About: I've been pet sitting and house sitting since I was 14 and have experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages. What sets me apart is my patience, reliability, and attention to each pet's individual needs. I have experience helping with potty training puppies and understand the consistency and supervision that young dogs require. I have also cared for senior pets and am comfortable following special routines, administering basic care, and providing the extra attention older animals often need. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their families are away. I’m currently in school for nursing, but have plenty of time to care for your pets! I plan my schedule carefully to ensure pets receive the attention, exercise, and care they need. Whether it's feeding, walks, playtime, check-ins, or overnight stays, I am committed to being reliable and maintaining each pet's normal routine so they feel comfortable and well cared for while their owners are away. When caring for pets in a client's home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I follow all instructions carefully regarding feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any special needs. I make sure pets have a safe, clean environment, plenty of attention, and regular exercise and companionship. I also provide updates and photos when requested so pet parents can feel confident that their pets are happy and well cared for while they're away.
“Celestina does such a wonderful job -- it's not just a walk, it's an adventure for my fur baby! She writes wonderful reports on what happened during the walk, accompanied by lots of pictures!”

“Olivia has been an absolute lifesaver for our family and our dog, Auggie. From day one, she has been incredibly reliable, with perfect attendance and punctuality every single time. Knowing that I can count on her completely gives me so much peace of mind. What truly sets Olivia apart is how much she genuinely cares. Auggie absolutely adores her and gets super excited every time he sees her. As a devoted (and admittedly sometimes overprotective) dog mom, I have plenty of special requests and instructions, and Olivia always listens carefully and follows them without hesitation. She is thoughtful, attentive, and extremely responsible on walks. She takes the time to put Auggie's doggy shoes on before walks and remove them afterward, makes his safety a priority, and is always aware of his surroundings. It's obvious that she treats him as if he were her own. If you're looking for someone who is dependable, trustworthy, caring, and truly exceptional with dogs, I cannot recommend Olivia highly enough. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found her, and Auggie agrees!”

About: I started off as a cat person after college and turned into loving dogs since I've been married 16 years ago! I am the one that stops owners and their dogs on walks to see if I can pet them. We have two dogs of our own and I love to play and cuddle with them! I work full time with a very flexible schedule. I am home most days, and usually if I need to leave it's 2-4 hours at a time at most. I have a fenced yard-but there is an unfenced pool. There is a dog run, completely separate from the main yard the dogs can access through a doggie door. I also walk my dogs almost daily first thing in the morning.
“Cassandra is great with our new puppy Finnegan! She is very easy to work with and keeps us updated when she is visiting with him. It is easy to see how much she loves dogs just from the first meeting with Finnegan. We will definitely be using her going forward! Thank you Cassandra!”

