We currently have 2 rescue cats, and 1 rescue dog. Mikayla feeds, plays, bathes, and cleans up after the cats and dog. She also walks our dog with her sister. Mikayla is pursuing a career as a veterinarian, and this job gives her additional experience w pets.”

About: Hello! I am a second year medical student at Midwestern University. I wanted to be a veterinarian all my life (before switching to human medicine), which has given me lots of experience working with animals. I worked at Ocotillo Animal Clinic and Pet Resort for 2 years as a boarding technician, so I am experienced with dispensing medication and other services such as nail trimming, anal gland expression, and more! I am experienced with doggy and kitty first aid, and know what signs to look for in case your pet is in distress. The health and happiness of your pet is my biggest concern! Personally, I had 2 cockatiels and 2 beta fish growing up, and currently own a Red Eared Slider turtle. My cat and two puppies are very close to my heart, alongside my childhood Labrador retriever, Homer. Additionally, I am bilingual (Spanish and English). I am very open right now (7 days a week and 24 hrs), as I am all done with classes for the rest of my fourth year. I will be starting as a resident physician in June. Pets need to be cared for with patience and compassion! I have a dog park in front of my apartment as well as beautiful walking routes. In any clients home, respect and honesty are the pillars of my work ethic.

Each selection comes with a summary of how your pets are in addition to multiple pictures of them! Drop ins typically consist of changing food, water, changing litter, dog walking/letting dogs) in your yard, distributing medicine / ointment, etc. Dog walking consists of primarily taking the dogs) for a walk or to a nearby dog park. Water is given as well. House sitting is customizable depending on owners request but typically includes everything a drop in does. I only do ROVER so I’m flexible on time, I can make adjustments with my schedule to assist Each animal is different so please make note of your specific requests. I'm definitely willing to customize your experience. I can easily crate your dog if needed, I always take care of the dogs around me as if they are my babies I can do anything for them
