About: I have had a dog since I was a child and have cared for all types of dogs, from a mini dachshund to a great dane mix. I have experience with shelters dogs, dogs with anxiety, and service dogs. I currently work from home and do not have a set schedule. I do have family dinners sunday nights and am typically gone around 4 hours but otherwise, I am typically only gone an hour or so every few days. I live in an apartment but love taking the dogs out on long walks every few hours. I have a retired service dog who will keep your dog company.
“Mel was so amazing with our baby. She came by on short notice and squeezed us in on her busy schedule. We had updates and pictures all along the way to assure piece of mind. Thank you so much Mel!!!”

About: I have the time, patience, and heart to give your dog the attention they deserve—whether it’s for walks, cuddles, or just good company while you’re away. I do work M-F on a 8am to 5pm schedule so anytime around that works for me whether that’s after work or the weekends! Once I’m staying in the house, I try to keep everything as close to the pet’s normal routine as possible. That means feeding them at the right times, sticking to their usual walk or play schedule, and giving them attention if they’re used to a lot of company. If they’re shy or independent, I respect that too. I pay attention to their body language so I can tell if they need more space or more love.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have owned them my whole life. I live in Tempe with 2 roommates and I have a lovely golden retriever, Ophelia, she just turned 2 in February! We love to spend time in our backyard playing and swimming. Our pool is gated which is a BIG help keeping Ophy out of the pool when it’s not swim time. I have experience with puppies, nursing, senior, special needs and cats! I would love to help out with your furbabies! Pet care is a 24/7 responsibility, it is important to me that all animals are treated well and are cared for even when us humans have to make a living… how else do our furry friends think we afford their toys and treats! Being raised in Arizona, I am very aware of outside critters that our furry friends might get to close to. I like to make sure to scope out areas my dogs will be sniffing around before I let them in the area. I prefer to avoid popular dog parks because that is the largest risk of bacteria or unfriendly dogs.
About: I have experience with my own pets, including a cat and a dog. Previously I owned a senior rescue dog who had medical issues (pacemaker, allergies, and bladder issues) that has made me very experienced in dealing with unique pet needs. Most recently, I have raised a puppy, making me knowledgeable about the considerations needed for caring for a young dog. Pet care is currently my main priority. I am able to be fairly flexible if need be, and am typically available Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday any time. Other days can potentially be an option if needed. Your home will be treated with respect and your pet will be very loved by me! I'll work with the pets comfort level to provide the safety, care, and attention needed.
“Zack was on time and communicated when he arrived to walk Lily. He was kind enough to send pictures of her. Very professional and I appreciated that he took the time to meet with me before walking her. Will definitely go to him for more walks and drop in services!”

“Sara was amazing with my boy, Nox. Despite needing to make a few modifications to the booking because of unexpected work plans, I am grateful Sara was able to accomodate my schedule changes. She had great communication and would update me with photos regularly. It gave me total piece of mind that my dog was in good hands. I'd be happy work with Sara again in the future.”

“Alan was very receptive to all of our concerns with walking Archer. I think he did a great job with making us feel comfortable as pet parents and also giving Archer a great workout!”

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is the level of care and attention I give to animals, especially senior pets. Honestly, animals have always been a huge part of my life — my first word was “dog.” Caring for them comes very naturally to me, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality, routines, and quirks. I currently have an 8-year-old pocket pitty named Zola and two cats, Zeke and Macen, who are 9 and 10 years old. Having my own pets has made me very attuned to the importance of routine, patience, and making animals feel safe and comfortable in their environment. Before them, I cared for my geriatric dog Jake, a large breed lab mix who lived to be 16 years old. Caring for an aging dog taught me a lot about senior pet care, including mobility support, medication schedules, comfort needs, and recognizing subtle changes in behavior or health. I’m comfortable administering medications and following detailed care instructions. Whether your pet is energetic, anxious, shy, or needs extra support as they age, I focus on creating a calm, caring environment where they feel secure and loved while you’re away. I’m also very communicative and know how important peace of mind is for pet owners, so I provide regular updates and photos throughout their stay or visit. Most importantly, I treat every animal like they’re my own. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because caring for animals is already a big part of my everyday life. I currently care for my own pets — Zola, my pocket pitty, and my two cats, Zeke and Macen — so my days are already centered around feeding schedules, walks, playtime, attention, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable. At the moment, I have a very open and flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets a lot of attention and consistency throughout the day. I’m available for daytime visits, walks, overnight care, and last-minute needs when possible. Because I’m not balancing a traditional 9–5 schedule, I’m able to be very attentive and adaptable to each pet’s routine and needs. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so pet care doesn’t feel like an obligation to me — it’s something I truly love doing. I care for pets by trying to keep their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible, whether they’re in my home or I’m caring for them in theirs. I know pets are most comfortable when they feel safe, have structure, and get plenty of attention and interaction. In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, litter box cleanup, and any specific routines their pet is used to. I also pay close attention to behavior and energy levels so I can quickly notice if something seems off. I also provide regular updates and photos because I know how important peace of mind is when someone else is caring for your pet.

