“Amber was great. I know Jazmine will miss her and I appreciate everything and coming through at such short notice. I would definitely take my dogs to her if she starts dog sitting again.”

“Lindsay and Eric were super flexible in having the dogs stay overnight when our trip coming back from the Grand Canyon was delayed due to traffic. We’ve had the pups stay with them before and would recommend them as they are super helpful, kind, and always accommodating! Thank you again :)”

“Katie was very easy to work with and Sally & Millie seemed to enjoy their day with Katie and her husband! We’re in AZ for 3 weeks and we’ll definately use her again should we need a sitter for our girls!! Thanks again Katie for the short notice and for the pictures throughout the day!!”

“What can I say except at Cynthia is incredible! Oliver gets so excited as soon as he sees that we are turning onto her street. I’m always at peace when he’s with her because I know that she’s giving him all of the love, snuggles and playtime that he wants and needs. I could ask for a better person to care for my little guy!”

“Angela took care of our puppy as it was her’s! She was very accommodating and kind. She communicated promptly. Our dog loved going to her every day. We will always use her service whenever we are in town.”

About: Hello Pet Parent! My name is Tierra. I am a huge pet lover with a total of 9+ years experience caring for pets and volunteering as a foster pet mom. Your fur-baby will be safe, comfortable, loved, and exhausted from the fun, paw-tastic time they’ll have playing games, socializing, practicing commands, and taking walks in the neighborhood! Read below for more details on how your fur baby will be cared for. Also, if you’re new to Rover, feel free to use my promo code TIERRW14926 to receive $20 off your first booking experience* I’m currently in school with most of my classes being online so I have the flexibility to spoil your fur-baby as if they were my own. S/He will have frequent potty breaks and, because I only board two pets max per day, they’ll have individualized love, care, and monitoring. If special care is needed (meds, topicals, etc) I’m happy to provide that too. I have plenty of toys and treats with a walking trail around my development. I also have two 8lb playful male furbabies. A Pom named Milo and a Yorkie named Rocky so your fur baby will meet at least two new friend. 🐾 🐾🐾
“Joey and Ally have been absolutely patient and sweet with my shy dog! I was anxious about leaving my skittish dog in an unknown territory but both Joey and Ally were understanding and respected my dog’s boundaries until he felt comfortable enough to approach them. I look forward to boarding my dog with them in the future with them!!”

“Krysten is always so wonderful with our fur kiddos. She is so friendly and I know they are safe and well loved in her home. We have now done overnight boarding and daycare with both our elderly 12 year old lab and our 1.5 year old "puppy" that is a ball of energy. She can handle all things with them (including meds when needed) with love and we are grateful we found her! Highly recommend her.”

About: Hi! I’m the kind of person who plans my entire day around dogs. 😊 I have two little pups of my own — one senior baby who enjoys stroller rides and sunshine, and one younger sidekick who keeps me active — so caring for dogs is already a huge part of my everyday life. I’m patient, calm, observant, and very tuned into animals’ behaviors and comfort levels. I know how nerve-wracking it can feel leaving your pets with someone else, especially if they’re older, anxious, routine-oriented, or need medications or extra care. I truly treat animals like family and try to create a safe, cozy, low-stress environment where they feel comfortable and loved. I also work remotely, so I’m home often and able to provide lots of attention, supervision, potty breaks, walks, updates, and snuggles throughout the day. I work remotely, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine and allows me to provide lots of attention, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. My own dogs are a huge part of my life, so I’m very used to structured routines, feeding schedules, medication schedules, and making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and flexible care depending on your pet’s needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’m very attentive to routines, behavior changes, feeding instructions, medications, and making sure pets feel calm and secure while you’re away. I have experience with both senior dogs and younger energetic dogs, so I understand that every pet has different needs and personalities. I’m also mindful of Arizona heat and always prioritize safe walks, hydration, and comfort. I treat every pet like family and will always communicate clearly with updates and photos.
“Amazing care! They’re such kind individuals and really enjoy taking care of you’re furry friends and family. They made sure she played lots and she was feed as well. I also enjoy knowing that she is playing and enjoying time with other dogs and with Lauree & Keith! Thank you so much and I will definitely be coming back!!”

“If I could leave 6 stars, I would. Stephanie has been so caring and attentive with my dog, I haven’t worried for a second about how he’s doing when she’s watching him. He’s been getting great exercise too and comes home exhausted. Her kids have been awesome with him too, to the point I think he’d have preferred staying with them vs coming home with me!”

“Chai and I love Audrey! She found the key to my shy, timid guy. I'm so grateful for Chai to have a comfortable caring space. Totally appreciate all the updates throughout the day.”

