About: I've been caring for my family's dog since I was young, and over the years, I've trained her to do a variety of fun and useful tricks. My love for animals has also led me to babysit many of my friends' dogs, giving me hands-on experience with different breeds and temperaments. Whether it's going for long walks, playing fetch, or simply giving lots of attention and care, I truly enjoy spending time with all kinds of animals. I’m currently flexible with my current job that varies on the day so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups on weekdays and weekends. I have a fenced yard, big house and 2 of the friendliest medium sized poodles who love to play with all kinds of different animals.
“My dogs haven’t been on any walks for months. Illness took over our ability to walk them. So we decided to hire a dog walker. I found Rover and I’m so glad I did! Nick is outstanding to help get our dogs used to him and then getting back into walking outside again. They are so excited to see Nick and now know that he is taking them for a walk. Nick is awesome handling my over excited, over reactive barking dogs when he comes over! Nick is the best!!!”

“We are so glad we found Jennifer! She treats our bloodhound puppy like her own and we are comforted that we have someone who is so great with dogs and completely reliable to care for our pup. It was obvious when I met Jennifer that she knows what she's doing. She immediately took to our dog and asked all the right questions. Her flexibility and communication make our weekly arrangements easy to manage. If you are looking for someone knowledgeable, trustworthy, reliable, and patient...we highly recommend Jennifer!!!”

Also providing as little or as much exercise and potty breaks as needed :)
About: I’ve trained my own dogs all their tricks. I love to play with dogs and teach them new things, I have two French bulldogs and also two pit bulls so size doesn’t matter! Im currently working and my schedule varies but I can get anytime off and am still available! Weekends are always open for me as well. My dogs are kept on harnesses with leashes. They were fully potty trained but when they weren’t we took them out every hour. They get two walks a day, and two meals.
About: I have always lived with dogs and cats. I have dog-sat puppies to elderly dogs. Always ready to learn an give your pets so much love. I will have plenty of time to love and take care of your pets, it will always be at the top of my priorities! There may be instances where I may have to step out for a bit but I will always let you know and work with you to make sure I'm not gone too long. I do not offer services in my home, but I do have several cats and dogs of my own and I love to play and cuddle. I will always be respectful of you and your space as well as your pets. Making sure your pets are happy is always my top priority.
About: I’ve always had a soft spot for animals, mine or otherwise. I also truly believe pets are family, and I know how important it is to trust the person caring for them when you can’t be there. I have over 20 years of experience caring for pets, including experience with senior dogs and cats who may need a little extra patience and attention. I’m comfortable providing medications and following specific care instructions and routines. I also understand that every animal is different. Some love lots of attention and playtime, some are more independent, and others are happiest just having someone nearby. I take the time to get to know each pet and what helps them feel comfortable and cared for. I take the time to learn your pet’s personality, routine, and what makes them comfortable. Most importantly, I want them to feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I currently run my own business from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility in my daily schedule and allows me to be available throughout the day for pet care. I also have two small rescue dogs of my own, so caring for pets is already a natural part of my everyday routine. Because I’m home much of the day, I’m able to provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, attention, and plenty of company. I can also be flexible with feeding schedules, medications, and other routines your pet is used to at home. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely get outside for potty breaks and playtime, along with two small, friendly dogs of my own. My dogs are crated at bedtime, which also gives visiting pets a chance to settle in and have some quiet time. I understand that not every dog wants to be around other dogs all the time, so I can provide your dog with their own separate space when needed or if that is what they are most comfortable with. I’m also happy to follow your pet’s normal feeding, sleeping, medication, and care routines as closely as possible. When caring for pets in their own home, I’m respectful of both your home and your pet’s routine and will follow the care instructions you provide. My priority is making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.
“Showed up early every morning before the heat to get a small walk in for our older dog! Then played and loved on him the rest of the time. We appreciated you meeting him first and will love keeping you for future trips if your up to it! Sent daily pics in the notes and was very communicative and friendly!”
About: Hi! I’m 24 years old and have been running my pet sitting business for the past 6 years full-time. I started pet sitting in Maricopa using word of mouth and advertising on Facebook to gain new clients and overall more knowledge about each clients needs and wants during my services. I am cautious, clean, professional, and respectful of each and every one of my clients homes and pets. I mostly care for dogs and cats but I do also have experience with farm animals. I’ve been running my pet sitting business for about 7 years now and hope to continue to provide amazing care for my clients pets for many more years to come. My big goal is to save for a house so I’m able to expand my business and continue providing the best care for my current clients pets and potential clients along the way. That being said, I will be changing my base rate for overnights from $50 per night to $65 per night starting January 1st, 2027 Currently, I’m only able to care for pets in my client’s home so safety is my number one important thing with my clients pets and homes. I’m cautious when entering and leaving any door. I follow every instruction given to ensure the pets are getting everything they need. I communicate with my clients if anything does come up and send daily pictures of their pets.