About: I've always had a love for animals and have spent years caring for pets of all kinds. I have experience with dogs, cats, hamsters, and even tortoises, which have helped me become comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and care routines. Growing up, before I had pets of my own, I loved helping friends and family care for their pets whenever I had the chance, and spending time with animals has always been something I genuinely enjoy! I also have experience with younger pets. My first dog and cats were all under a year old when I got them, so I am familiar with the extra attention, patience, and care that puppies and kittens need while they're still growing and learning. As a student at ASU, I'm not able to have a pet of my own right now, which is one of the reasons I joined Rover! I really miss being around animals and would love the opportunity to care for your pets while giving them lots of attention, companionship, and affection. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I will always treat them like family, while making sure you feel comfortable and updated while they're in my care! 🐾 I am currently on summer break from ASU and not working another job, so I have very open availability throughout the week. I am flexible with scheduling and available most days, which allows me to give pets consistent attention and care. I am happy to work around what best fits your pet's routine and needs! I do not currently have pets of my own, but I have previous experience caring for both dogs and cats. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for every pet I care for. With dogs, I enjoy taking them of walks and making sure they get proper exercise and stimulation. With all animals, I focus on reading their energy and making sure they feel comfortable and happy no matter what mood they're in. I always aim to treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure they feel safe and cared for in any setting.
About: I grew up around dogs and cats (up to 8 total in the household at any given time) and always loved playing, cuddling, and caring for them! When I was 13 I trained my newly born Border Collie (Sam) to be a wonderful and kind family dog. Currently, I care for my 5 year old cat (Loki) and a beautiful 8 year old Lab (Sochi.) I’m excited to love your pets as I would any of mine. I work remotely from home and have a flexible schedule during the week days. I am happy to drop in for the care your pet needs or take them on a fun walk! I can tend to any special needs your animal might have or special requests. Anything that will keep them happy and healthy is what I strive for!
About: My name is Evelyn and I have taken care of my own pets for about 10 year. I own one dog named Bella, and we have 2 cats in the house. Typically I feed pets around 8am and take them out for 10 minutes for morning potty break. I work from home so there's plenty of potty breaks and just hanging around inside. Sometimes I'll take them out for a walk to the park .5 miles away. I work from home so I'm already taking care of my dog. Just feeding her and giving her attention throughout the day. Adding another dog for a day or as needed wouldn't change much for us. :) I first learn their feeding schedule and energy levels. Based on that I will make a schedule for play time with them, have plenty of water and treats, and a comfy bed for them to lay on.
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kristen was amazing with Sterling! She was kind, communicative, and totally in tune with his quirks. I loved getting photo updates, and it was clear she treated him like her own. He came back happy and relaxed. I’d book her again in a heartbeat!”

About: I’ve taken care of all types of dogs for 15+ years! I have a pup of my own that is my whole world. I can care for dogs of all ages. I am also open to caring for your cat :) I have a pretty flexible schedule so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your pup! The services I provide are drop-in visits and walks. Boarding would only be considered if you feel comfortable with them staying at my house with my pup (who is very very friendly and loves having visitors). Truthfully, I probably treat my dog better than my boyfriend (😂). We take lots of walks, love going to the dog park and playing fetch.

