“Curtis and Family did an amazing job taking care of my 2 pups. The entire family was very kind and got more socializing done with my 2 pups than what I was able to do with them in the two years that I've had them. They provided updates and pics of my pups while they were there. Will definitely be bringing my dogs back to them if we're back in town. Thanks again for everything.”

“Brandon is amazing! Can’t recommend more. Great communication and kept me updated with so many photos. My dog was so peaceful and relaxed on the way home, you could tell he was well cared for and felt right at home.”

About: Hi! I’m Jenna, and I’d love to care for your little pup while you’re away. I have over 30 years of experience with small dogs. As the proud dog mom of a sweet Havanese named Bailey, I know our dogs aren’t “just pets”, they’re family. 🩵 I also know how much trust it takes to leave them in someone else’s care, which is why I treat every dog who stays with me with the same kindness, patience, and attention I’d want for my own. I intentionally care for small dogs because I believe they thrive in a calm, home environment. Rather than a busy, high-volume setting, my goal is to provide personalized attention so each pup feels safe, comfortable, and truly at home. I’ll follow your routine as closely as possible: from feeding schedules and walks to favorite toys and bedtime habits. My goal is to make their stay feel familiar and stress-free. You’ll receive regular photo and message updates because I know how comforting it is to see your best friend happy and well cared for. I can’t wait to meet you and your little one and provide a safe, loving home away from home. Every dog is unique, so I’ll follow your routine as closely as possible; from feeding schedules and walks to favorite toys, medications (if needed), and bedtime habits. My goal is to make your dog’s stay feel as familiar and stress-free as possible. Because I’m home full-time, your dog will rarely be left alone and will have plenty of companionship, supervision, and care throughout the day. I’ll also send regular photo and message updates so you can relax knowing your furry family member is happy, safe, and well cared for. 🩵 I keep my bookings limited so every dog receives the time, attention, and care they deserve. I specialize exclusively in small dogs because I believe they thrive in a calm, safe environment where they can feel comfortable and relaxed. I keep boarding intentionally low-key so your pup has plenty of time for play, naps, cuddles (if they’re the cuddly type!), and simply being part of our family while you’re away. I have a fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor time and share my home with Bailey, my sweet 10-year-old Havanese. Bailey has a gentle personality and enjoys the company of other small dogs. My home is quiet with no children, which helps create a calm environment for dogs who prefer a more peaceful setting.
“This was the first time Chico and Chester were away from home, and Christian and Hana did an awesome job helping them go from scared and anxious to totally cuddly and comfy. Drop-off and pickup were super easy since they’re not too far from the airport. We left a list of special instructions, and they handled everything without any issues. They sent us picture updates of Chico and Chester before we even asked, which we really appreciated. Our pups settled in like they were part of the family, went on regular walks to the nearby park, and even enjoyed hanging out with Christian and Hana’s little girl. No doubt—we’ll definitely bring Chico and Chester back next time we travel. Thanks Christian and Hana!!”

“Zach and Maddie were the absolute best! From the moment I met them I knew my dog was in great hands. They are genuine dog lovers. I got lots of updates while I was away. It was such a relief being gone for a week and not having to worry about my dog. They even took him on a picnic! 10/10. Highly recommend.”

“Darbi and Nate were great! We had a few schedule changes post-booking and they were so flexible and accommodating. They took Finny in and just loved on him so much! Sent updates and pictures which was great! In fact…we’re convinced that the poor dog is mad we brought him home 😂 Highly recommend!!”

“David was so great to Rudy & Leahy. He communicated well, took phenomenal care of them (multiple walks daily) and gave them all the puppy love! I will request David to watch them every time moving forward. He is a great guy who cares about your animals like they are his own.”

“Richard was great! He watched our dog on short notice, sent lots of updates & photos and had a pup friendly home. Would definitely use him again!”

“Sure — here’s a more straightforward, clean version: Matthew and Rebecca took great care of my two Shih Tzus while we were traveling. They were reliable, communicative, and clearly attentive to the dogs’ needs. I felt comfortable knowing my dogs were in good hands, and I came home to two happy, well-cared-for pups. I would gladly trust them again and recommend them to anyone needing dependable pet care.”

“I had a great experience! He was incredibly patient with my dog and kept me updated with great communication throughout the entire stay, which really put my mind at ease. He was also very kind about doing a meet and greet beforehand since I was nervous about leaving my dog with someone new. I’m so glad I found someone my dog feels comfortable with, and I feel confident leaving my dog in his care. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter!”

“Coco had a wonderful stay with Melissa and her family! Melissa was very accommodating when I realised I messed up the dates I needed and booked June instead of July, we kept the booked for this past weekend and also rebooked for July! ?. Thanks Melissa!”

“Rachel was excellent! Very responsive, followed all instructions, sent lots of photos, and took great care of my special little boy! Highly recommend for anyone needing a pet sitter in the area!”

“Lorinda was great! She sent me lots of updates and pictures of how my dog was doing and I could tell she had a lot of fun. Would definitely use Lorinda again :)”

“Gabriela was great! She was very friendly and followed all instructions. Great communication and sent lots of pictures of my dog Louie! Will definitely book with her again.”

“Jessica was incredible with my two girls and made sure they felt right at home! She learned some habits and attitudes ahead of time and made plans to ensure they had fun and relaxed! I felt safe and comfortable having my girls with her and will use her again anytime she’s available!”

“Ashley was an excellent sitter! It was my first time using her, and the meet and greet went well. My pup stayed with her for a week and she was very responsive, and communicated really well. I felt like she genuinely cared about my dog and he seemed well taken care of. Would highly recommend.”

“Celeste was awesome sauce. Very attentive with Mathius and if he's happy so I'm I. Great with communication and also accommodating with times for drop and pick. Thanks J. Scott”

“Kaitlin was the BEST! Don’t hesitate to book with her! She was perfect for our pup and her dog Koko was the perfect playmate for her. Her updates and obvious love for dogs is so obvious. We will be sure to rebook with her in the future. I have never had my dog come home with all her food gone - she usually doesn’t eat well when we are away… BUT she came home with everything gone which shows how comfortable she was there. Kaitlin is amazing in every way! :)”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Scottsdale
Accepted a last minute booking ahead of our trip. Handled both our dogs with care and sent pictures and videos often so we knew they were okay. It was amazing to have peace of mind during our trip. We were especially worried about our more nervous dog, but he warmed up so quickly to them and had a good time. It was our first time using Rover, it was a great experience. Would book with them again :)

Kim was amazing and I can’t thank her enough! Our regular sitter had to cancel on us and she took in our three dogs (including our 1 yo puppy) after a meet a great at the last minute. She was very patient and understanding with our puppy and his potty training challenges (aka accidents) and took care of our elderly dogs like they were her own. So very happy we found Kim and would not only recommend but would book again in an instant if she will have us! :)

Alysha and her kids are absolutely amazing! They took such wonderful care of Stormi while we were away on our long trip, and I truly felt like my baby was having the best time with them. They didn’t just take care of her—they made her feel right at home and treated her like part of the family. I loved receiving all the updates and seeing how happy and comfortable she was throughout the week. I’m sure Stormi can’t wait to go back! 😊

This was our first boarding experience with Milo, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Milo looked so happy and comfortable throughout his stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. We received daily updates with photos and videos, and it was clear that he was being well cared for and getting lots of attention. We truly appreciated the communication and kindness. We would absolutely book with them again if they continue offering boarding services. Highly recommended!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
