About: I've always had a love for animals and have spent years caring for pets of all kinds. I have experience with dogs, cats, hamsters, and even tortoises, which have helped me become comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and care routines. Growing up, before I had pets of my own, I loved helping friends and family care for their pets whenever I had the chance, and spending time with animals has always been something I genuinely enjoy! I also have experience with younger pets. My first dog and cats were all under a year old when I got them, so I am familiar with the extra attention, patience, and care that puppies and kittens need while they're still growing and learning. As a student at ASU, I'm not able to have a pet of my own right now, which is one of the reasons I joined Rover! I really miss being around animals and would love the opportunity to care for your pets while giving them lots of attention, companionship, and affection. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I will always treat them like family, while making sure you feel comfortable and updated while they're in my care! 🐾 I am currently on summer break from ASU and not working another job, so I have very open availability throughout the week. I am flexible with scheduling and available most days, which allows me to give pets consistent attention and care. I am happy to work around what best fits your pet's routine and needs! I do not currently have pets of my own, but I have previous experience caring for both dogs and cats. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for every pet I care for. With dogs, I enjoy taking them of walks and making sure they get proper exercise and stimulation. With all animals, I focus on reading their energy and making sure they feel comfortable and happy no matter what mood they're in. I always aim to treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure they feel safe and cared for in any setting.
About: I know how scary it is to entrust others with your pets, especially if you are like me and have an anxious/reactive pet. I volunteer with a local shelter, and they've taught me so much when it comes to minimizing stress in animals as much as possible. I will treat your pets like I treat my own, with a focus on comfort, reducing stress, and respecting boundaries in what your pet might find to be a new or scary situation. I currently work from home with a flexible schedule, so any time not spent with my own pets or volunteering at the animal shelter I can dedicate to caring for your pet! I have a fenced yard, dog crates, and even a dedicated "pet room" in my home. I also like to use the vertical space for my cats and give them lots of shelving and perches for them to climb and view the windows.
About: I love animals so much! I grew up around BIG dogs, smol dogs, cats, and birds. I've taken care of dogs of all types since I was a kid and I have been the go-to sitter/walker/drop in and hangout guy when my family or friends are out of town or stuck at the office late. I had a beautiful pitbull named, Artemis, who sadly passed away from cancer. She was my everything. Now, I have a bearded dragon named, Vermithor. I would take care of your animal(s) as if they were my own. I am energetic, playful, attentive, patient, and caring. I would treat you, your house, and your animals with the upmost respect. ***Rover does not have an option for other animals besides cats and dogs for care giving, so if you would like my assistance with any scaley, fishy, or winged family members then please message me to let me know what kind of family member you have and I will gladly help out<3 We would just have to use Zelle*** I am an Army Veteran working on getting my 2nd Associates Degree. Right now I am on summer break so that means my availability is wide open! If you have a fenced yard, I would let them out and be outside with them until they were done. If you don't have a yard, I would put their harness and leash on them so that we could stroll around outside. If they have a kennel, I would let them out and put them back in. If you have multiple dogs, I also have experience with feeding them in different rooms so that they do not fight over their food (if your dogs are like that). I am excellent at following any instructions left for me.
About: I have had dogs since I was 10 years old. I also dog sat for my neighbors, family, and friends. Anything your pet needs, I’ll try my best to provide! I currently am working full time at Chase Bank. I am gone from the hours of 9 am to 6 pm! I get up early in the morning and go on a walk myself and then another when I get home from work! I do not have a yard but I fenced in grass areas near my apartment to take your dog out to play and go potty. If you’re more comfortable with your pet staying home and me coming to check on them there I am more than willing to do that!
About: I've grown my whole life with animals ranging from rabbits to rats to cats to dogs to horses and sheep! Between helping with the family ranch and helping friends, I'm quite confident in my ability to meet your needs as a customer and friend. Whatever you need, I will provide. I am free all days of week to tend to your furry (or not so furry) friends. My schedule is open and I'm willing to travel to meet you where you need me the most. I follow institutions well and take time to get to know you and your animals. I like to keep a close eye on our friends when possible to make sure they keep out of trouble, and am not afraid to pry their mouths open if something sneaks its way into places it shouldn't <3
“Teresa was so patient with some of the hiccups of getting through property gate, and then door code not working… and, saved us by taking on helping us with a last minute request. We will definitely reach out to Teresa again in the future :)”