About: Always had a passion for dogs and am certified in dog obedience. I’ve raised my own dog since he was a puppy—he’s now 8 years old. I treat every dog with the same love, care, and attention as if they were my own. Pet care fits really well into my daily life because I work remotely, which gives me flexibility and time to properly care for pets throughout the day. It also helps me break up my routine in a positive way by getting outside for walks, playtime, and check-ins. I enjoy being active and having structure in my day, and caring for animals naturally adds that balance. Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs, so it never feels like a task—it feels rewarding and something I look forward to. I care for pets like they’re part of my own family—keeping their routine steady, making sure they’re happy, fed, and comfortable, and giving them plenty of attention and care while you’re away. I also respect your home and keep everything tidy.
About: I’ve had many pets growing up my entire life, however, I began being an animal caretaker since 2019. Originally I was a flying nanny so I was never home, but I was transporting dogs and cats all over the United States from state to state. I fell in love with my job until I could no longer travel anymore. Now that I work from home, I still want to be able to continue my journey with caring for animals. Many people do jobs because their parents did it or they do it for the money; but I genuinely do it because I love animals… you might be able to say more than humans. I currently work from home and work when I want in my daily life would really affect my availability to pet sit. I’m basically available every single day of the week unless I make plans. I live in an apartment that has a grass area for animals to handle their business and it is fenced all the way around the apartment. And I have a very sweet cat who was about three years old and she does very well with other animals if your baby needs company.

About: Hi! I’m Courtney, a lifelong animal lover with years of experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop-in visit, daycare, or overnight stay, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I work from home, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I understand that every pet has their own routine, quirks, and needs, and I do my best to make their time with me feel as close to home as possible. For pets staying in our home, safety and comfort are my top priorities. All pets are fed separately to ensure an stress-free mealtime experience, and they’re welcome on the furniture for snuggles and relaxation. We also have plenty of toys available for sharing, enrichment, and playtime throughout the day. Our large, grassy backyard gives dogs plenty of space to explore and enjoy outdoor time and sunbathe. You’ll receive regular photo updates and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and love building lasting relationships with both pets and their people. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member! Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I already structure my days around caring for my own dog. Daily walks, playtime, feeding schedules, enrichment, and making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for are already a regular part of my life. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to accommodate drop-ins, walks, daycare, and overnight care throughout the week. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so caring for pets feels less like a task and more like something I truly love doing. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress free as possible. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and receive lots of attention and affection. I’m also comfortable administering medications, following detailed care instructions, and adapting to each pet’s personality and needs. I always aim to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. In my own home, pets are treated like family. I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment with plenty of supervision, playtime, potty breaks, walks, and space to relax. I also have a friendly, well-socialized dog who does well with other animals, and I always prioritize slow introductions and safety to make sure everyone is comfortable.
Rural-Geneva dog parents share their Rover experiences
Alan has been my regular dog walker for over a year now and I would recommend him to anyone. My dog loves him, and he gives detailed reports after every walk, which I appreciate so much. He has really good attention to detail and I trust him to make sure my dog is safe and happy during their evening walks.

Ashley arrived promptly and followed all instructions getting into the apartment for my 14 year old madam Biba … Biba would take Ashley for her walk and Ashley was lovely to be patient, Ashley also sent photos everyday of Biba loving her early morning walks. I highly recommend her and will be using her when we get back after the summer break.

Teresa has been absolutely wonderful with Stella, has walked her every day from 8 weeks to 6 months around lunch to help my husband and I with our work schedule. She provides clear communication and plenty of pictures and has been very flexible with our work schedules. My dog loves her! Would highly recommend her.

Yanssel goes above and beyond to ae sure my big dig is safe, loved and well taken care of. She always sends plenty if pictures and communicates very thoroughly if something seems off. Yanssel is very trustworthy around my pets and in my home alone. Would recommend 100%.

Hunter was very professional, compassionate, and understanding. He understood the needs of an older dog as well as my crazy work schedule. Most of all I feel I could trust him to come into my home when I was not there. I tried to hire students from ASU and Hunter proved himself to be reliable. I’ll definitely be hiring him again.

I booked Daniel to take my 18 month old pitbull Maggie for daily walks. We have finished our first week and everything went splendidly. We are working on desensitizing Maggie to normal every day. Sounds and Daniel has been a great help in understanding the mission and moving towards success, I have him booked on an ongoing basis. Maggie is becoming more comfortable with him and I feel we will ultimately reach our goal.

I got a very quick reply to my request, than a meet and greet that went very well (my kind of shy little dog took right to him), friendly service, and great communication! He let me know when he was arriving and departing for the dog walk visit, and sent me a photo. I will happily request Kaiser again if needed, and I would recommend him to others.

Great Experience - Lauren was amazing! She arrived on time and was great on the communication process. She immediately gave attention to our Mimi and got comfortable with her first, while receiving instructions from my wife. Lauren listened to all the do's and don'ts with our baby and asked great questions - She took great care of her and we would certainly recommend to anyone thinking about this service. Thank you Lauren!! (I'm sure Mimi misses you!) Brad & Laurel
