Safety, trust & environment

I provide dedicated, in-home care and spend approximately 85–90% of the stay with your pet(s), including overnights. I make every effort to maintain your pet’s normal routine and ensure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I treat each home with the utmost respect and care. I clean up after myself and any areas used during the stay. I do not smoke or vape. I’m also happy to bring my own inflatable bed, sheets, and towels if preferred. To ensure a safe and pleasant environment for both myself and your pet(s), I ask that your home be cleaned within 24 hours prior to your departure. If the home requires unexpected or excessive cleaning to create a sanitary space for care, an additional cleaning fee may apply. Clear expectations help create a positive experience for everyone. If this policy doesn’t feel like the right fit, I completely understand and wish you the best in finding a sitter who meets your needs.

Information Nancy S. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your pet has special needs. For example, I have experience with deaf animals. I love giant dogs, however, I can only care give for well behaved dogs that are 25bs. or less as I'm petite in stature. If your pet is leery around new people, then please seek socialization training with a professional. Rover does provide 1 on 1 virtual training.

A typical day

I love to stimulate your dog(s) physically and mentally. We'll play a bunch of games, check out all the smells in the neighborhood and explore near by parks if I feel safe in the surrounding area. Wait a meow-ment. Let's not forget cats! Wands and plush toys are just a few favs that make play time fun. I once had the pleasure of care sitting for a parrot who loved the sing. I can't carry a tune, but I'm up for a sing off anytime.

Pet care experience

I provide reliable, attentive, and compassionate in-home care, with an emphasis on safety, consistency, and thoughtful routines. My approach is especially well-suited for pets who benefit from a calm, experienced presence, including seniors and reactive dogs. Pet(s) must be 25lbs or less as I can't safely lift more than that. While Rover’s “Star Sitter” badge is based heavily on booking and new-client metrics within a specific timeframe, my priority has always been providing reliable, high-quality care and maintaining strong relationships with repeat clients and their pets.

Nancy was such a great help with our cat, Hugh. She asked lots of great questions and was very attentive to the details for Hugh’s check-ins. I recommend Nancy to others on Rover!

We've used Nancy in the past and have re-booked with her several times. She keeps the house clean and takes good care of our senior dog.

We have used Nancy multiple times and she is always wonderful. She takes great care of our two dogs and house. It is so nice to be on vacation and know things are taken care of at home. We are very grateful for Nancy!