“Danielle is an amazing sitter. I never worry about the care that Finn receives. It's always comforting to go on vacation and know that my "little man" Finn is being well cared for. Thank you again.”

“This was our first time dropping our 2 year old dachshund off at daycare for the day and Nelly made us feel extremely comfortable leaving him in her care! We received the cutest updates with pictures of him enjoying the sun and all cuddled up on the couch. We would definitely recommend Nelly to others who want undivided love and attention for their babies.”

About: Hey guys! I’ve taken care of cats and dogs for about 9 years now and love to play and cuddle with them! Friends and family have relied on me to walk and feed their animals since I could drive; you can definitely count on me to keep your furbaby (or furbabies) happy while you are away! We have recently added a golden retriever to the family so we currently have 3 fur babies. My babies are great hosts and love to play with everyone they meet. I can’t wait to meet you guys! One of us works from home full time so your pet will have as many potty breaks as they need. We are generally free on weekends (we may leave for a few hours here or there) so your pet will always have someone to play with. I have a fenced yard and a very friendly pup that is so excited to play with everyone. We have grass in the backyard that is mostly shaded all day so your pet will not be too hot during the summer. We like to keep the dogs inside during the afternoon to protect their paws but will provide plenty of fetch and play time outside when it cools in the evening. We have all tile downstairs so no need to worry about accidents. We like to treat our pets like our babies so we allow them on the furniture and beds and this extends to any fur guest! We are happy to crate your pet at night if you wish but we normally give our pets full access to the house. We have plenty of space and would love to host you!
About: Hi! I’m Lex. I grew up surrounded by animals of all kinds, so caring for them has always been second nature to me. From dogs and cats to reptiles and other unique pets, I’m comfortable, confident, and genuinely enjoy spending time with them all. I believe every animal deserves patient, attentive care and a calm environment where they feel safe. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, routine, and little quirks so they stay comfortable when you are away. Whether it’s an energetic dog that needs exercise, a cuddly cat that wants company, or reptiles that require more specialized care, I’m happy to help. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I truly love them all even the slobbery ones. I’m reliable, very detail oriented, and treat every pet like they’re my own. My goal is for you to feel completely at ease knowing your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for. Feel free to reach out with any questions I’d love to meet you and your pets! 🐾 My schedule is very flexible especially on the weekends. I'm open for early morning, mid day or a sunset walk (my personal fav) or even a visit to the dog park whatever your preference is. I'm only looking to offer care in clients homes at this time. I ask for a schedule/routine to be left so I can continue with the norm and stay consistent on whatever training you may be working on as well. (Meet and greets are also very helpful)
About: Hi friends! My name is Lyn and I have owned pets all my life, in fact, my house doesn’t feel like a home without them! I grew up on a farm where we had dogs, cats, horses, goats, llamas, alpacas, emu, geese, chickens, donkeys, Guinea hen, Guinea pigs, ferrets, and a partridge in a pear tree;) I was in 4-H throughout my youth and gained valuable skills caring for animals from goats to horses. I was a private banker for 12 years and became a stay at home mom almost a year ago. Recently I fostered a litter of 7 puppies from the time they were one week old until they left at 8 weeks old. I am getting into photography and I’m excited to take great pictures of your pets for you while you’re away. I absolutely love animals and I’m excited to care for your fur baby.
“This was my first time using this service and Brooklyne was great. I will definitely be using her services again. I can tell Kenzo had a great time. He has been asleep since he got home. THANKS AGAIN Brooklyne ❤”

“Ericka and her family was fantastic with keeping Ollie during my time away out of town. I would recommend her services to my family and friends.. Thank you so very much!!”

If I could leave 6 stars, I would. Stephanie has been so caring and attentive with my dog, I haven’t worried for a second about how he’s doing when she’s watching him. I had a good experience with Claire once again , it’s a relief to know she’s the same caring person as she was on day one ! She was attentive and honest . My pup managed to chew up a toy while there and she stepped in to take it away and discard it . I especially appreciated the follow up message the following day to check in and make sure my dog was still doing well , I know you truly care and I appreciate it . I would highly recommend booking !

Anjali was fantastic and took great care of Loki - Thanks Anjali. From the time I contacted her, she was really good in her responses so that I could plan accordingly. Through the day she kept me posted on how Loki was doing and did everything possible to keep him engaged and cater to his needs. I strongly recommend Anjali for your rover needs.

Lindsay and Mark were above and beyond fantastic about taking care of our fur baby. Our doggo can be a little shy and is new with being at a dog sitter’s home with other dogs. Lindsay made extra time to meet me and my dog in advance, then sent a movie of the dogs doing great together and reassuring messages. It allowed me to get work done and know all was well for my four legged friend. I absolutely recommend Lindsay and Mark and am so grateful to have found them! 🐾✨

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Higley commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