About: I’ve had cats and dogs by my side for as long as I can remember, so caring for animals has always felt like second nature to me. My childhood cat is now an impressive 20 years old, and if that doesn’t say “lifelong pet person,” I don’t know what does! I truly believe pets are family — mine are absolutely my babies — and I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for them when you can’t be there. Whether your pet is an energetic adventurer, a professional couch potato, a shy little soul, or somewhere in between, I’m happy to meet them where they are. I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, affection, playtime, and care, while treating them with the same patience and love I’d want someone to give my own. 🐾 I am currently not working, and looking for a way to fill my time. My dog is used to the routine of being kenneled while I am gone in the day and I would not like to change his routine too much by staying home all day. I would love to be active and help with animals more. I would be present with the animal either 24/7 or potty breaks every 1-2 hours. I am experienced in administering medication for senior cats, young cats, or puppies. I have administered fluid IVs, pills, and liquid medications. I love going outside, and I love camping and bringing my dog off leash camping.
About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, birds, & fish for friends and family for over 30 years. I am also currently fostering for Arizona Humane. I am available any time and day for pet sitting, house sitting, and dog walking. I am also available for regular and or drop-in visits. I have a fenced yard & kennel for dogs and cats. I am also available to come to your home for walks, plays & feedings.

About: I don’t have professional pet sitting experience. However I’ve had dogs in my home all my life and my current dog is my personal baby. I wake up same time everyday to feed her and feed her a second time in the evening. She gets lots of love and attention and I’m a very active person so I love to take her on walks and out to parks. I’ve also pet-sat for neighbors and friends before with no issues! I love animals a lot and use to have a cat as well. I’m comfortable with all breeds and hope to leave you feeling at ease and satisfied with my care for your pups and kittens alike! I work 2 overnight shifts a week (Friday and Saturday nights 10pm-6am) at my current job making me free pretty much 4-5 days out of the week! I’d also be happy to stop by before or after one of my shifts to take your pet on a walk and make sure they’re fed. I have one small friendly dog to keep yours company and a mini yard. I also have a big field nearby I like to bring my dog too and hopefully yours! I’m pretty flexible so whether you just need me to stop in, stay overnight, or keep them at my place I’m open to it all.
About: I'm a lifelong animal lover with two amazing daughters and a wonderful husband who adore helping with pets. Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember—and I truly love them more than you can imagine. Your fur baby will be well cared for and loved while they are in our home. My schedule is flexible and usually open to accommodate all your pet care needs, ensuring your furry friends get the attention and care they deserve whenever you need it. I provide a safe, fenced yard with a dog kennel and friendly doggy neighbors, so your fur baby can play and relax in good company while you’re away.
About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, and I can’t imagine life without them. I personally have a German Shepherd who always makes life interesting. I love to play with my dog on a daily basis and take her on long walks. My work schedule is very flexible, as I do not have a typical 9-5 schedule. I also have reliable transportation. I am available anytime of the day. I am willing to make multiple visits to a home during the day, and stay as long as needed. A dog should feel reassured while their master is away from home. I’ve had experience administering medication to an animal. My Siamese kitty had diabetes, and I had to give her insulin injections daily, so I would be comfortable giving medication orally or as an injection. I also have cats, and would love to cat sit for you! *Note about booking multiple cats:* If you contact me regarding sitting for more than one cat, I only charge for the visit, not per cat. For some reason when Rover calculates a pet stay for cats, it automatically charges per cat, and the estimated cost is outrageously higher than what I actually charge. However, I can easily adjust the total cost before booking.
About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and temperaments for many years, including pets for friends, family, and neighbors. I have experience with puppies, senior pets, and anxious dogs, and I understand how important it is to keep pets comfortable and stick to their normal routines. As the owner of Desert Paws AZ, I provide calm, reliable in-home care so pets feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’m fully insured and background checked, and I’m attentive to each pet’s individual needs, including feeding, walks, medications if needed, and maintaining their normal routines. I also treat every home and animal with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I provide photo updates after every visit so you always know how your pets are doing. My schedule allows me to be flexible and dependable when it comes to pet care. I enjoy creating a calm, consistent experience for pets and always try to work around their usual routines so they feel comfortable while you’re away. I offer drop-in visits and dog walks throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on availability. Creating a safe, calm, and trustworthy environment is very important to me when caring for pets in their own home. I always take the time to learn each pet’s routine and personality so visits feel familiar, comfortable, and low-stress while you’re away. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and home routines. I also provide photo updates after every visit so you can feel confident your pets are safe and well cared for.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
