“Kim was fantastic to communicate with. It gave us a peace of mind knowing she has experience with energetic young dogs. Our pup had a great time with her and she gave us consistent check ins and photos. She was flexible, prompt, kind and warm. We highly recommend working with Kim.”

“Bailey does a great job with our senior dog. She is very communicative and keeps us informed. She’s is quick to notice anything that might need attention and goes above and beyond. Most importantly, we get back home to a happy and well cared for fur-baby. 😊”

About: I feel like I have a special gift with animals. Every Furry Friend is different and when their Parents go away they're all going to have their unique needs to make everything okay. I have a genuine love for animals. I stay 100% of the time at your house. Your home becomes my home base. I won't leave for more than 4 hours. I am retired. I can't think of a better way to spend my time than with animals. An extra bonus is being around unconditional love all the time! My experience with overnight care is your pets do so much.better in their own home. Smells, Toys, all their Stuff. I try to stick as close to their normal routine as possible.
“I came back home to a very happy kitty!! I was so nervous to leave Loki for the first time, but Bridget sent me a ton of photos and made me feel at ease throughout my trip. She spent a lot of time playing with him, brushing him, and chilling at his favorite spot on the balcony. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!💗”

“Lauren was fantastic with all of my pups!! Paid great attention to detail and all my pups were so happy to see her. Would highly recommend her to anyone!! thank you so much!!”

“Elisa is amazing!! She was able to take my boy out last minute when I got stuck at work. Such a weight lifted to know she was there to take good care of Richard!!”

About: I've owned my dog, Sparrow, for just over 2 years now. Additionally, I spent most of college watching my friends' pets, taking them out on walks/hikes and providing extended care when they were out of town. I work most days from home allowing me to provide constant care and attention. When your pet is with me they will be constantly cared for and attended to. I have a large fenced backyard giving your pet space to roam and explore safely. My dog Sparrow is very friendly and will love to have a friend to spend time with.
About: I have owned quite a few different animals while growing up. Different breeds of cats and dogs so I think I am pretty well versed in pet care. I am off all summer as I work in education. I will be available pretty much 24/7 in the summer time. This will ensure flexibility in my schedule. I think trust and respect is crucial with a service like this. I need to know that I can trust you and vice versa. I promise to be safe and responsible when working with your pets and within your homes.
“We love Rae! She is so good with our special needs cattle dog and we know she has strong judgment if something unexpected happens (like running into an off-leash dog while on a walk with our sensitive guy). Cannot recommend her enough.”

“Peter was great! He watched our very active, people-focused cat over a long weekend and we came back to a very happy cat! Really good communication, everything. Would definitely recommend!”

“Great help! She was quick to respond to my request to book, came over for a meet and greet, and left great notes about how the visits went. She even went above and beyond, by washing my dog’s bowls and taking out some trash I had put by my back door and forgotten to get to before I left the house. Would absolutely be happy to book again!”

“Claire took wonderful care of my four cats and my fish while I was away. She is extremely patient and detail oriented she always made sure to find my shy, hiding kitties to confirm they were doing well, and she kept an eye on everything in my home to make sure it was all in good shape. I felt very reassured knowing my pets were in such caring hands. Highly recommended!”

About: I’ve been a devoted dog lover and caregiver for most of my life. Since I was 11, I’ve helped raise and care for my family’s dogs, often serving as their primary caregiver when my family traveled. Today, my boyfriend and I are raising our own doodle puppy, who is the center of our world. Caring for animals comes naturally to me, and I treat every pet with the same love, attention, and responsibility that I give my own. I’m currently working part-time and taking a short sabbatical from my full-time role to make the most of a summer filled with travel and exciting adventures. I’m enjoying the flexibility while it lasts and am generally available unless otherwise noted When caring for your pet in your home, I will only access the areas you have designated and will always respect your space and privacy. I understand that inviting someone into your home requires trust, and I take that responsibility seriously. My priority is providing attentive, loving care for your furry family member while treating your home with the same respect I would my own. I am clean, organized, and conscientious, and I will ensure your home is left just as I found it.
About: Our family dog recently passed away. We aren’t ready to get our own dog but love taking care of other dogs like they are our own. We’ve been caring for dogs of all sizes and ages, giving medication and helping with house training. We also know it’s important to follow owners instructions I’ve taken care of and rescued every type of animal imaginable from lizards and birds to dogs and goats. My pitbull mix recently passed away, while I’m not ready for a new dog, I would love to care for others. I work from home so I have plenty of time to spend with a furry friend. I have a large fenced in back yard, there is a pool fence around the pool. Plenty of sidewalks and things to sniff in the neighborhood.
About: I’ve had all sorts of pets throughout my life from dogs to cats to frogs to fish. I take pride in being able to earn your pet’s trust so there is plenty of play and socialization when I visit. I run my own technology business from home so am flexible throughout the week to visit your pet any time of day. Let me know what works for you! I will play with your pet, keep it socially stimulated and ease its anxiety while you’re away. I take pride in keeping things clean and putting your pet’s health and safety first.
About: I have had pets in my home since I was able to walk, growing up with at least 2 dogs and a cat in my home for my entire childhood. I pet-sit for friends frequently and I love all breeds and different types of animals! I work part-time and will be able to spend majority of my time at home with your pet! I also make time to go on walks in the early morning and evening. I have a fenced in backyard, open concept home with tile. I am also located on the greenbelt, perfect for walks, in a residential neighborhood right off Indian school park.

Nicole was wonderful! She was quick to respond, punctual, and made sure my puppy was well taken care of. I received many pictures + videos of them which made me so happy while I was at work. She made sure to go above and beyond by helping train my puppy and reinforcing the things we are teaching him. I would recommend her + will definitely be using again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Scottsdale with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
