About: I’ve grown up surrounded by cats, dog and a variety of small furry friends. I am comfortable around animals of all sizes and enjoy learning each animals personality. I have experience with senior pets as well, administering meds and caring for their senior needs. I love happy animals and will do whatever I can to keep their tails wagging. Ever since I was a kid, I always had animals in my life. As a student without animals of my own, I spend most of my time caring for the many animals in my life. Ive never viewed caretaking as a chore and have always enjoyed caring for animals no matter the size. Whether it be outside for a walk or rotting on the couch, being around animals has always brought so much joy into my life Planning is important, especially with high energy animals. Thinking a few steps ahead and understanding each animals unique needs has prepared me to ensure the pets safety as well as my own.
About: Hi, I’m Madison! I’ve had pets my entire life and have been dog walking and pet sitting for over 10 years. I’ve supported my parents, family, and friends by caring for their dogs while they’re out of town, making sure their pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I currently have two cats of my own. One of them loves going on outdoor walks, so I’ve learned how to safely leash train and recognize when conditions are comfortable for a walk versus when it may be unsafe. I understand how important it is to pay attention to weather, surroundings, and each pet’s individual needs. I would love to provide dependable, attentive care for your furry family member! I work in the school setting, so I currently am off for summer so I have plenty of time to care for your dog and your needs! Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities! During walks, I make sure collars and harnesses are properly secured before leaving the home and always use safe, controlled handling. I pay close attention to surroundings, avoid unsafe areas or aggressive dogs, and adjust our route based on weather conditions especially in this summer heat to keep your pup comfortable. I understand that every dog has different energy levels and needs, so I will try to tailor each walk to match their pace whether that’s a slow or a more active walk. I also provide updates and photos so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. I will treat every home with respect and ensure doors are securely locked before leaving. I will care for your dog and home as if it is my own!

About: Grew up with chickens, a horse, cats, and dogs so I have quite the pallet of experience. Started pet sitting last summer with putting signs in neighborhoods to take care of all kinds of pets. Took care of senior dogs to guinea pigs and cared for my own chihuahua who was on medication. Im extremely adaptable to any pet and instructions, and would love for your pet to be my next client! Currently working part-time at Raising Canes and taking online college courses so my schedule is pretty open! I love having variety in my day to day so my schedule is pretty inconsistent in the best way possible so I can work with pretty much whatever you throw at me! “Kayla is absolutely phenomenal! She went above and beyond which made me so relaxed while I was away from my furry kids. They looked relaxed and content with the pictures she sent me. When I arrived home today my home was spotless! Cat dishes clean and I order, no cat litter on floor, cat box cleaned and both me and my husband were beyond happy with the way our cats were treated, how she spent time to play with them and how clean our house was left. About: I’m an animal lover who enjoys caring for dogs of all ages and personalities. I started my own dog walking service in my neighborhood growing up and was always looking for an excuse to "pet that dog." I provide attentive and consistent care and follow routines closely, like feeding schedules and administering medications. I send frequent updates and photos so you always know how your dog is doing. I work part-time and am home most of the week. Dogs are rarely left alone for more than a few hours at a time. I make sure all dogs are comfortable before I leave, and they receive immediate attention when I return. My home has a fully fenced in backyard and access to a nearby park for safe outdoor play. I pay close attention to behavior and communication, so I can respond quickly if a dog needs extra reassurance or care. I have a calm, dog friendly Bengal cat who tends to keep to herself. She has a vertical jungle gym where she can relax and observe from a distance, ensuring a peaceful and stress-free setup for both cats and dogs.

“Once again we trusted Betty with Oliver’s care and she came through! We have never been away from our cat this long before but knew he was in good hands with Betty. She sent us pictures every day and made sure he was well taken care of. We know who to ask for next time we need help with Oliver!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Gilbert
We had a wonderful experience with Jessica! She did an amazing job communicating with us throughout our trip, sending frequent updates and the sweetest pictures of our dogs, which gave us so much peace of mind. She was also incredibly attentive and let us know right away when one of our dogs got a minor injury while playing, keeping us updated and handling the situation with care. Jessica was always quick to respond to our messages and truly made us feel at ease knowing our dogs were in such good hands. We would absolutely trust her to watch our pups again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter!

I cannot say enough about how fantastic Allie and Joey have been. They are responsive, thoughtful, wonderful caretakers who went above and beyond to see that my dogs were looked after while I was away. I have one dog in particular who is fearful/anxious and they took extra steps to gain her trust and set her up for success. I’m very grateful to have connected with them!

Having a family emergency and then you rearranging the schedule to take care of my beautiful pups, Remmy and Picasso. Means the absolute world to me! The beautiful stories you tell with each visit and the beautiful photos that you take of them each day. They are very happy to have you take care of them. Thank you, thank you thank you!

Reyna was absolutely wonderful. We needed a check-in for our dog and cat on short notice and she responded quickly. She was on time, sent us several cute pictures and updated us on how they were doing. Our dog loved her right away and our cat did too, which is unusual for him. We would have Reyna back anytime!

Sage was fabulous! I needed help 3 days in a row and he did more than I expected. Very kind and dependable. He is really good at communicating and reliable, which gave me peace of mind that my dogs would be looked out for while I had hectic work days. My doggies were very happy to be around him and definitely would consider requesting his help again!

Kayla has done an amazing job with our senior dog who has health conditions. He had never had sitters other than family until Kayla. I was concerned he would not warm up to anyone outside of family, but she was very gentle and knew just the right methods to make him feel comfortable. Now he gets so excited when Kayla comes over! She is very caring and trustworthy annd she always provides detailed updates and photos when she visits. Kayla is the absolute best!

Kristy was great! We booked her to watch our dog for a week over Christmas and had a great experience. She was very quick to respond and communicated clearly the entire time we were away. Our initial meet and greet was easy and comfortable, and we really appreciated that she asked ahead of time what kinds of treats our dog liked. She definitely spoiled him, and he was immediately comfortable with her. While we were gone, she stopped by multiple times a day and sent pictures every visit, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. We would absolutely recommend her and will be using her again in the future

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
