“Alex is awesome! Our family had to go out of town for couple days and first time to be away without my dog. I was glad to found Alex to take care my dog Mochi. Alex would always send updates on what Mochi is doing, so I would not worry and felt at ease. Thank You Alex!”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – Wonderful Cat Care! Erica’s took after my cat for two weeks, and it was one of the best pet-boarding experiences I’ve had. Erica was always responsive—responding quickly, and always with such a kind and reassuring tone. She sent updates with photos, which made being away from my cat so much easier knowing exactly how things were going. What really stood out was her flexibility and patience. I had a last-minute schedule change, and Erica handled it with zero stress and complete professionalism. She adapted seamlessly and never made me feel like I was being difficult. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, communicative, patient, and caring, look no further! Highly recommend! Thank you so much, Erica! 🐾❤️”

About: Hi! Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started caring for animals at a young age, was involved in FFA, and later worked for a veterinarian, where I gained hands-on experience with a wide range of dogs and situations. I also foster for a Labrador Retriever rescue, which has given me experience with dogs of all personalities — from confident and playful to shy and unsure. I have two dogs of my own: Griffin, my 14-year-old Lab who I’ve raised since he was a puppy, and Mia, my Golden Retriever who joined our family three years ago. Having a senior dog has taught me how important patience, routine, and gentle care are. Your dog will be treated like one of my own — with lots of love, attention, and care. I work a full time job just five minutes from home. My dog comes to work with me and yours can too. I am only available for pet care in my home. Your dog’s safety is very important to me. I have a secure, fenced yard and a doggie door so they can move comfortably between indoors and outdoors. There is also a swimming pool for dogs who love the water, and I always supervise closely anytime dogs are near the pool.
“Cindy is a great sitter and really understands our fuball’s routines. Gus has IVDD, needs eye drops 3x per day and lots of love and attention - Cindy helps in all these areas!”

“Kameron took such good care of our dog! She is responsive, prompt, and kept us updated with photos, which gave us complete peace of mind. We knew our pup was in great hands, and we’d definitely love to book with her again.”

“We couldn't have asked for a better pet sitter! Our dog is naturally very nervous and anxious around new people, so we were worried about leaving him. From the very beginning, it was clear that our sitter was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding. They took the time to earn his trust, followed his routine carefully, and made him feel safe and comfortable. We received regular updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. Seeing our anxious pup relaxed and even enjoying himself was the best reassurance we could have hoped for. It truly takes a special person to care for a dog with anxiety, and they exceeded all our expectations. We are so grateful for the exceptional care and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone, especially those with shy, nervous, or anxious pets. We will absolutely be booking with them again!”

“Joelle and her family are so sweet and took great care of our girls while we were out of the country. We appreciate the consistent communication, lots of photos, and honest feedback of their behavior upon pickup. Thanks again!!”

“Just picked up my boy from a weekend of absolute fun with Amber! This was my first time boarding him and I could not be happier with how things went. I loved all the pictures and videos ❤️❤️”

Ariana was one of the best sitters Georgia has ever had! She was so responsive, sent us so many pictures, and Georgia just absolutely loved her! We have definitely found our go-to and absolute star sitter! We are so lucky to have found Ariana and was lucky to have Georgia under her excellent care! We didn’t worry about a thing! Ariana has a client for life now!

Nicole and Rose looked after my dog, Peanut, for 7 days and I couldnt be happier with the results. My dog is a rescue and very anxious. Shes stayed in doggie hotels in the past and other sitters Ive found on Rover but shes always came back home slightly regressed (more anxious or forgot her training). But this time its like nothing has changed. Peanut warmed up to Nicole and Rose by 2 day which was very surprising. Moving forward, if I ever need someone to watch Peanut I know who to contact.

Brooke is awesome! She took the best care of our sweet Lilah! This was Lilah's first overnight stay with a sitter, and Brooke made sure she was comfortable and happy! She sent pictures and gave us updates on Lilah. She even tried to hand feed Lilah when she wouldn't eat. She's someone who truly loves animals! It was such a great experience! We'll definitely book with Brooke again!! ☺️❤️

There are a lot of great sitters out there, but Kathy is the best! (Selfishly I don't want to admit that, because I know her calendar will start filling up quickly as soon as people realize that ...) Our little guy was loved and (almost) as happy as he is when he's at home. He can't wait to go back. She was great to work with all around, with lots of photos and updates during our trip. We are so thankful we found her.

Cynthia is amazing! She took great care of my dog, Poppie, and made sure she was eating well during her boarding stay. She kept me updated with photos, took her on walks at the park. I highly recommend Cynthia to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive pet sitter!

Alexis was able to board our 4 cats last minute for one night because of an emergency inspection at our home. He made sure to keep us up to date with anything going on with our kitties. We also have one VERY anxious cat and Alexis was able to crate him with no issues, Alexis made this boarding so easy for our first time and we will definitely be booking Alexis again in the future!

Brittany and her family were awesome! My dog, Bentley, is a 1/2 chihuahua 18lb nervous scardy-cat and yet he had a great time with Brittany! He kept up his couch potato routine with her kids and was very well taken care of! She sent me at least one picture each day and I could tell that my dog was relaxed and happy! It just made it so much easier for me to go away and visit family, knowing that my little dog was being well cared for. I would recommend Brittany to anyone looking for a wonderful environment to babysit their dog! And I look forward to using Brittany again in September when we go away to Texas for another family visit. Thank you, Brittany!!!!

This was a last minute booking and they were amazing!!! Our little Zoey was a bit nervous at first but she warmed up so quickly and they gave me constant updates on how she was doing. She fit in so well with them and came home the happiest pup. 🐶 ♥️ We will definitely be using them again!!!

It was the first time we used Rover and we are simply so happy to have worked with Danielle! She is just wonderful! While we were traveling overseas, Danielle would give us regular updates with pictures and videos! Our dog Poppy was very skittish from lack of socialization, but Danielle has been so patient working with her; when we came back, she is behaving so much better around other dogs! Danielle is also very flexible when we had to change our travel plan half way through. We would recommend her to anyone who needs reliable service to take care of their dogs. Thank you Danielle!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
