About: I grew up with dogs my entire life and have been pet sitting since I was a teenager. I have two dogs of my own who are my children and any pet I care for will be treated as if they’re my own. I have a lot of experience caring for older dogs since my parents dogs lived until they were 16 and 17yo. I have a full-time work from home job that I can work from anywhere as long as you have internet. I do work nights but work every other week. If you don’t mind me working while your pet sleeps I can sit on weeks I work. My job allows me plenty of flexibility to provide the best care for your pet. About: If you need someone to give some attention, snuggle, exercise, or anything in between! I have extensive experience administering medications, with or without aids or coercion. (usually! Every dog is different, but I've been trained by veterinary professionals.) I cared for my 13 year-old Lab-mix, Jackson, 24/7 while working from home during Covid lockdowns. Two of those years he was unable to walk unassisted and 100% of his mobility relied on me to go up and down stairs, outside to the bathroom, etc. He needed medications 4 times per day, and so I understand the struggles. In my life I have rescued and raised a squirrel pup, many cats, kittens, dogs, and now I have a 1 year-old pup at home that I have rescued since I just moved here to AZ. (in my picture! Meet Andromeda!) Meet and greets can be done in your home, a park, or wherever you and your pets are comfy! I am currently laid off and can provide nearly any level of support you need within reason. (I do have a pup at home myself that loves and misses me!) I love walking, but I do have physical limits. After sundown is obviously best, but I'm available early mornings too. Mid-day walks are rough on everyone, but I can handle them. I carry TONS of water and ice packs for both the pets and myself. Whatever works best for you and your babies; drop-ins, walks, bathroom breaks only, exercise (light jog for a few miles if they're good on a leash with me!), throwing a ball, playing tug-o-war with rope, whatever they need or want! Low energy? High energy? I'm their man.

Where their little egos can be fed and they can get all the cuddles needed while away from their family. I have a good size backyard, but they aren't allowed out there without supervision for their safety. My neighborhood has beautiful walking paths for daily walks. We have enough room where your dog could have a safe place of their own if he needed at nighttime. I do daily walks with my dog that your dog could join if they like. I work from home full-time so potty breaks and cuddles could be frequent if needed. Also because I work from home, if your dog prefers 3 smaller meals a day I can accommodate that type of scheduled. I would accommodate any diet schedule/accommodations needed. Some medications I could administer if needed. Your dog would get at least one walk per day. Nice backyard for them to play in. About: While I am new to Rover, I have been caring for my friends, family, and neighbors pets for the last 30 yrs. Just like humans, no two dogs are a like, so every job is catered specifically to your pets needs. I take AZ heat very seriously and am always on the look out for animals getting overheated. I will also always check the temperature of the sidewalk before heading out for a walk. If I'm caring for a pet in your home my in home visits include *Feeding and fresh water (I'll also keep the bowls clean) *Potty breaks *Playtime or cuddles *walks or enrichment time *medication management (if needed) *Mail collection *plant watering. At my home I have a medium size fenced yard that is half grass half dirt. I also have a designated dig pit for the dogs who love to dig. I have a one yr old, male, 25lb mini Aussie/terrier mix, who is the welcome wagon and loves all dogs. He's available all day long to play or just cuddle in the sun. In the winter he gets walked 3 times a day and in the summer we go early in the am and late at night. We also enjoy going to the park when it is empty or hiking. I have a medium size crate in my bedroom but there is room for a larger one. If your pup prefers to sleep in his crate alone, I also have a guest bedroom they can go in. But I usually suggest letting your dog sleep in his crate or dog bed in my room since its a new environment.

I’m home full-time, which allows me to give pets plenty of love, companionship, playtime, walks, and gentle belly rubs to help them feel safe and comfortable just like at home. I truly enjoy spending quality time with dogs and making sure they feel happy and relaxed while in my care. I do not use crates. Dogs in my home are treated like family. I also have a small dog of my own who is very calm, friendly, and well-socialized. Because of this, I can only accept dogs that are friendly and comfortable around other dogs. I’m home full-time, so pet care is part of my daily routine. I’m available all day to provide supervision, frequent potty breaks, meals, playtime, walks, and plenty of love and attention. Pets are safe and comfortable in my home. I have a fully fenced backyard and supervise them at all times. My house is spacious, and the neighborhood is quiet, secure, and full of green areas for walks and play.

Every dog is different, but I've been trained by veterinary professionals.) I cared for my 13 year-old Lab-mix, Jackson, 24/7 while working from home during Covid lockdowns. Two of those years he was unable to walk unassisted and 100% of his mobility relied on me to go up and down stairs, outside to the bathroom, etc. He needed medications 4 times per day, and so I understand the struggles. In my life I have rescued and raised a squirrel pup, many cats, kittens, dogs, and now I have a 1 year-old pup at home that I have rescued since I just moved here to AZ. (in my picture! Meet Andromeda!) Meet and greets can be done in your home, a park, or wherever you and your pets are comfy! I am currently laid off and can provide nearly any level of support you need within reason. (I do have a pup at home myself that loves and misses me!) I love walking, but I do have physical limits. After sundown is obviously best, but I'm available early mornings too. Mid-day walks are rough on everyone, but I can handle them. I carry TONS of water and ice packs for both the pets and myself. Whatever works best for you and your babies; drop-ins, walks, bathroom breaks only, exercise (light jog for a few miles if they're good on a leash with me!), throwing a ball, playing tug-o-war with rope, whatever they need or want! Apart from my own pets, for the past several years I have been trusted by family and friends to watch cats, puppies, and lizards. I know that each pet is unique and will require different care than others. Our family dog recently turned 16, so I know when to be playful and when the animals need their own time and space. The most important thing to me is that the pets themselves feel comfortable. I will play with them if they’d like, but won’t force them to interact if they don’t want to. I will take care of any water or food needs, walk and clean up after them if necessary, and give lots of pets and cuddles! I am willing to adapt to any specific needs such as medications. I will be honest however that I am not very experienced with grooming, so if that is a service you need I may not be the best fit. At my home I have a medium size fenced yard that is half grass half dirt. I also have a designated dig pit for the dogs who love to dig. I have a one yr old, male, 25lb mini Aussie/terrier mix, who is the welcome wagon and loves all dogs. He's available all day long to play or just cuddle in the sun. In the winter he gets walked 3 times a day and in the summer we go early in the am and late at night. We also enjoy going to the park when it is empty or hiking. I have a medium size crate in my bedroom but there is room for a larger one. If your pup prefers to sleep in his crate alone, I also have a guest bedroom they can go in. But I usually suggest letting your dog sleep in his crate or dog bed in my room since its a new environment.
