“Brooke and her family were wonderful sitters! My two dogs are very anxious around strangers, but Brooke provided a very relaxed environment for the dogs and, based on all the pictures she sent me, both dogs adjusted very quickly and loved having the run of their big back yard. I would highly recommend Brooke and plan to use their services in the future. THANK YOU!!!”

“Eric took great care of Kuma over 2 weeks and I could tell he was having a great time. Got lots of amazing pictures and updates. I would definitely book with Eric again in the future for anytime!”

“My dogs had a great time with Catherine. She sent multiple photos throughout their stay with her and they always looked relaxed, comfortable, and right at home. Great communication and I will definitely book with her again!”

“Very caring and attentive family with kids that were kind to our dog. House is safe for any dog. Sergio and Bethany were also very accommodating to the specific feeding instructions we provided.”

“We have enjoyed working with Tracy M. We were able to enjoy our week vacation because we knew the girls were being taken well care of. Tracy kept us updated with pictures on how the girls (2 yorkies) were doing.”

“I can’t say enough good things about Angela and her whole family. I left my fur baby with them for almost a month. I got daily pictures and reports. They made my dog feel right at home and treated her like a family member. I couldn’t have asked for better care.”

“Molly seemed to be the life of the party. I enjoyed the communication throughout her stay along with some pictures 💜!! James & Erin were great sitters and I hope to use them again.”

“We tend to have last minute travel plans come up and Cassandra has been so flexible and accommodating. Our Dane, Louie, absolutely loves staying with her and enjoys a puppy slumber party with her sweet dogs.”

“Alex was amazing with my senior dog, Damien! She took the time to ask thoughtful questions before and during his stay, which made me feel so comfortable leaving him in her care. It was clear from the start that she truly understands the needs of older dogs. Her home has such a calm, loving energy — you can tell any pup who spends time there feels safe and cared for. Damien got plenty of attention and quality time. I couldn’t recommend Alex more!”

“Kelly is an amazing person. She loves pets, and Aiko had an excellent time with her. She sent us photos all the time and always stayed in touch. I would definitely leave Aiko with her again.”

About: I've fostered many family dogs for over the years. Not only do we play but they enjoy our conversations. They certainly don't lack for attention. I'm a retired teacher and former pet owner. I'm available 7 days a week from 7am to 6pm. Outside of occasional errands I am home. I currently do not have any pets so I will be your pets sole companion. Once inside the gate your dog will be totally safe in my fenced yard
“Our dog had the best stay with Trudy. Our dog has anxiety, and usually struggles when we leave on trips, but Trudy clearly worked some kind of magic because our dog did so well at her place! She came home happy and relaxed, which is a testament to how awesome Trudy was at taking care of her while we were away. She also made sure to send photos and videos, and let us know how things were going. Thank you again Trudy!”

“Made my pup feel right at home, right away, and usually that takes him a minute because he’s a nervous boy! He loved his stay so much I’m sure he didn’t want to come home! Would definitely have Ana watch him again, any day! She sent so many picture updates which was great because we missed him!”

“Todd and Christina were wonderful. They are very caring, sincere and aware. They gave my dog lots of exercise which is so kind. Great communication and always sent me pics and updated me.”

About: Hi! I’m Ashley! I volunteer at Almost There Rescue and have completed 250+ volunteer hours in 2025. I’ve worked with puppies, adult dogs, seniors, and dogs who need extra patience or confidence-building. I help with Puppy Preschool, where we work with puppies under 10 weeks to build early confidence, positive socialization, and gentle exposure to new things. This stage is so important because it shapes how they grow into calm, well-adjusted adults. I’m also Fear Free Certified, which means I’ve been trained in low-stress handling and how to reduce fear, anxiety, and stress in dogs. I focus on keeping animals emotionally safe, reading their body language, and making every interaction positive and comfortable. In addition, I’m certified by my rescue to work with older, fearful, or more challenging dogs, including dogs who have been returned. I’m trained to move at their pace, build trust slowly, and support dogs who need a softer approach. I also take puppies on day trips to help them explore new environments in a calm and controlled way. I also have experience fostering, so I’m used to bringing dogs into a home environment, helping them settle, and keeping routines consistent and stress-free. What Sets Me Apart • Fear Free Certified — trained in low-stress, positive handling • Experience with every personality: shy, energetic, nervous, and everything in between • Very calm, patient, and safety-focused • Strong puppy skills: crate routines, potty breaks, enrichment, and early training • Comfortable with anxious or sensitive dogs who need extra reassurance • All my ASU classes are online, so I have lots of flexibility for any schedule • Studying Business Management + Nonprofit Leadership because I’m genuinely dedicated to rescue work • Consistent photo/video updates so you always feel connected I truly love caring for dogs and want every pup I watch to feel relaxed, understood, and loved. I’d be happy to help with whatever your dog needs! All of my ASU classes are online, so I am home a lot and have a very flexible schedule. This makes it easy for me to plan my day around whatever your dog needs, whether that is frequent potty breaks, playtime, enrichment, or quiet company. I also have a car, so I am able to travel easily for house sitting or in-home visits when needed. For puppies who have not received their final round of vaccinations, I keep everything indoors, use puppy pads, and maintain a clean and consistent routine to keep them safe. For fully vaccinated adult dogs, my building has a fenced yard that only one dog owner can use at a time. It is a secure space where dogs can run around freely without being exposed to unknown pets. I always try to create a calm and predictable environment, and I pay close attention to each dog’s comfort level and body language. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I am always happy to follow whatever schedule your dog is used to so they feel relaxed and at home with me. I always focus on creating a calm, safe, and predictable environment for every dog I care for. I pay close attention to body language and comfort levels so no dog feels overwhelmed, rushed, or ignored. My goal is to make each dog feel understood and secure, whether they are staying with me or I am caring for them in their own home. In my home, puppies who have not had their final round of vaccinations stay completely indoors. I use clean puppy pads, safe play areas, and lots of supervision so they are protected and comfortable. Fully vaccinated adult dogs can enjoy the fenced yard at my building, which is only used by one dog owner at a time. It is a very safe space for dogs to run around without being exposed to unfamiliar pets. In clients’ homes, I follow whatever routine their dog is used to. I keep their feeding schedule, potty routine, crate habits, and preferred level of activity the same so they feel stable and relaxed. I stay respectful of your home, clean up after pets, and make sure your dog gets the same level of gentle, structured care they would with you. Overall, I focus on safety, consistency, and trust. I want every dog to feel relaxed, respected, and at home no matter where I am caring for them.
