“Thank you for taking such good care of Carleigh! We didn’t have a second of worry. Thank you for leaving our house so clean … hardly a trace that you were there. We’ll be in touch for our next no-dog vacation. Thank you for making this so easy and stress free!”

“Mia is amazing she is my go to and always takes good care of my animals and is clean! It’s a relief being able to leave my animals at home instead of boarding them. She is definitely trustworthy and will be who with book with moving forward”

“Leslie is amazing and Oscar absolutely loves her. She leaves the house super clean and we have no worries that everything is in order and taken care of while we are gone. Can’t say enough good things about her!”

“I always get stressed out when I have to leave my pets but once I met Mackenzie I knew I wouldn't have to worry. She is just the sweetest and my dog loved her. She sent lots of pictures which I appreciated so much. I would highly recommend Mackenzie and would definitely use her again.”

About: I stand out by not just watching your furbaby, but having a fun time with your furry companion. My attention to detail, genuine love for all animals, and a commitment to open communication create a stress-free experience for both you and your furry family member. I do have a morning job but they're only a few hours so my schedule is very flexible and accommodating especially for any overnight dog sitting. I live in an apartment but we have LARGE GRASSY AREA and a DOG PARK for the pups to play! Also most of the place has hardwood flooring so no need to worry if there's any potty accidents. I love dogs so much that I currently have 1 dog, she's a German Shepherd but she's very welled trained and can give your companion some company. I love taking care of young and old pups as well! FOR BOARDING AT MY HOME: Your fur baby must be comfortable with dogs and be okay with cats! I do have 2 cats that love to roam around, if you're dog isn't comfortable with cats or you're unsure please message me and we can figure something out together :)
“Rachael was an absolute blessing for us! She remained active with our dogs and gave them (and our fish) so much attention in our absence. She actually spoiled our family so much that I’m already dreading the thought of her being booked during our future vacations. If you’re looking for the perfect person to watch your pets/house while you’re away, look no further!”

“I feel like I just struck gold! My dogs are my kids and as anyone would be, I was a little apprehensive of having someone I didn't know stay in my home. Mallory was absolutely AMAZING! I have 2 doodles under the age of 2 and she cared for them so well and followed our routine as best possible, even though I didn't expect her to. I also have 2 kitties at home but, it was a short trip so no real need there but, she loved them just the same. I felt 100% at ease with Mallory looking after my guys. My neighbor saw her out with one of the pups and she text me telling me I "scored" with this sitter ;-) She was super communicative and left my house better than when I left. If you are looking for someone to watch after your furry friends Mallory's you're person! I kinda didn't want to leave this review as I want her to myself but, she deserves it 1000%”

“Wonderful experience. She was always on time, professional, and I felt at ease knowing my pets were being well cared for. She sent pictures and updates often. She even did more than I asked of her; so thankful! Highly recommend!”

“Rylie was a great dog sitter, would definitely book her again in the future! I had a lot of anxiety leaving my dog as I haven’t traveled without him in over a year and she took very good care of him while I was gone!”

“Daniel is fantastic, thoughtful and very caring. He communicates clearly, sending photos of our cat, giving us comfort knowing our elderly cat (Marbles) is being cared for with great attention to the cat's needs. Marbles is 18 years old and quite arthritic. Marbles needs supplements daily and is quite picky about his water. Thanks to Daniel I can travel without constant worry about Marbles and if he is getting the care he needs.”

“Sandy was awesome! She communicated well and made me feel very comfortable while I was away. She gave me updates often, and left details of her stay with our boys. Our apartment was just the way we left it. I highly recommend Sandy for any dog sitting/care needs. Thank you Sandy! I hope to book with you again in the future :)”

“Kathryn did an amazing job! We have a brand new puppy and it was great knowing he was in such thoughtful and capable hands. We got lots of texts, photos and videos throughout the day. I would love to have Kathryn sit for us again soon!”

“It was our first time having Emily watch our babies, and all three of them (two cats and one dog) adored her! One of the cats, who’s not a fan of cuddles or being too close to people, especially loved giving Emily love. I got many pictures of Cheeto showing Emily attention. She was wonderful, sending pictures and checking in often, and she kept everything spotless. We decided to extend our trip by four days, and she was so flexible that she could stay longer. We’re definitely planning to have Emily come again!”

“Savannah was great! We received photos daily and I knew our girl was in great hands. We came back and our house was in clean condition and dog bedding washed and our Marla was happy. All we can hope for! Thank you again!”

