I started with drop-in pet sitting around 12 years old. Sometime in college I picked up overnight pet/house sitting. Before moving to Arizona, I spent many years volunteering for a dog rescue. I also worked for them part time for ~2 years. Starting in 2017, up until I moved out of the state at the end of 2022, my family and I fostered over 150 rescue dogs/cats (mostly litters of puppies). My family back home still continues to foster to this day. With the help of my dog, Izzy, I specialize in training dogs of all ages and socializing puppies. Izzy was raised around our many foster puppies and has a natural ability in socializing dogs and helping them learn and understand social cues. I was raised spending many weekends out on our family farm interacting with our horses, alpaca, goats, chickens, and goats. I love animals of all shapes and sizes and would love to help care for your furry friends.

Emelie is great with our dog Ziggy! She was willing to do a meet and greet with her pup Izzy first and sends us picture updates everyday. We’re super comfortable leaving Ziggy with her and I’m sure he is too!
Sent great pics and messages about how my kitty was doing. Was also willing to water my plants while I was away, which was above and beyond what I could hope for!
Emilie was amazing with Barry! She was so patient and kind. Took him to do all of his favorite things. He loved his time there. 10/10 would recommend!
Emilie has watched my doggo many times, even when my pup was a puppy. Emilie is patient, kind, and attentive to your doggo, and will provide the best care possible. Schedule
At this time, I am mainly available for drop-in only throughout the week and boarding on the weekends. After the holidays, my availability will increase and I will be able to offer boarding throughout the week as long as pets are okay to be left for multiple hours while I am at work. I work fairly closed to home and can do lunch time drop ins on boarders if necessary.

Safety, trust & environment
For drop ins, I am available to let animals out for supervised yard time or do walks depending on the needs of your pet(s). I can also perform any necessary pet related clean up or chores such as accident clean up, scooping litter boxes, or refilling water/food. For boarders, I have a dog and a cat the free roam around my home while I am away and have no problem with house trained pets roaming as well. I can kennel your pet (kennel needs to be provided) or separate them in a room alone, if necessary. I do have an indoor camera to check on the animals throughout the day. I do not have a yard, so for exercise, my dog gets regular walks that any boarders would be included on.

I always try to help your pets relax away from home by doing their favorite things. From long walks to fetch or just cuddling on the couch, we always find a way to have fun.

- I think it is most important to know how your pet likes to show love. If they just want someone to give them pets and cuddles, we will make it happen. If your pet prefers running around and playing, I am happy to accommodate whatever makes your pet most comfortable.
