I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my entire life, so caring for animals has always felt natural to me. I’ve trained puppies, managed all kinds of personalities, and I’m comfortable with everything from litter box care and cleaning to playtime and calming anxious pets. I’m patient, observant, and I love learning each pet’s unique quirks, whether that’s a dog who needs a little extra reassurance or a cat who pretends not to like attention (but actually does). I’m also experienced with administering medicine and providing gentle, reliable companionship while you’re away. Your pets deserve someone who truly cares, and that’s the kind of care I bring every time. The latest that I’m available for drop ins is 6:30pm.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I’m experienced with introducing and integrating animals, and I’m completely comfortable keeping pets separated when that’s the safest or most stress-free option. I pay close attention to body language, routines, and energy levels so both cats and dogs feel secure and respected. Whether they’re shy, energetic, or somewhere in between, I’ll follow your instructions closely and create a calm, reliable environment every time I visit.

John is the besttttt. Seriously. It’s hard to trust a stranger with your fur babies, but we felt totally comfortable with John and our nuggets warmed to him right away. It’s obvious he’s a cat person and really cares about each animal. We were so relieved to know our cats had John to take care of them, give meds, and keep them calm and happy while we were gone.
John is great! Super responsive, gives thorough details, and is helpful for monitoring my senior cat’s health while I’m gone. I appreciate his help immensely!
As before, John B was terrific. Not only were six cats cared for and cuddled, but there were no messes left in a week and a half. Thanks for the excellent care.
Once again, John took excellent care of my cat when I traveled out of state. He has been great to work with.
John is always so great with our boiz even with them needing medicine (and one needs an inhaler)! Took great care of them and they were very happy campers when we got back. Would definitely book again!
John did a wonderful job taking care of Rocco. He was always on time according to our agreed schedule and kept me updated regularly, which gave me a lot of peace of mind while we were away. This trip was especially difficult because we had two Frenchies and had to say goodbye to our 10-year-old just two weeks before leaving. Rocco is 7 and had never really been alone, so I was understandably concerned about how he would adjust. John was very good with him, and Rocco seemed to really like and feel comfortable with John. I truly appreciated the extra reassurance John provided during a difficult time for Rocco and for us. I would definitely recommend him and would be happy to have him watch Rocco again.

Schedule
I’m currently working part-time while I’m going back to school. I’ve got plenty of time and a flexible schedule to give your animals the care they need, even if it’s last minute. I work Sunday and Monday but I can check in with your pets before and after work on those days.