“riana was a fantastic sitter who took exceptional care of our senior dog, cat, and fish. She provided regular updates with pictures and created a happy environment for all our pets. Her communication throughout the sitting experience was exceptional. She also took excellent care of our home, leaving it spotless. We highly recommend Ariana!”

About: Hi! I have 2 years of professional dog training experience and many years of house/pet sitting from farm animals to house pets. I’ve worked hands on with dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, personalities, and training levels, so I’m comfortable caring for everything. I’m comfortable reinforcing existing training and routines while you’re away, and strive to care for pets in their own environment and keep their normal routines as consistent as possible. I know how important it is to have someone you can genuinely trust with both your pets and your home! I have two horses, two dogs & a cat myself! Pet care is my full time job, so my schedule is very flexible and I’m able to plan my day around your pet’s needs and normal routine. My only regular commitment is spending a few hours at the barn each day, and I have flexibility with when I go. I follow your instructions closely for feeding, walks, medications, training, playtime, and any other individual needs. I’ll also treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own, so you can have peace of mind while you’re away!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Chandler
Carol was so incredible to our pup. He’s an anxious one, she was so patient with him, met him where he was at, had great instincts with acknowledging his boundaries (better than us apparently!!), and was great at communicating back to us. You can tell she has a lot of experience with pets and knows how to approach many different types of pet personalities! She not only took great care of our dog but our home as well. It looked just as clean if not cleaner when we got home from our trip. Would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to have their pet in good hands. We would use her again in a heartbeat! ♥️

Nicole took such good care of my pup. He had so much fun cuddling and playing in his own house at night and spending some time with the other dogs at doggie daycare during the day. I honestly think he was a little disappointed when we came home as his daily walk ratio decreased. Would absolutely trust Nicole and her partner with my pet and my house again.

This was the first time Ariana watched my dog Libby. She took care of Libby in my home. I was so impressed with Ariana‘s great communication, care provided to Libby, and how much she respected my home by leaving it just like I left it. While she was staying at my house, we got a bad storm, and my neighbors tree branch fell on my roof. Ariana took great pictures and informed me right away of what was going on. I was so impressed with Ariana and I will for sure ask her to care for Libby again. Thanks again, Ariana! 💕

Cat was incredible with our anxious dog Marley! She took great care of our home and very attached pup. She was patient and eventually Marley warmed up to her, and I think even missed her when we got home. Very appreciative for her care and attention to her needs while we were gone.

Courtney did a great job house sitting with our 2 dogs (which included an 8 month old puppy)! She provided daily updates and pictures of our 2 fur babies which helped to ease our minds during our time away. This was the 1st time using Rover and leaving our puppy in the care of someone other than family and we couldn’t be happier! Our experience was much better than leaving our pups at a facility. In the past we would board them at “one of those places” they’d be stuck in an enclosure and come home hoarse from barking nonstop! I would highly recommend Courtney and won’t hesitate to rebook with her in the future. Thank you, Courtney!!

Jack stayed at our home and pet sat for 8 of our pets (cats and dogs) for an extended period and he’s been absolutely fantastic. He provided daily updates and photos, was very respectful towards our home and super responsible and responsive overall. All of our pets got very comfortable with him during the stay and the care and love he gave them shows clearly. This was a huge stress off of our plate. We have found our long term sitter in Jack and highly recommend him!
Olivia did such a wonderful job staying with and taking care of my dog. She was communicative, sent great pictures and took care to make sure she ate well. She seemed to not just do what she needed, but enjoy time with my dog too. I appreciated all she did and would definitely recommend her as a caring pet sitter.

Marimar was an amazing pet sitter and took excellent care of my dog! She provided daily updates, which I really appreciated, and gave me peace of mind while I was away. She also left my home clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!

Josh was very kind and respectful of our home and to our dog, Bear. He made sure to follow the instructions we left him and was communicative while we were out of town. We are very happy we could leave our shy and anxious dog with someone who is so patient and understanding. We definitely look forward to seeing Josh again.

Zach was Awesome! This was our first time using Rover and we were nervous but quickly felt assured by how great Zach was with our 3 dogs. Zach kept us updated throughout our trip which allowed us to know they were in good hands and let us really enjoy the trip without any worries about the pups. He had his hands full with our two crazy younger pups and our senior girl but he handle their distinct needs perfectly. He made sure our senior girl who has a CCL tear got all her meds and some gentle exercise. He made sure the younger pups got lots of playtime and attention. He left our house in better state than we left it. Will definitely be using Zach again for future trips!

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of September 2026, there are 4,587 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Chandler. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Chandler walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Chandler maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Chandler choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
