About: Hi there! I’m a passionate animal lover with nearly 5 years of pet sitting experience. Starting with friends and coworkers, and growing to include fellow Rover pet parents along the way. Dogs and cats are equally my people, and I genuinely enjoy caring for them like they’re my own. One of the best things I can offer your fur baby is consistency. My steady work schedule gives me the flexibility to keep routines structured and stress-free, which makes a big difference for pets when their humans are away. When I’m not on pet duty, you’ll find me on my yoga mat, at a Pilates class, or out on a long walk. I also love a good happy hour with friends and getting completely hooked on a great TV series (so your pet and I will have plenty of cozy couch time together;) ). I’d love the chance to meet your furry family member and earn your trust the way I have with so many others over the years! My Monday–Friday schedule in Scottsdale (11am–4pm) gives me unhurried mornings and relaxed evenings with plenty of space to be fully present. My days start with a workout and a slow cup of coffee before heading in, and wind down with a long sunset walk, a home-cooked meal, and a good show or book. Weekends are for recharging — poolside in the sun, running errands, and hunting down a new spot for coffee or happy hour. It’s a calm, consistent rhythm, that your pet will fit right into! I’ve stayed in clients’ homes for up to two weeks at a time, caring for their pets and keeping things running smoothly while they’re away. I’m happy to take on some light housekeeping like watering plants, taking our trash/recycling, and keeping track of any packages. I also offer daily drop-ins for feedings, walks, and plenty of good old-fashioned TLC.
“Avery was great! Avery sent me photos of Nikey playing, walking and kept me informed on supplies needed for Nikey while I was gone and she kept me updated on his food while I was away. Thank you Avery.”

“Kim was fantastic to communicate with. It gave us a peace of mind knowing she has experience with energetic young dogs. Our pup had a great time with her and she gave us consistent check ins and photos. She was flexible, prompt, kind and warm. We highly recommend working with Kim.”

“We have not left our kitty at home to be cared for by anyone except family or friends, so I was a bit concerned. I had no need to worry. Estefany took wonderful care of her, sent daily reports, including a photo, and was easy to work with. Communication was great, despite the fact we were half a world away - literally! We will definitely be asking for Estefany for several upcoming trips already planned.”

“Alana did a great job with Nox! She sent me lots of updates and was very responsive. Nox got along with her great. My vacation was extended due to airport delays and she was very flexible about booking additional days to see Nox which was great!”

“Veronika is the best! Very responsive, & always sends me Rover cards, photos & updates while I'm away! I know my Stache is in good hands with Veronika, & can highly recommend! ☺️”

“Without exception, she’s a wonderful and caring dog person. My dog is very shy around new people and she took to Lauren like I’ve never seen. I cannot recommend her enough. Her heart is full of love for doggies thank you thank you thank you”

“Abigail did an amazing job watching Champ again! It was a stressful trip and it was comforting to know that Champ was well take care of. I already booked with Abigail to watch Champ again next month!”

About: I feel like I have a special gift with animals. Every Furry Friend is different and when their Parents go away they're all going to have their unique needs to make everything okay. I have a genuine love for animals. I stay 100% of the time at your house. Your home becomes my home base. I won't leave for more than 4 hours. I am retired. I can't think of a better way to spend my time than with animals. An extra bonus is being around unconditional love all the time! My experience with overnight care is your pets do so much.better in their own home. Smells, Toys, all their Stuff. I try to stick as close to their normal routine as possible.

“Elisa was awesome for taking care of my 2 cats! She made sure to feed them each day & my cats seemed to enjoy her company. Elisa was very accommodating with my travel plans that got rescheduled twice due to the current coronavirus. I’m very thankful I found Elisa!”
“We love Rae! And so does our discerning old cattle dog! She’s been caring for him for years, and we trust her implicitly to adapt if things don’t go as planned (like he refuses to take his meds 🙃).”

About: Since I can remember, I’ve always had an affinity for animals (specifically dogs). I grew up with a wiener dog & Australian Shepard, where I would also spend time caring for the neighbors dogs while they were away. Over the years I have cared for my own pups back home (Daisy Mae & Nugget Blue), along with nannying 2 girls & 4 large dogs. When I lived in Austin, I helped care for one of my favorite ever dogs (Apollo). Currently, I am unemployed looking for remote work. My schedule is highly flexible with the exception of my travels. With good communication, coordinating my calendar for your pet should be a breeze! I will treat your pet as if it were mine. I love a good cuddle & know how important playtime is (and also pottying outside).
About: Our family dog recently passed away. We aren’t ready to get our own dog but love taking care of other dogs like they are our own. We’ve been caring for dogs of all sizes and ages, giving medication and helping with house training. We also know it’s important to follow owners instructions I’ve taken care of and rescued every type of animal imaginable from lizards and birds to dogs and goats. My pitbull mix recently passed away, while I’m not ready for a new dog, I would love to care for others. I work from home so I have plenty of time to spend with a furry friend. I have a large fenced in back yard, there is a pool fence around the pool. Plenty of sidewalks and things to sniff in the neighborhood.
“Teresa is absolutely wonderful. She is kind, patient, and genuinely caring. Her attention to detail and compassion gave me a lot of confidence that Leo was receiving the best possible care while I was away. I can’t recommend her highly enough!”

