“What can I say except at Cynthia is incredible! Oliver gets so excited as soon as he sees that we are turning onto her street. I’m always at peace when he’s with her because I know that she’s giving him all of the love, snuggles and playtime that he wants and needs. I could ask for a better person to care for my little guy!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover who’s never known life without a furry friend. I’ve had dogs my entire life—from tiny lap dogs to big, lovable giants—so I’m comfortable with pups of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. Whether your dog loves long walks, belly rubs, playtime in the backyard, or just relaxing on the couch, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. I know every dog is unique, and I enjoy getting to know their individual quirks. You can count on me to provide plenty of attention, affection, and updates while you’re away, so you’ll have peace of mind knowing your best friend is in good hands. I can’t wait to meet your pup and spoil them like one of my own! I work from home so I am always home. It is a very rare occasion that I am not home and I would never have to leave for more than an hour. I have a fenced yard that is landscaped, dog safe, and an in ground pool that is fenced off from the rest of the yard. We do allow dogs in our pool if your pup is an experienced swimmer, I am happy to do supervised swim time. My husband and our 8 year old will be home at times but I am primary caregiver and always supervising.
“I cant express how grateful I am for finding Krysten and her amazing family, my babies found new friends who showed them love and friendship. Thank you for doing such an amazing job and cant wait for their next visit with you.”

“As someone new to the area, I was a bit nervous about finding a sitter who would be mindful of the heat. Thankfully, Laree and Keith completely put me at ease- they provided a safe, comfortable space for our dog, kept great communication, and gave our boy such thoughtful attention. It means so much to not have to worry about him when we’re away.”

“Melissa and her family took great care of our 1st-timers! They were clearly well-cared for and even received a mini spa day while they were there for the day. We would definitely visit them again!”

“Nicole watched Pepperjac as a puppy for some time and then we needed a sitter again a specific week months later. Pepperjac recognized the neighborhood and got so excited to be back with Nicole. We know she is taken care of, happy and safe during her stay. Great communication and updates as well. We appreciate you Nicole.”

“Keith and family were so great with my little guy! From the moment we met he was so welcoming. It’s such a relief to have a place for my dog to go that I trust he’s being well cared for! Will be booking again in the near future!”

“Communication was amazing, photo updates throughout the days made us so happy and brought so much comfort for our first time leaving our puppy with someone else! Thank you!!”

“This was our first time using Rover and we were very pleased with Kelly and Kris! Their dog was so sweet and gentle and got along very well with my girl. They provided pictures and updates, and were very responsive!”

About: I am here for all the little doggies. I have a teacup yorkie myself. Small dogs need a safe place to be loved. Where their little egos can be fed and they can get all the cuddles needed while away from their family. I have a good size backyard, but they aren't allowed out there without supervision for their safety. My neighborhood has beautiful walking paths for daily walks. We have enough room where your dog could have a safe place of their own if he needed at nighttime. I do daily walks with my dog that your dog could join if they like. I work from home full-time so potty breaks and cuddles could be frequent if needed. Also because I work from home, if your dog prefers 3 smaller meals a day I can accommodate that type of scheduled. I would accommodate any diet schedule/accommodations needed. Some medications I could administer if needed. Your dog would get at least one walk per day. Nice backyard for them to play in. Back yard is fully fenced and does not have a pool.
“Chai and I love Audrey! She found the key to my shy, timid guy. I'm so grateful for Chai to have a comfortable caring space. Totally appreciate all the updates throughout the day.”

“Wonderful visit and great communication, appreciate all the effort that went into making Boudreaux feel right at home. Would definitely recommend and use again!”

About: I've taken care of cats and dogs (anything from smaller breeds like Jack Russell Terriers to larger breeds like Huskies, Golden Retrievers, and Black Mouth Curs) since 2016. I fostered a half-chihuahua puppy from 2017-2018. Animals with special routines, different medications, and different personalities. I'm patient and love caring for them no matter their quirks. I'm a recent college grad and currently a freelance English tutor (online), so I have an abundance of time and full availability for your pups/kitties! I make sure I know their favorite toy, just in case they don't feel well or need some extra cheering up. I ensure to do their favorite things with them and give them all the play time, attention, pets, and cuddles they need!
About: I am a true dog lover and have 20 years experience both professional and personal with fur babies. I have 2 dogs of my own that love to play and cuddle. I work from home so I will be able to provide 24/7 care for your family member. My home has a dog door so bathroom breaks are as often as your pet would like. The backyard has grass for a play area and a pool for your doggo to swim in (if they’d like). I will give your dog daily walks and an abundance amount of play time. I care for dogs of all sizes, ages and needs. Does your dog need medication or have a special diet? No problem! I will cater to your needs. I look forward to providing a relaxing and fun stay for your fur baby! Contact me today to book your pup’s visit 😁 We begin our day with meals and potty breaks. Followed by play, either inside or outside. Whatever weather permits. Belly scratches and rest. Potty breaks as needed. All dogs are fed separately from ours to not cause jealousy and prevent eating of others food. Our dogs are comfortable with others but if needed, I can keep our dogs separated. I will care for yours like they are my own and will accommodate any special requests.
“Patty was amazing! She sent us regular updates and photos and our two pups, Mr. Waffles and Skittles, couldn't have been in better hands! We will definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone looking for a home-away-from-home for their pups.”

“If I could leave 6 stars, I would. Stephanie has been so caring and attentive with my dog, I haven’t worried for a second about how he’s doing when she’s watching him. He’s been getting great exercise too and comes home exhausted. Her kids have been awesome with him too, to the point I think he’d have preferred staying with them vs coming home with me!”

“We were so fortunate to have Courtney watch our Maggie this past Thursday and Friday. She was so good with our little girl since this was the first time she stayed with anyone other than my daughter. She was scared at first and Courtney sent the cutest picture of her in her lap as her co-worker. We are very pleased in how well she loved our little girl as much as we do. I would highly recommend her to everyone. Thanks again Courtney. Five plus stars for sure. 😊😋”

“I cannot say enough good things about Tom! He took our puppy on long morning hikes and sent us lots of pictures and updates about how she was doing. He has a huge beautiful yard that is perfect for pups! Tom was so flexible when our plans changed several times and went out of his way to accommodate us. Our pups tail starts wagging as soon as we pull up to his house. You can tell she has a great time with Tom! I highly recommend and will use again!!!!!!!!”

“Stephanie was a new experience with several dogs in the home. Cuddy was a little shy but warmed up to them and Stephenie's family. Cuddy was happy to see her each morning - learning a new routine. We will definitely return when in Arizona and in need of a Rover.”

I highly appreciate Summer being willing to watch Zero while I was out of town for two days. She was willing to work with me to accommodate my schedule and was happy to take him along for some of her prior engagements. Zero was happy and appeared well cared for when I picked him up.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
