Since Moose occasionally communicates through interpretive dance and questionable life choices, I relayed the detailed care instructions. Julie took it all in stride. Every day she sent adorable pictures along with a little update about what Moose had been up to. It was such a comfort knowing he wasn’t just being watched—he was genuinely being cared for and enjoying himself. Those daily updates made being away so much easier. When we picked him up, he was happy, confident, and his delightfully goofy self. He looked like he’d had his own little vacation. That’s exactly what every dog owner hopes for. We’ll absolutely be booking with Julie again. It’s not easy to find someone you trust with your favorite four-legged family member, but Julie made that part easy. About: Hi there! My name is Eden, and dogs have been my whole world for years. 🐾 I’m an experienced trainer who also offers safe, structured, and loving boarding in my home. Because of the setup here, pups do need to be comfortable being in a kennel/crate at times. If your dog isn’t fully kennel trained yet (like a young puppy), that’s totally okay — I just ask that they can go into a kennel without any aggressive behavior so everyone stays safe. While your dog is staying with me, they’ll enjoy: ✨ A little bit of training and structure woven into their routine ✨ Learning manners and practicing calm behavior ✨ Daily enrichment and exercise ✨ Plenty of love, playtime, and cuddles ✨ Daily updates so you know how they’re doing My goal is to make boarding feel less stressful and more like a safe, structured staycation where your dog is cared for like family. I work from home training dogs and doing phone consultations, so I’m home the majority of the day with the pups. The only times I’m briefly away are for church on Sunday mornings (about 9:30–10:30) and the gym on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings for about an hour. During those short times, all dogs are safely kenneled with fresh water, A/C, and cameras for monitoring, so they’re always safe and comfortable. Your dog’s safety and comfort come first. I have a secure fenced yard and kennel space in my house. Dogs staying with me do need to be comfortable being kenneled at times, or at least able to go into a kennel without aggression (puppies still learning are absolutely fine!). While boarding here, dogs enjoy structure, manners practice, daily enrichment, exercise, and lots of love — plus daily updates so you feel at ease while you’re away.

I pet-sit for friends frequently and I love all breeds and different types of animals! I work part-time and will be able to spend majority of my time at home with your pet! About: I’ve had a dog most of the first 17 years of my life. My friends ask me to care for their dogs while they’re on vacation or traveling. I bathe dogs as needed, and take them for walks twice a day. I give them lots of love. Dogs really like me. I work from home, but occasionally step away for appointments. I prefer crate trained dogs for while I’m away but always reward them with treats when I get home! I have a comfy place. I take the dogs out for walks at least twice a day, often 3 or more times. And I make sure they have great care, anffection and attention! I have a comfortable home, yet do most of the dog walking in the grass near my condo, or with the permission of the owner, a dog park nearby.

Between all of us, we've raised and loved German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, German Shorthaired Pointers, Goldendoodles, Cockapoos, and Boxer mixes—from energetic puppies to beloved seniors now in their teens. I've spent years helping care for our family dogs and pet sitting whenever friends and family traveled. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone who will make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. “Julie was fantastic with Moose! (The dog… not the giant antlered woodland mammal. Although if she can handle Moose, I have a feeling she’d figure that one out too.) From the minute I dropped him off, I felt completely comfortable leaving him with her. She asked thoughtful questions about his routine, personality, and care, which told me right away she wasn’t just checking boxes—she genuinely wanted to know him. Since Moose occasionally communicates through interpretive dance and questionable life choices, I relayed the detailed care instructions. Julie took it all in stride. Every day she sent adorable pictures along with a little update about what Moose had been up to. It was such a comfort knowing he wasn’t just being watched—he was genuinely being cared for and enjoying himself. Those daily updates made being away so much easier. When we picked him up, he was happy, confident, and his delightfully goofy self. He looked like he’d had his own little vacation. That’s exactly what every dog owner hopes for. We’ll absolutely be booking with Julie again. It’s not easy to find someone you trust with your favorite four-legged family member, but Julie made that part easy. Moose gives her two paws up… and I’d give more if he had them.”

She was welcoming and the experience was positive throughout - even when she told us my dog Sydney was a little homesick. “I was really in a bind, I was in Michigan, and my sister is in Mesa. She needed an overnight dog sitter and couldn't use Rover. I signed up , found James and Erin. I made the arrangements for my sister. Duffy got dropped off. My sister ended up needing surgery so the arrangements had to be extended and they accommodate us in a heartbeat!
