“This was my first time using Rover for my 13 year old dog and I couldn't have been more satisfied! I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with Donna. She let my dog and I come for an introduction a few weeks before our trip and that was so helpful. I would absolutely use Donna's services again and would highly recommend her!”

About: Bruno works with Technology and Renata is a registered nurse from Brazil who is currently completing the requirements to practice nursing in the United States. This allows her to be home throughout the day, so your dog will enjoy constant companionship, personalized care, and will rarely be left alone. Caring for dogs has always been a big part of our lives. Bruno grew up around German Shepherds raised by his grandfather, while Renata has cared for dogs for many years and truly treats every guest as if they were her own. Our goal is simple: to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience where your dog feels at home. Your dog will be treated like part of our family 🧡 Hi! We’re Bruno and Renata, a dog-loving couple living in a spacious home in Ocotillo, Chandler, with our friendly 9-year-old Golden Retriever, Eva. We understand how difficult it can be to leave your dog behind while you’re away. That’s why we do everything we can to make each guest feel safe, comfortable, and loved from the moment they arrive. Unlike large boarding facilities, we provide a calm home environment where every dog receives individual attention, affection, and plenty of supervised playtime. Why pet parents choose us: 🐾 Large, clean home with a fully fenced backyard. 🐾 Renata is home all day long, so your dog is rarely left alone. 🐾 Daily walks (adjusted to Arizona weather). 🐾 Indoor, air-conditioned environment for your dog’s comfort. 🐾 Daily playtime with tennis balls, toys, and enrichment activities. 🐾 Frequent photo and video updates, so you’ll always know how your best friend is doing. 🐾 Experience caring for puppies, adult dogs, senior dogs, and dogs that require medication. 🐾 Meet & Greets are always welcome before booking. To ensure every dog receives the attention they deserve, we host a maximum of two guest dogs at a time. If you’d prefer your dog to have our home all to themselves, we’re happy to reserve those dates exclusively for them by not accepting any other bookings during their stay.
“Natalie and Ricardo were wonderful with our cats! Everything went exactly as planned, and they also took amazing photos of our cats, which we really appreciated. It gave us peace of mind knowing our cats were in such good hands. We highly recommend them and would happily book with them again!”

“WOW. I am so happy that God blessed me with Ann & Michael. My pups Ozzy and Duke needed a trusted yet amazing sitter and Ann & Michael exceeded our expectations!”

About: I am here for all the little doggies. I have a teacup yorkie myself. Small dogs need a safe place to be loved. Where their little egos can be fed and they can get all the cuddles needed while away from their family. I have a good size backyard, but they aren't allowed out there without supervision for their safety. My neighborhood has beautiful walking paths for daily walks. We have enough room where your dog could have a safe place of their own if he needed at nighttime. I do daily walks with my dog that your dog could join if they like. I work from home full-time so potty breaks and cuddles could be frequent if needed. Also because I work from home, if your dog prefers 3 smaller meals a day I can accommodate that type of scheduled. I would accommodate any diet schedule/accommodations needed. Some medications I could administer if needed. Your dog would get at least one walk per day. Nice backyard for them to play in. Back yard is fully fenced and does not have a pool.
“Alex took such good care of our little girl! She was comfortable and had so much fun at day care with Alex and all of the other dogs there as well. Her backyard is perfect for sunbathing which my dog LOVES! And we got so many pictures to show just how much fun our dog was having!”

“Megan was great with Mac. Ive only had him a few weeks, so I wasnt sure how he would do at daycare, but Megan has a real way with dogs. Everything went well and Mac got to get some exposure to kids and other dogs.”

I currently work part time from home and have plenty of time to spend with your pup. I do have a covered patio for them to hang out and is shaded for part of the day. I have a huge fenced yard and 3 pups of my own. I do have other crates if needed for the times I need to run errands and while I work. They will have frequent potty breaks for the times I am working. I can also provide a special diet if needed for your pup.

“What can I say except at Cynthia is incredible! Oliver gets so excited as soon as he sees that we are turning onto her street. I’m always at peace when he’s with her because I know that she’s giving him all of the love, snuggles and playtime that he wants and needs. I could ask for a better person to care for my little guy!”

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Bapchule commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