About: I've been a cat owner for as long as I can remember and have cared for cats since I was little. I currently have two cats of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone who will treat your pets with the same love, patience, and attention they receive at home. For the past three years, I've also provided cat care for friends and family, including feeding, cleaning litter boxes, playtime, and making sure each cat feels comfortable and safe while their owners are away. What sets me apart is that I'm truly a cat person. I understand that every cat has a different personality. Some love attention, while others prefer their space, and I take the time to learn their routines and preferences. Whether your cat is playful, shy, young, or a senior, I'll provide personalized care and regular updates so you can have peace of mind knowing they're in good hands. I work from home full-time with a flexible, remote job. This allows me to provide frequent attention to my cats and the cats I am sitting without leaving them alone for extended periods of time. I have a 2-bedroom apartment, so I make sure to keep new cats separate initially and never leave them unattended at first. I allow a slow introduction so they can become familiar with each other. My two cats are extremely loving and friendly with no aggression issues.
About: Hi, we’re Zach and Maddie! We are true dog lovers! We both grew up with dogs our whole lives and have cared for many others through friends, family, and other clients. That means we’re comfortable with a wide variety of breeds, sizes, ages, personalities, and of course, their favorite scratch spots. We genuinely love being around dogs and miss having them in our daily lives—which is the reason we started Rover! Since we both live together and work from home, your dog gets double the care, attention, and supervision throughout the day—basically 2-for-1 pet care! This also means your dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone during their stay. We live in a spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bath home with a backyard in Scottsdale 85251. We provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, cuddles, and care based on your dog’s routine. We’re reliable, communicative, and always send photos and updates. We’ll treat your pet like our own and make sure they feel right at home! :) We both work from home, so at any given time there’s almost always at least one of us home. Your dog will get plenty of attention and will rarely, if ever, be left alone! All dogs are welcome to hang out wherever they like—whether that’s on the couch, sleeping with us in bed, or anywhere else they feel comfortable! We also have a spacious fenced backyard with a grass area. We keep our home nice and cool, especially during the summer, so you never have to worry about your dog overheating.
About: I’ve taken care of pets for as long as I can remember! I have been a sitter for dogs, cats, and even bearded dragons! I am the ones my friends, family and neighbors call to watch their loved ones, and i am always more than happy to! I am comfortable pet-sitting for any dog at any age (& i have a soft spot for the seniors!!). I am currently working full-time, but my role is hybrid so i am home some days during the week. My schedule is very flexible, and I am available most weeknights and weekends and can absolutely make time during the weekdays. Let’s connect! I live in a spacious apartment in Scottsdale with a roommate who is also a dog lover. I am tucked away in a safe & friendly neighborhood that is very dog-friendly, as people are always out walking their dogs!
“I will definitely be rebooking with Junjie again, my kitten Teddy absolutely loved her and was well taken care of! She provided very thorough notes and details of each visit and was amazing with him. She made sure he was comfortable and well taken care of and I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter!”

“Jennifer was very accommodating! Came to meet our fur baby prior to scheduled appointments so that our cat could feel comfortable with her. She administered intradermal medication that Uli needed for her hyperthyroidism. Would recommend and will use her in the future!”

About: I’ve taken care of my neighbors dogs/cats back home in VA and here in AZ while I was a student, I lovee going on walks, and I love the heat! I’m a graduate student and student assistant coach for the ASU Women’s Lacrosse team. I work with the team in the mornings, which leaves my afternoons, evenings, and Sundays (we practice saturdays) available for pet care. My schedule is consistent, allowing me to provide dependable visits, walks, feedings, playtime, and plenty of attention to your pet while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I treat every pet like they’re my own by following your routine, respecting your home, and keeping you updated with photos and messages throughout each visit. Whether your pet loves to play or prefers a calm environment, I’m happy to match their needs and make sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved while you’re away.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Scottsdale
We’ve had a few Rover people over the last couple years but my boy hasn’t bonded to anyone like he has Michelle. She does such a good job of reading him and what he needs each day instead of just going through the motions and checking boxes off a list. I highly recommend!!!

Nicole was wonderful! She was quick to respond, punctual, and made sure my puppy was well taken care of. I received many pictures + videos of them which made me so happy while I was at work. She made sure to go above and beyond by helping train my puppy and reinforcing the things we are teaching him. I would recommend her + will definitely be using again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Scottsdale with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
