“This was my first time using rover and it was a last minute trip, so I was really in a pickle and luckily found Jackie. My little Georgie is a bit of a nervous nellie and I was worried about his separation anxiety. Jackie sent me pictures while I was away, and I could tell George he was having the best time. I would definitely recommend using Jackie and I will be using her again myself in the future!”

“Brooke and her family were very accommodating after accepting a last minute booking for my dog Z. She sent me pictures every day to keep me updated & took great care of my pup”

“Julie was fantastic with Moose! (The dog… not the giant antlered woodland mammal. Although if she can handle Moose, I have a feeling she’d figure that one out too.) From the minute I dropped him off, I felt completely comfortable leaving him with her. She asked thoughtful questions about his routine, personality, and care, which told me right away she wasn’t just checking boxes—she genuinely wanted to know him. Since Moose occasionally communicates through interpretive dance and questionable life choices, I relayed the detailed care instructions. Julie took it all in stride. Every day she sent adorable pictures along with a little update about what Moose had been up to. It was such a comfort knowing he wasn’t just being watched—he was genuinely being cared for and enjoying himself. Those daily updates made being away so much easier. When we picked him up, he was happy, confident, and his delightfully goofy self. He looked like he’d had his own little vacation. That’s exactly what every dog owner hopes for. We’ll absolutely be booking with Julie again. It’s not easy to find someone you trust with your favorite four-legged family member, but Julie made that part easy. Moose gives her two paws up… and I’d give more if he had them.”

“Kelly is warm and genuine in her love for dogs! I was confident my dog would be safe, relaxed, and well-cared for in Kelly’s home. I picked up a happy dog and am pleased! Thank you Kelly for a terrific 1st boarding.”

“As always Pamela took great care of my little man over the holidays. In the past I’ve been anxious about leaving my little guy with a pet sitter, but not now. When I get to her house he jumps out of the and runs right to her door. So comforting knowing that he’s in good hands when I travel!”
“Ash was absolutely amazing and did a fantastic job keeping us up to date with pictures and videos! We were beyond pleased and will most definitely be contacting her again!”

“Samantha & her kids took great care of my dog Bella while I was out of the country on a yoga retreat for a week. I appreciated her text & picture updates throughout the week - Bella is a happy girl!”

“Was very attentive to my comfortably and safety of my dog. She communicated well and gave updates. Was always a pleasure to speak to and understood Xena and I had some not so pleasant visits with a previous sitter, she reassured me that Xena was in good hands. Xena came back happy and healthy, full and played out. She had a good time and I would recommend this sitter to anyone in need of a safe place for a temporary stay. Great job”

“Ridley was well taken care of during his stay. We received daily updates of him playing and exercising as he can get pent up energy. Ezra is knowledgeable and you can tell he has a passion for animals. We asked for some extra attention for Ridley and he delivered even more than expected!!”

“As always Adriana and Kayla took amazing care of our fur baby!!! I would recommend Adriana over and over again! She provides a wonderful atmosphere and plenty of love 💕 to our fur baby!!!!”

“Catherine was great with our mini goldendoodle, Maple! She walked her every morning and kept us updated while we were away. Maple was happy when we picked her up, and she got along really well with Catherine’s dog, Mango. We’d definitely have Catherine watch her again!”

“Eric was an awesome sitter! He took our dog out often, kept him entertained, and even took professional photos of him. We are pleased with his clean environment and the care he’s shown towards Maurice. Eric replies quickly and gives updates throughout the day. I’d highly recommend him!!”

“Shahla was absolutely wonderful. First and foremost, she took great care of Porkchop for over two weeks. Beyond that, she was so easy to work with, was responsive and thoughtful, and kindly accommodated some changes we had to make with our booking and coordinating drop-offs. I recommend Shahla and will book with her again.”
“Christian and Hana were very nice and took great care of my dog Oreo! I got daily updates and photos about how he was doing. They gave him lots of attention and he seemed very happy when I picked him up.”

“Zach and Maddie were the absolute best! From the moment I met them I knew my dog was in great hands. They are genuine dog lovers. I got lots of updates while I was away. It was such a relief being gone for a week and not having to worry about my dog. They even took him on a picnic! 10/10. Highly recommend.”

“I highly recommend Veronica for watching your pup. She and her family were wonderful. She sent photos everyday, was very communicative, and took great care of my dog Sadie. I will definitely rebook with her in the future!”

“David was so great to Rudy & Leahy. He communicated well, took phenomenal care of them (multiple walks daily) and gave them all the puppy love! I will request David to watch them every time moving forward. He is a great guy who cares about your animals like they are his own.”

“Celeste was able to accommodate my travel schedule and make things very easy. It was the first time I have had my dog stay at someone else's home and everything went well!”

“We had Mike watch Izzy for 8 days and everything was great. After making the reservation, we took our dog to meet Mike and to see where our dog would be staying. Their home is set up very well for the pets safety and their comfort. They were very easy to communicate with and were always very responsive by text. They provided contact daily with a brief update and a photo which was very comforting to us. We have already booked another stay for two weeks and know that Izzy will be very well cared for. We highly recommend Mike and his wife to care for your pet.”

Krista took awesome care of Tootsie!! She has the best backyard space and our dog loved it! Krista updated us each morning, and sent pics too!! She was very responsive and worked easily with our schedule! Tootsie was very well taken care of, and we could tell she was loved while we were out of town! Thank you!!
Kim took wonderful care of Fifi during her stay. She kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. Kim was patient, caring, and attentive, and it was clear that Fifi felt comfortable and happy with her. I truly appreciated all the love and attention she gave Fifi and would gladly book with her again. Highly recommend!

Alexandra is the BEST! I cannot say enough good things about her! She came through for me when I was in a panic searching for a sitter at the very last minute. She took in my Peppa girl and treated her like her own without any hesitation. She was sweet, communicative, and best of all Peppa loved her!! My pup felt like she was right at home and I couldn’t ask for anything more. I could enjoy my time away without worrying about my only child (lol). Thank you Alexandra!

Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
