About: I am here for all the little doggies. I have a teacup yorkie myself. Small dogs need a safe place to be loved. Where their little egos can be fed and they can get all the cuddles needed while away from their family. I have a good size backyard, but they aren't allowed out there without supervision for their safety. My neighborhood has beautiful walking paths for daily walks. We have enough room where your dog could have a safe place of their own if he needed at nighttime. I do daily walks with my dog that your dog could join if they like. I work from home full-time so potty breaks and cuddles could be frequent if needed. Also because I work from home, if your dog prefers 3 smaller meals a day I can accommodate that type of scheduled. I would accommodate any diet schedule/accommodations needed. Some medications I could administer if needed. Your dog would get at least one walk per day. Nice backyard for them to play in. Back yard is fully fenced and does not have a pool.
About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I’m patient, loving, attentive, and very responsible. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds, including dogs with different medical conditions that require extra attention and care. I’m home full-time, which allows me to give pets plenty of love, companionship, playtime, walks, and gentle belly rubs to help them feel safe and comfortable just like at home. I truly enjoy spending quality time with dogs and making sure they feel happy and relaxed while in my care. I do not use crates. Dogs in my home are treated like family. I also have a small dog of my own who is very calm, friendly, and well-socialized. Because of this, I can only accept dogs that are friendly and comfortable around other dogs. I’m home full-time, so pet care is part of my daily routine. I’m available all day to provide supervision, frequent potty breaks, meals, playtime, walks, and plenty of love and attention. Pets are safe and comfortable in my home. I have a fully fenced backyard and supervise them at all times. My house is spacious, and the neighborhood is quiet, secure, and full of green areas for walks and play.
About: I've cared for dogs my entire life and have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I currently have three dogs with different temperaments, sizes, and care needs, so I'm comfortable adapting my care to each dog's routine and personality. Growing up, I helped care for and train our family dogs, including a Boxer and a Labrador Retriever. I also helped my mom care for her three dogs, giving me experience managing multiple dogs at once. In addition, I regularly care for dogs belonging to other family members whenever they're out of town. I'm comfortable with everything from energetic dogs that need plenty of exercise and playtime to dogs that prefer a slower pace or require extra patience and attention. I always take the time to learn each pet's routine so they feel safe, happy, and comfortable while their family is away. My goal is to treat every dog as if they were my own, providing dependable, loving care and giving owners complete peace of mind. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I care for my own pets every day. I primarily offer care in my home, where visiting dogs become part of the family during their stay. They'll receive plenty of attention, playtime, affection, regular potty breaks, and a comfortable, safe environment. Because I have experience caring for dogs with different personalities and needs, I'm able to adapt to each dog's routine and help them feel at home. Whether your dog loves to play, go for walks, or simply relax, I'll make sure they receive the love, care, and attention they deserve while you're away. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel completely comfortable and confident during their stay. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. My home has a fully fenced backyard with plenty of room to run, play, and explore safely. We also have a park directly behind our home, where I enjoy taking dogs for evening walks when the weather is cool and safe. During Arizona's hot summer months, I adjust activities to keep pets comfortable and prevent overheating. Instead of long walks in the heat, I provide indoor playtime, enrichment, and even fun car rides for dogs that enjoy them. I follow each pet's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, medications, and any special care instructions. I also live with a veterinary technician, so in the unlikely event of an emergency, I have immediate access to someone with professional animal care experience. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and low-stress environment where every pet feels right at home while you're away.

About: As a first-grade teacher, caring for others is a big part of who I am, and I bring that same patience, responsibility, and attention to detail to pet sitting. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I enjoy getting to know what makes them happiest. Whether your dog is an energetic puppy, an easygoing adult, or a senior who needs a little extra care, I'm happy to provide the attention they need. I'm comfortable following feeding schedules, administering basic medications if needed, and sticking to your pet's normal routine to help them feel comfortable while you're away. You'll always know how your pet is doing because I believe good communication is important. I send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. My goal is to provide reliable, loving care so your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for, and you can enjoy your time away knowing they're in good hands. As an elementary school teacher, I have a consistent schedule that allows me to be home by early afternoon on weekdays, giving me plenty of time for walks, playtime, and quality time with your pup. While I'm at school, my husband works from home full-time, so your pet will still have company, attention, and care throughout the day. I live in a neighborhood with lots of green belts and walking paths as well as our backyard. We have a doggy door and I can easily crate your fur baby if needed.
About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover who has grown up surrounded by dogs and understands how much they become a part of the family. Whether your pup needs lots of playtime, long walks, extra cuddles, medication reminders, or simply a calm and loving presence while you’re away, I’m happy to provide the care and attention they deserve. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. I enjoy staying active, going on walks, and creating a calm, comfortable environment where dogs can feel at home. I’m able to accommodate different routines, whether your pet needs regular walks, playtime, medication reminders, or just some extra love and companionship while you’re away. always follow what the owner feels is best for their pet because you know your furry family member better than anyone. Whether I’m caring for them in my home or yours, I want them to feel comfortable, safe, and loved while they’re with me. About: While I am new to Rover, I have been caring for my friends, family, and neighbors pets for the last 30 yrs. Just like humans, no two dogs are a like, so every job is catered specifically to your pets needs. I know how stressful travel can be on our animals so I always approach each assignment with extreme calm, patience, and positivity. I am a big believer in positive reinforcement. That way your dog/cat and I can build a strong and trusting relationship. I strive to treat everyone's pets as if they are my own fur babies. My full time job is caring for your fur baby and making sure they are healthy, happy, and comfortable, until you get home. Since this is AZ, our days are planned around the heat. In the winter we spend as much time outside as possible, walking, hiking, playing fetch. I like to teach new pups how to find treats in our designated dig spot in the backyard. In the warmer months I'll set an alarm early so we can still spend a few hrs outside before it gets too hot. I like to set up a kiddy pool so all of the pups can run around and cool off. I take AZ heat very seriously and am always on the look out for animals getting overheated. I will also always check the temperature of the sidewalk before heading out for a walk. If I'm caring for a pet in your home my in home visits include *Feeding and fresh water (I'll also keep the bowls clean) *Potty breaks *Playtime or cuddles *walks or enrichment time *medication management (if needed) *Mail collection *plant watering. If there is something you need done and it can be completed within the 30 min timeframe Id be happy to help. My goal is for your pup to feel happy, fed, and loved everyday before I leave. At my home I have a medium size fenced yard that is half grass half dirt. I also have a designated dig pit for the dogs who love to dig. I have a one yr old, male, 25lb mini Aussie/terrier mix, who is the welcome wagon and loves all dogs. He's available all day long to play or just cuddle in the sun. In the winter he gets walked 3 times a day and in the summer we go early in the am and late at night. We also enjoy going to the park when it is empty or hiking. I have a medium size crate in my bedroom but there is room for a larger one. If your pup prefers to sleep in his crate alone, I also have a guest bedroom they can go in. But I usually suggest letting your dog sleep in his crate or dog bed in my room since its a new environment.

Wow! What a great person to have representing Rover. She agreed to watch my dog while I took my 87y/o MIL to a Christmas concert. My timing got blown up the way only a MIL or an 87 y/o can do. The sitter rolled with the changes no questions asked. She’s a great communicator and dog sitter!!! Definitely will recommend and schedule another time!

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