About: I’ve had pets my entire life. My family had a two high energy dogs growing up and even from a young age I would enjoy caring for the two of them. After they passed, I volunteered at my local humane society, working mainly with dogs. When I was about 17, I convinced my family to adopt a puppy. I taught him basic commands, potty training, and basic leash skills. I currently own a cat who is equal parts sweetheart and menace. Being tasked with raising a kitten turned out to have a massive learning curve, but he is absolutely spoiled with playtime, toys, and treats. He is currently being leash trained and we’re working on anxiety associated with his crate. I have a PRN position at a children’s hospital, so I have plenty of time to check in on your baby/babies. I work a short Monday shift from 12-4PM. I have a hybrid pharmacy schedule, so I am able to attend classes from wherever I am. I care for all pets with love and respect. The main goal is to establish trust with new pets by allowing them to approach me with interest on their own terms, even if it takes a while. Providing pets with playtime and attention is a priority after their daily basic needs are met. I believe in gentle correction or making an activity more interesting with treats or a favorite toy when a pet is acting up or disinterested.
“Taylor was able to cover a few days of walks for me while my regular rover was out of town. She checked in with me and made sure I knew when she was on her way to take care of my dog, which I really appreciated. She was a great help.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for over many years and genuinely love spending time with animals. I’ve helped care for pets belonging to family, friends, and neighbors by feeding them, taking them on walks, playing with them, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so I always take the time to follow each owner’s instructions carefully. As someone pursuing a career in education, I’m patient, dependable, and attentive, and I’ll treat your pet with the same love and care I would my own. I’m currently flexible and have a schedule that allows me to provide reliable pet care throughout the week. Whether your pet needs walks, drop-in visits, or overnight care, I’ll do my best to accommodate your schedule. I’m committed to being punctual, responsive, and making sure your pet receives the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and happiness are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs they may have. I’ll always follow your instructions closely regarding feeding, medications, exercise, and household rules. During walks, I keep dogs securely leashed and stay alert to our surroundings. In your home, I’ll treat your space with respect, provide regular updates and photos, and make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

I expect everything to be available needed for your pet to be there. I will no be hosting pets at my place due to max amount of pets in my apartment. I don’t have any issue with staying at your home for more of comfort setting for your pet.

About: I’ve had all types of pet dogs (small, medium, large) that I’ve learned how to take care of. I have been paid to watch and clean family members dogs in the past. I am young so I am able to do more labor. I am able to give dogs oral medication, and have experience using medicinal creams on dogs. I am able to (and love to!) play with dogs to make sure they have fun. I am no squeamish with cleaning up after animal mistakes, and I can care for multiple dogs as once including puppies and seniors! I’m soon to be enrolled in college full time. I can care for pets over weekends for the full day, and Friday’s after 10 am!! Until school starts though, (August 9th) I am free every day at every time!! If needed, I can watch animals at my mom’s house which has a nice, fenced backyard to play in along with 3 others dogs and 2 cats. (Will mention, one cat is more fiesty with other animals, but i will be putting her in a separate space, and the most she could do is claw) I don’t think I would recommend my mom’s home for seniors or puppies due to an overstimulating environment and a 5 year old.
About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs and cats including fostering kittens through an animal shelter. I’ve helped friends with their dogs as well. I love both dogs and cats very much! I’m a full time student so my schedule varies but is overall very open and flexible! I’m available a majority of the time and for all holidays. I always treat pets like I would treat my own and make sure they feel safe and loved. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully, keep spaces clean, and monitor them closely during walks or playtime.

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kristen was amazing with Sterling! She was kind, communicative, and totally in tune with his quirks. I loved getting photo updates, and it was clear she treated him like her own. He came back happy and relaxed. I’d book her again in a heartbeat!”