About: I am not sure why it says I prefer dogs over 1 and I don’t know how to fix it, but I certainly don’t mind puppies! I have currently have two cats, a Border Collie and Pomeranian. The Border Collie is very friendly, & calm. She will play, but as she’s gotten older she would rather supervise/referee if you will. She is fantastic with any dog all dogs; small, large, energetic, introverted or anxious. She is very good at picking up on & respecting boundaries. My Pomeranian, Teddy is very sweet. He’s a puppy, so he’s just a little ball of energy. My cats have keep to themselves and are used to dogs being around. They typically hide in our upstairs and sleep mostly during the day. They are more active in the nighttime. I am a stay at home mom currently. I am available basically everyday of the week. I have 3 children. A three year old and twins, almost two. I teach them safety and etiquette regarding the behaviors and actions that are safe to engage in around dogs/cats and when these behaviors are appropriate and not. I have fenced back yard, your fur baby can play with mine or we can play fetch. I live in a safe, and friendly neighborhood with several dog parks around if that’s something you would be interested in. I like to take my children and my dogs on evening walks given it is cooler around this time. , id love for yours to join.
About: Your pets will be doted on, loved, walked, played with, and feel extra special. When it’s too hot, we play fetch all day when it’s nice enough out, we go on many walks all day, every day! I have never been without a pet, and for the past 30 years I’ve been treating other peoples pets like my own. My hope is that while you’re away, you have zero worry about your fur babies. I have cared for tiny puppies still nursing, kittens, wild crazy teenage pups, and senior dogs and cats. I will make your pets feel loved and have lots of fun while you’re away! I work from home and simply love animals! I will treat you babies like my own. I have been caring for dogs and cats for over 30 years and would be happy to provide references. I do whatever I am asked on top of normal care, exercise, and attention. I walk the dogs a min of 2 times a day and we play lots of fetch, do tummy rubs, lots of snuggles.
About: Hi! I’m a responsible and caring pet sitter who understands that pets are family. I provide attentive, loving care and will treat your pets as if they were my own. Whether you’re away for a day or an extended trip, you can count on me to keep your pets happy, safe, and well cared for while giving you peace of mind. I am currently working part time as a nanny and babysitter, so I have lots of time on my hands to care for pets. I enjoy staying active and spending time with animals, so for me dog-walking and petsitting both fit naturally into my routine! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to follow their normal routine as closely as possible so the pet feels comfortable and secure. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, medication if needed, and any specific rules the owner provides. I also make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection so they feel safe and not stressed while their owner is away. If I’m caring for pets in my own home, I create a calm, clean, and safe environment where they can relax and feel at ease. I keep them on a consistent schedule for feeding, potty breaks, exercise, and rest. I also supervise them closely, give them regular walks and playtime, and make sure they always have fresh water and a comfortable space to settle in. My goal in either setting is to treat every pet as if they were my own and ensure they are happy, safe, and well cared for.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life! My grandpa would always rely on me to feed his dogs and play with them since he couldn’t really do so. I currently have a senior dog and he is the cutest little thing in the world, I adore him. Our youngest dog, who I trained, can do such helpful tricks! I am currently a college student attending CGCC to study Software Engineering. Pet care would fit perfectly into my daily/weekly routine because it would give me the ability to do my school work but also meet so many amazing dogs! I walk my dogs often and know how to get them the right amount of physical activity needed! Having a backyard without a fence of some sort would not be a problem with a leash. I like to make sure that there is nothing reachable in the house that is considered toxic to dogs.
About: Since the day I was born I had an English bulldog that was a brother to me. Now I have three English bulldogs two of them brothers 9 years old and the other a girl 2 years old. I’ve watched them for three years now when my family is out of town weather it comes down to stopping in hanging, feeding and walking, or to staying the night for a week or washing them and picking up poop. I’ve always had a soft spot when it comes to any animal. Ive recently also adopted an obsession with cats my friend has two and im obsessed. As a dedicated pet care specialist, I have the flexibility and availability to make your pets my top priority at all times. I'm eager to spend my time with your furry companions, ensuring they receive the best care and attention they deserve. As a loving, caring pet provider, my focus is always creating a space, comfortable and nurturing for your pets. Treating your fur babies as family. One thing I love doing is sending photos of your pets while they’re with me, making sure you get to see them and know they’re in safe hands.😁
About: I was born into a home that always had 2 dogs and have loved animals since an early age. I have experience dog-sitting, cat-sitting, dog-walking, administering medicines, including insulin. I will make your animal feel loved and take the stress away from you being away. I don’t have a normal work schedule so I can make sure that I am always available when your animal needs me. I’m very reliable and honest. I will make sure to not just pet-sit or walk your dog, I will give your animal attention and love so that they forget you are even gone.
About: I’ve been a pet owner all of my life, and have cared for pets off and on for the last 25 years. Experience with puppies through seniors needing special care or meds. References available! New to Rover. Certified teacher with a fingerprint clearance card. I work from home, and have a lot of freedom. I also plan to bring my 16 year old daughter while she is home for the summer so that she can build her experience. If that is an issue, just let me know. Drop in visits are so important to make sure pets not only get an outside break, but also revive some physical and mental stimulation. Will be engaging and interactive to make sure their break is productive.
About: I have owned a variety of pets throughout my life, but mostly dogs especially as an adult. As far as dogs go, I’ve had many different breeds! I’ve also had a mama dog (a blue nosed pit) who had 3 litters- 11,8, and 9 puppies to be exact! So that experience was wonderful- if I had the financial means, and the space housing wise, I would love to adopt or foster home as many as I could- maybe someday! For now, I have a schnoodle who keeps me company! All of that said, I am an animal lover, period! Dogs, cats, rats (pet rats, lol) hamsters, birds, you name it, and I’ve probably owned it or pet sat for it! I’m currently unemployed and have a lot of availability to care for your critters! Would love to pet sit, or take your dog for walks, or take them out for potty breaks when you’re at work! I am trustworthy and reliable. I have lots of referrals from friends and family and past clients that will tell you the same. Recently relocated to the area and because of this, I don’t know anybody yet!
“Zoey was immediately comfortable with Gregory. He arrived on time, was professional and took great care of her. She's a senior dog and he adjusted the walk to her needs. I would highly recommend!”

We feel so lucky to have found Sue to walk our puppy Teddy during the day while we were crate training. She has been extremely dependable even as our schedule became a little volatile. My wife got to see Teddy with her once and it was obvious how much Teddy loves her. Highly recommend

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
