About: I’ve had pets my entire life. My family had a two high energy dogs growing up and even from a young age I would enjoy caring for the two of them. After they passed, I volunteered at my local humane society, working mainly with dogs. When I was about 17, I convinced my family to adopt a puppy. I taught him basic commands, potty training, and basic leash skills. I currently own a cat who is equal parts sweetheart and menace. Being tasked with raising a kitten turned out to have a massive learning curve, but he is absolutely spoiled with playtime, toys, and treats. The main goal is to establish trust with new pets by allowing them to approach me with interest om their own terms, even if it takes a while. Providing pets with playtime and attention is a priority after their daily basic needs are met. About: Ive had a dog since I was 4 years old and Ive taken very good care of her. I also helped raise my Grandmas dog since she was 8 weeks old until about a year and a half old. About: Growing up my favorite summer job was always taking care of pets for my family and neighbors. Now that I’m in college and not surrounded by my usual animal community I miss it! I have special experience with senior and disabled pets from blindness and hearing issues. I have also lots of experiences in getting along with rowdy and energetic dog breeds as well. I booked Daniel to take my 18 month old pitbull Maggie for daily walks. We have finished our first week and everything went splendidly. We are working on desensitizing Maggie to normal every day.
