“This was the first time my husband and I have left our fur babies with anyone but a family member or friend, and we are so pleased with our experience! Alanna was kind and professional from the very start. She alleviated any concerns and answered any questions we had for her. She not only came over once prior to our booking, but twice, to ensure the dogs remembered her and were comfortable. Aside from the care she took on our animals, she respected our home while she stayed there with them! It was as clean, or cleaner, than how we left it and we got daily updates and pics and more if requested. We look forward to booking Alanna again for any future dog sitting!”

“Ava was reliable, communicative, and I couldn’t be happier with the care my pets received! She was reliable, communicative, and clearly genuinely cared about my dog. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. Tofu was happy and well cared for when I returned. It’s such a relief to find someone trustworthy and attentive, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional pet sitter.”

“Camryn was absolutely amazing while caring for our dog, Daisy! She kept us updated throughout the entire stay, sent plenty of pictures, and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear from every update that Daisy was happy, comfortable, and very well cared for. Camryn went above and beyond, and you can truly tell she loves animals and takes her responsibilities seriously. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for pup, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!”

“Kailey stayed and checked on our pup and cat at least 3 times a day and stayed overnight with them as well. We came home to a clean house and a happy puppy and would book her again!”

“I’ve been using rover for a couple of years now and Raquel has been by far the best in both communication and loving on my pups! I received multiple pictures throughout the day and always felt at ease while out of town. Highly recommend!”

“Tarah is very personable and we were able to meet with her a couple times before she stayed with our dogs so they had a chance to get used to her. She kept in communication with us while we were gone with updates and pictures of our pups. Very happy with her service and would recommend her.”

“I had a great first experience using Dorianne as a house/dog sitter. It was my first time being apart from Beans and she made the experience stress free! She was responsive, respectful of my house and instructions and Beans loved her! Will definitely be using her in the future!”

“We have been looking for that PERFECT sitter for our boy for several years now. After reaching out to our go to sitters and all of them being busy, we took a chance and contacted Karen. We were her first customers on Rover. All I can say is what a Blessing! Karen went above and beyond! Our boy was so well taken care of! I would highly recommend Karen. She is an amazing sitter. She is our new “go to”. Sitter. (I told her I didn’t want to leave a review and wanted to be selfish and have her for our own!) LOL she is amazing! And highly recommended!”

“Suzy did great! She stayed at our home over night and took care of both the dogs (one big, one small.) Left the house clean and sent pics/checkins each day. Will book again.”

I can’t say enough about Raquel. She is a top notch dog sitter. She stayed at my house for 8 hours of puppy sitting my 13 week old lil Peanut and was attentive to all his puppy needs. She also is the best with consistent communication and picture updates. I’d recommend her to anyone looking for the best puppy care!

5/5 Stars Martha was an absolute gem! This was my first time using a sitter at my home, and she completely put my mind at ease. She took wonderful care of my dog right in my home, providing consistent updates and adorable pictures throughout. The level of care and attention she showed was truly appreciated and went above and beyond. I couldn’t thank her enough for how well she handled everything. I’ll definitely be reaching out to Martha again for any future travel plans! Highly recommend! 🐾

Sade was so wonderful with our pup. She was probably the most patient I've seen anyone with him (think, full on puppy, lol), made sure he was fed on time, and gave him plenty of attention and exercise. Thank you so much, Sade! We'd love to book with you again;)

This is the first time we’ve used rover and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Annaluisa was amazing with our pups, she sent updates and pictures daily and everything was perfect when we returned home. She’s amazing and one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet, great experience!

Karen took such wonderful care of our fur babies while we were out of town. They absolutely love her. During the meet and greet they took to her like she was part of the family. She has a spirit that makes the animals comfortable immediately. She started sending us photos not long after we left putting us at ease right away and she continued to send photos and videos while we were away. Her communication is amazing. We didn't have one worry while we were gone and think she and our pets had more fun than we did. We will definitely use Karen any time we need someone to watch our animals.

I had to plan a trip on very short notice. Erin was prompt with her response and I’m so glad she was! I had never left my pups with anyone for that length of time and was a nervous wreck! She was able to schedule a meet and greet within an hour, and my dogs took to her and her son right away. I received updates and pics daily and Luna and Leroy had a blast with her and her son Brixton. She went above and beyond… even took out the trash, loaded and started the dishwasher and picked up the dog’s mess in the backyard. I can’t say enough amazing things about her! I will definitely be reaching out again when I have another trip. Thank you Erin and Brixton for taking such good care of my babies while I was away 🤗

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 3,258 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Queen Creek. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Queen Creek walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Queen Creek maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Queen Creek choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Queen Creek. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
