About: I have loved animals for as long as I can remember! I am new to the Rover community but I am not new to loving on the pups as I have committed myself to learning the best ways to adapt and give the best care for them. When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your dogs, I will dedicate my time to loving them (which is SO easy for me to do). I would be honored to take them to a dog park where they can also interact with the other puppers while you’re away! While I have had dogs of all sizes my entire life, I do not have any dogs of my own at the moment. This means I am full of energy and love to give to you and yours! I currently work from home part time so I have lots of time and love to give! This is intentional as I would like to spend more of time around the doggos. I am mostly available M-F but can be available on the weekends as needed, spending time with your pup is something I look forward to! My apartment has a dog park for both small and big dogs, as well as a full park just down the street. I do not own a crate of my own at the moment but I am able to set up their home crate in my space if needed.
“I have a complicated schedule since I just started a new job and Stephenie was very flexible with any changes that I needed to make. I really appreciate her reliability and I have no complaints! Will definitely be using her again :)”

“I see why she is a star sitter on rover! Kelsei is literally heaven sent! I had an emergency and she was able to step in to watch my babies on short notice. She did above and beyond what was expected and I couldn't thank her enough! Will definitely book again, and you should too! She really cares and it shows!”

“So grateful Ariana was able to walk Dexter! Ariana was super kind, professional and patient with Dexter’s leash pulling 🥹 he is in training now so hopefully he will get better and better at walks and we’ll be able to rebook Ariana soon!! Thank you SO Much! You’re amazing!”

“This was our first time using Rover, and the first time leaving our dog with someone… Zach put every one of our concerns at ease! When he first met our little one, it was obvious that Zac was an animal person. He was polite, asked us the right questions, and answered all of ours… and that was just the meet and greet. While we were away, Zac kept us updated with pictures, videos, and texts. We could not have asked for a better dog sitter than Zac. We will be using Zac whenever we travel in the future- if we are lucky enough! We could not be more impressed with his services.”

About: I grew up having all animals in my life. From my own house having turtles, birds, Guinea pigs,5 dogs and almost 15 cats!(no joke!) my aunt I’m very close with also had a small farm with lots of farm animals that I’ve helped take care of. Again I’m a super big animal lover and have no problem taking care of easy pets or difficult bigger pets like 100+ pound dogs. I also have many references that go back 8 years long I’m currently working part-time in the slower season of my job at U-Haul moving and storage. My work shifts are usually around six hours long 3-4 days a week so I have plenty of free time and availability. I also am able to take a lunch break if needed to go check on or feed your pets while at work! Currently, I am living in an apartment with my mom who is also an animal lover and helps me take care of any animals that I might have staying over but I usually do stick to smaller animals being brought into my home since I do have a cat already. I usually prefer to go to your house or possibly asleep at your house if you’re gone for the weekend so that way I’m able to give nonstop care and attention to the animal. I also am very easy-going and do not require much when staying at your home! As well, I have many references for taking care of animals for taking care of house houses plants and anything in between

About: I’ve always been surrounded by animals all my life. Whether the spirit purrs, barks, has reptilian features, or a flexible mammal, they were all loved. They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks but I beg to differ with my senior pup Roxy. Im also familiar with training puppies as I’ve raised one in my younger days. My schedule is very flexible and open during the weekdays. Looking to help out other pet parents and provide peace of mind that their fur legged babe is happy in good company. My animals are free roam throughout the house and our backyard has plenty of play space. If the weather permits good weather, catch me outside playing with your pup or opting for a walk. Also willing to work on training if needed as requested.
About: I have been dog/cat sitting for my family and friends for the past 11 years now. I have voluteered at local animal shelter in Farmington, NM walking all sorts of breeds mainly small dogs. I am very familiar with large dogs but now that I am a mom I would prefer to watch small/medium dogs. I am responsible, patient, and very loving caring that enjoys spending time with animals. I do have 3 children's that have grown up around dogs/cats since they were babies, they are very respectful and maintained on how to treat an animal. I am a Sahm who is home 24/7 so there will be someone who is with your fur babies. ❤️ I am home 24/7 through out the day, so there will be someone to watch your pup. I do go out to drop off my kids at school but that's less than 20mins. I do live in a safe and clean environment where your dog can feel at home and comfortable. You're little fur babies will be treated like family, their will be lots of walk through out the day depending on the weather.

“Kim is an experienced dog walker and sitter. She immediately agreed to a meet and greet with me and was very attentive to what I was telling her about my pup, Maggie. The morning of Maggie’s first walk I sent a detailed message regarding her care. She followed everything I asked perfectly. I also have a cat who is finicky about new people in the house and that was all handled great. I will definitely be using Kim in the future!”

Sage is a phenomenal dog walker! He accommodated to all the request we have asked and also really cares for dogs. We have 3 older dogs and he takes really good care of them during their morning walks, ensuring that it stays on par with their normal morning routine. I would highly recommend Sage for anyone looking for a good dog walker!

Thomas is very reliable, he has been good about staying in communication, provides updates, is consistent and overall pleasant & sweet. I had peace of mind that he was doing good about caring for my doggie while I was away. Just super blessed I found him, he is good about responding to my puppies antics, quirks and fears.

My 2 dogs loved Skye. I was working long hours and had her scheduled to come over and let them out to go potty halfway thru my shift. She sent me pictures every day and my dogs didn’t have 1 accident while Skye was taking them out. She is great with dogs and helped me out a lot.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
