“Kristen was amazing! Kristen was really prompt with responding to the request, able to do a meet-and-greet quickly, and was so responsive while I was out of town. She was so good with my cat, Hailey. Hailey is normally really nervous around new people, but she warmed up to Kristen and I got many pictures of Hailey rolling around just being herself. I absolutely recommend using Kristen as a sitter and plan on booking with her again.”

“Olivia did a great job pet sitting for us. She was reliable, attentive, and took excellent care of our pets. She also communicated very well throughout the entire time, keeping us updated and giving us peace of mind while we were away. We would definitely recommend her and would be happy to have her pet sit again.”

About: My family has always had dogs in the house growing up and I happened to get my own 6 years ago his name is Hades! I am currently looking for a job so I have a lot of free time on my hands. I have full availability to watch your fur babies! Unfortunately, I will not be pet sitting at my house as I have a pool in my backyard and don’t have a fence around it therefore accidents could happen. However my dog does know how to swim and takes a dip in the pool quite often. Someone is always home to let him out and in from the backyard. I have been lucky with my dogs being free feeding dogs with self control but I know how to stay on a good food schedule as I’ve done with previous friends/family pet sitting!

About: I’ve had friends, family, and neighbors check on their cats and dogs since I was around 8 years old. I bell trained my puppy for potty training along with the basics such as sit, down, wait, and more. I’ve also administered medications and performed physical therapy exercises for my pet and others. I work from home with a flexible schedule so I’m able to make just about any check-in time work. I prefer to visit mornings and evenings if possible. I have a fenced in yard and large crate for at home care. When I visit I’m happy to give your pets lots of attention, cuddles, and play time.
“Tabbitha took excellent care of my kitties and promptly sent me visit cards with photos each time, which I really appreciated. She is quick to respond to messages and I felt relieved to have someone so caring and conscientious looking after my kids while I was away.”

About: I currently have 3 dogs of my own, and 2 of them were adopted when they were only 6 weeks old. They’re now 6 months old, so I have hands-on experience caring for young puppies and understand the time, patience, and consistency they need every day. I’m used to feeding schedules, potty training, cleaning up after them, supervising playtime, and helping them get comfortable in a home environment. I’ve also helped friends with drop-in dog care and have experience taking care of 2 large dogs. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, refilling water, cleaning up, and making sure dogs get attention and feel safe while their owners are away. I genuinely love animals and always try to care for every dog as if they were my own. My schedule is currently flexible, so I’m available for drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting throughout the week. I’ll keep my calendar updated regularly, and I’m happy to work with your pet’s usual routine whenever possible. I’m not currently offering boarding in my home, but I’m available for house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking. I always try to keep pets comfortable by following their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any household pet-care instructions. I’m also respectful of clients’ homes and make sure everything stays clean, safe, and well cared for while they’re away. I know it can be stressful to leave pets behind, so I’m happy to send photo updates and communicate clearly throughout the stay.

“Marie was such a pleasure to work with! She came over for a meet and greet and took detailed notes on our kitty’s routine. I felt comfortable right away based on the thoroughness of her questions. We received detailed reports after each drop-in and the sweetest photos. It looks like they had a great time together! Would highly recommend”

“Can’t thank Carly enough for getting me out of a last minute jam. She took amazing care of my two pups and did a great job communicating updates. Will definitely use her services again!”

“Alexis responded to all texts and other correspondence in a prompt & professional manner. I know Jack was in great hands while I was away, & she posted many photos of him, which set me at ease. I would definitely rebook with Alexis!”
About: I have cared for my elderly dog for 8 years and I absolutely love all animals! I also have job experience caring for children, making me a responsible and trustworthy sitter. I would be happy to discuss the best suitable time for us! This summer, my work schedule is Monday- Thursday at 10am-2pm (remote). As an Arizona State University student, I flexibly spend my time in Chandler and Tempe! :) I will make sure your pets remain safe and comfortable while you’re away. While sticking close to their routine, I will respect your space and keep everything tidy.
“Maria is amazing with both my cat and dog! She took great care of my cat during the holidays and sent updates from each visit. Both my pets also love her and you can tell she genuinely loves animals.”

“Autumn is great with my two dogs and they are not easy! I have one large breed puppy who is sweet but a handful - especially with other dogs, squirrels, etc... And I have a small breed senior who is blind, has trouble with her back legs, and can sometimes be cranky. Autumn always is willing to give them the individual attention they need and has no problem at all handling them.”

One child has a Goldendoodle and the other one has two smaller mixed dogs. I have a cat living with me for the past 4 years. I love the energy and personality of the dogs. I am working from home and able to take the dogs outside during the breaks or can take care of them in your house. I can also board them in my home for a short time, my cat will have a room of her own during this time. I can't recommend her enough! She took such great care of my dog, Peanut, while I was away for the weekend, and I had complete peace of mind the entire time. She kept me updated with pictures and messages, and it was obvious how much she genuinely cared. Peanut came home happy, relaxed, and so well cared for. It's not easy trusting someone with your dog, but she made the whole experience stress-free. I will absolutely be booking with her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy dog sitter!🫶

I highly recommend booking with Grace! She was very kind, quick to respond to any messages, and most importantly took great care of our dogs. It’s very evident that Grace loves animals and has a passion for being around them. The biggest ringing endorsement I can give is that one of our dogs does not like most people, but she immediately LOVED and trusted Grace.

I cannot recommend my pet sitter highly enough! From the very beginning, she was professional, communicative, and genuinely caring toward my pets. She provided regular updates, photos, and messages, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. What impressed me most was the attention and affection she showed. It was clear that my pets were not just being watched—they were being cared for like family. She was attentive to their routines, needs, and personalities, and I came home to happy, relaxed pets and a spotless home. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, reliable, and truly passionate about animals, look no further. I would gladly book with her again and recommend her to anyone who wants exceptional care for their pets. Five stars all the way!

We are so grateful for Rachel ! We had a last minute booking and she was super communicative about availability and flexibility with our fur babies. She was always updating us on how they were doing during her check ins. Razor and Blueberry absolutely loved her and felt very comfortable with her specially when she brought them some treats!! We will definitely be reaching out again:)

I’m reviewing again after a month of her watching my dog 2-3 days a week because Christal deserves ALL the praise. I genuinely couldn’t ask for a better person to care for my dog when I’m at work. She plays with him, gets him to go potty, feeds him by hand which is so funny, she responds insanely quick, suggests things I should get for my dog, sends me TONS of photos from every visit…in short she does a FANTASTIC job. If you need someone to watch your fur baby while you’re away Christal is the person to ask.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