About: There has never been a time in my life where I haven’t been around animals. I’ve had dogs, cats, fish, and even mice! I’ve been pet sitting for about 10 years now for friends, family, and now clients. I’ve worked in a pet daycare/boarding facility and as a bather in grooming for about 2 years now, so you can be rest assured I have the training and compassion to take care of your furry (even feathered or scaly) friends! I am currently a part-time student, so I am available Mondays/Wednesdays after 4, Tuesdays/Thursdays after 2, and I have full availability (with some exceptions) on weekends! While I would love to care for your pets, I have my own at home and may need to break away shortly for short times during overnight sittings to take care of them. I am very adaptable to each owners needs. I am willing to play, walk, feed, or anything in between for your pets! I have no problem doing anything your dog or cat may require, even if that means taking care of the not-so-fun parts of owning pets.
About: Hi, I’m Mali! I’ve been caring for animals since I was 11 years old, starting with my own dog, Rajah, who is now a happy 15-year-old senior. I have trained both Rajah and my younger dog, Ripley, as service dogs, giving me extensive hands-on experience with training, behavior, and enrichment. My love for animals extends beyond my own pets. Growing up, I helped care for animals on a farm and even started a small neighborhood grooming service with a friend. Today, I share my home with Rajah, Ripley, and two cats, and animals continue to be at the center of my life. Professionally, I have over five years of experience as a veterinary technician, including four years in emergency medicine. I currently work as a lead veterinary technician in a surgical unit, where I care for patients before, during, and after procedures. This background allows me to confidently care for pets of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs. I am also enrolled in Penn Foster’s Dog Trainer Program and am working toward becoming a certified dog trainer. My goal is to provide every pet with safe, compassionate, and knowledgeable care while giving their owners peace of mind. I work Tuesday–Friday and am generally available after 6 PM on those days. I have much greater flexibility Saturday through Monday for walks, drop-ins, and pet care. I’m also open to discussing scheduling needs and can sometimes adjust when possible. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is always their safety, comfort, and maintaining their normal routine. I take time to follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, and any special medical or behavioral notes. With over five years of experience as a veterinary technician, I am comfortable recognizing early signs of stress, illness, or medical concern and responding appropriately. I also have extensive experience handling pets of all temperaments, including anxious, shy, senior, and high-energy animals. I always approach pets calmly and respectfully, allowing them to set the pace of interaction so they feel safe and secure. I prioritize positive reinforcement, gentle handling, and consistency to reduce stress while their owners are away. In a client’s home, I treat the space with the same respect I would my own—keeping things clean, secure, and exactly as I found them. I also provide updates so owners can feel confident and informed while they are away.

About: There is something sooo special about cats and dogs. I try and read their minds and it’s fun. I’m super affectionate but also understand that each one of them are different and deserve the connection they require to be happy and to feel supported -and entertained. I can manage a flexible schedule. I’m flexible in general. I can take care of other duties needed while I’m caring for your home and pets. Weekends I’d be primarily be stationed at the client’s home and during the week, it depends on the day/s. I am a quiet person who likes to read, write and create. Being around animals does something for my soul and is why I am looking for pets to care for. I will accommodate what is needed for you to be able to continue the love and support your pets get from you while you are away.

My pups love Shanae! She is very responsive and easy to work with. She always checks in with me about any concerns which i really appreciate! She has also gone above and beyond, cleaning up after one of my dogs had an accident in the house when I was at work. I would recommend her to anyone. Thanks Shanae you’re the best!

Alan has been my regular dog walker for over a year now and I would recommend him to anyone. My dog loves him, and he gives detailed reports after every walk, which I appreciate so much. He has really good attention to detail and I trust him to make sure my dog is safe and happy during their evening walks.

Ashley arrived promptly and followed all instructions getting into the apartment for my 14 year old madam Biba … Biba would take Ashley for her walk and Ashley was lovely to be patient, Ashley also sent photos everyday of Biba loving her early morning walks. I highly recommend her and will be using her when we get back after the summer break.

Yanssel goes above and beyond to ae sure my big dig is safe, loved and well taken care of. She always sends plenty if pictures and communicates very thoroughly if something seems off. Yanssel is very trustworthy around my pets and in my home alone. Would recommend 100%.

Hunter was very professional, compassionate, and understanding. He understood the needs of an older dog as well as my crazy work schedule. Most of all I feel I could trust him to come into my home when I was not there. I tried to hire students from ASU and Hunter proved himself to be reliable. I’ll definitely be hiring him again.

I got a very quick reply to my request, than a meet and greet that went very well (my kind of shy little dog took right to him), friendly service, and great communication! He let me know when he was arriving and departing for the dog walk visit, and sent me a photo. I will happily request Kaiser again if needed, and I would recommend him to others.
