“Kaidan and her partner were such great sitters! My Persian boy even made a friend with their cat Yuzu during his time at their place! I was provided with so many pictures to give me a piece of mind knowing my furry buddy was being taken good care of. I highly recommend! Thanks!!”

“Michelle and Cyrus were so wonderful with our dogs. They have an excellent set up at the house and in their back yard for the dogs. Michelle was very responsive and attentive. She sent pictures and videos every day which helped ease our minds being away from our babies for a week. They took such great care of our pups and we are so grateful! We highly recommend Michelle and Cyrus.”

About: I have helped several friends and family members pet sit; and train their dogs. I absolutely adore animals. Specifically dogs and cats. I have experience with all ages, breeds, and sizes. I have rescued many dogs, and some in horrible conditions bringing them back to life with extra care and attention. If I could rescue, help, and love every dog and cat. I would. 🙏💕 I am a caregiver as my primary job, and it is very flexible schedule. I am able to be home a lot when needed. I have a big heart, patient, observant, and detailed oriented. I am able to administer medications and injections as needed. I know each of my dogs have specific needs and regimens. So I would give your babies the same love and attention to their needs. I live in a large home with a yard that is fenced in. It is a 8ft brick wall all the way around. I have the capability of having your dogs kennel and necessary things in my home in their own space, or they can be together with my pups. Anything is possible! I am very flexible to cater to the needs of your babies 🩷 Treat others how you would want to be treated. In other words I would treat your babies how I would want mine to be treated, and mine are spoiled 😂🥰 I am currently am a caregiver for the elderly, about 3-4 days a week. I am scheduled for 4-5hrs at a time. No more than twice a day. I have a lot of extra time to be with your babies and love on them. ❤️ I treat them as my own babies. I make sure that they are taken care of and all the needs that they have are met. I want them to feel comfortable in their environment and feel like an extended family member is taking care of them while you are away. They will be played with, exercised, fed, and able to take care of business outside every 4-5 hrs a day
“Rachael was AMAZING with my boys. Her care for them, communication and time spent to make sure they felt at home put my heart at ease. I would highly recommend you book with her🤍”

“Gina is the best! Our dog is seriously so happy to go to her house anytime we need to get out of town. Her kids love on our dog so much, and she is so great at sending pictures and videos. I love that he is not just stuck in a crate somewhere!”

About: I have a puppy of my own, so I understand the importance of consistency, supervision, and creating a safe environment for pets. I treat every pet as if they were part of my own family, taking the time to learn their personalities, routines, and preferences to ensure they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for :) I currently work full-time Monday through Friday, but I am available to care for pets from Friday evenings through the weekend. Since I have a puppy of my own, I usually stay home on weekends and maintain a pet-friendly routine. This allows me to provide plenty of supervision, companionship, playtime, and attentive care to your pets. I care for pets in my home by providing a safe, clean, and supervised environment. I have a dog playpen where your fur baby can rest and play comfortably. Although I do not have a yard, I have a small, securely fenced balcony for fresh air and supervised outdoor time. I ensure pets have access to fresh water, follow their feeding schedules, provide regular potty breaks and exercise, and give them plenty of attention and affection. I also follow any specific instructions provided by pet owners to maintain their pets’ routines and comfort.
“Jerron had incredible communication and responded very quickly. He agreed to watch our dog on short notice and kept us in the loop during his stay. Our dog is very energetic which he didn’t mind and took him on several mile walks.”

About: I’ve fostered and rescued cats and dogs for a few years now , every since I was a kid I would bring in strays and help them . I’ve also pet sat for friends and family for a few years as well :) I currently have a job were I make my own schedule so my availability is very open ! I’m available every day of the week day and night :) I walk my dogs 3 times a day I take them to the dog park 5 times a week for an hour or longer depending on how hot it is
“Sarah was amazing with Zoey. Not only did she provide us with updates (and pictures!) everyday, she made sure our baby got all the love she needed while we were gone. 10/10 would recommend leaving your pet with her and will be looking into it more in the future.”

“Teresa was great! She communicated well and sent us updates on our pups, which we love! Her home was clean and tons of space for our pups. We will absolutely be rebooking with Teresa in the future. :)”

“This is the second time we have used Steven and his family to care for our dog while we were on vacation and not able to bring her! Everything was easy and Edna was well cared for! She even remembered were we were going at drop off and got excited💙 Thank you Steve and family for making it a little easier to leave our pup and not worry!!!”

“Tracy is a very kind loving dog sitter. I have already booked her for my next trip. I finally found a dog sitter who I can trust with my sweet girl. Thank you Tracy for snuggling with her. I appreciate you.”

“Sergio, Bethany and the girls welcomed Tully into their home for a week while I was away and he came back a happy dog. Their home is very dog friendly with a fenced yard. I will definitely reach out in the future to see if they are available when traveling.”

“Mikel was amazing, probably the best dog sitter we’ve ever had! My dog Luca is very complex, he has both physical disabilities and some emotional/behavioral struggles due to a car accident. I went on vacation for the first time since the accident, leaving him with Mikel, and was very nervous and didn’t know what to expect, but Mikel made the whole process so much easier. He kept me constantly updated with pictures and videos and took the time to understand why my dog had certain behaviors and how to try to fix and adapt to them. He would let me know of his concerns, but constantly reassured me that he could handle it, and he did. I am so grateful for his patience and understanding and would recommend him to any and everyone!”

“Thank you, Jackie, for taking such good care of our Annie girl. We really appreciated the daily pics. It assured us she was in good hands with a family that cares. You have a lovely home and I am so happy to have found you. We will definitely be calling you again for our next vacation. ? ?”

“Don’t stress about it and book with Huaqing!! I was extremely nervous about leaving my cat, Muffin, with a new person. She’s usually a very timid and shy cat but with that updates Huaqing sent, I could see she was in caring hands!! Huaqing helped me out in a tough time/very last minute booking and I am very grateful. I definitely plan on reaching out to her again if I’m in need of a sitter.”

“My husband and I boarded our dog Gracie with Danielle for a week. Danielle provided a wonderful, safe haven for her and kept us up to date on how she was doing with cute pictures of her during her stay. We always felt at ease while she was in Danielle’s care. We would highly recommend Danielle to take care of your fur baby and definitely would put Gracie in her care in the future.”

“My dog was extremely well cared for and pampered the whole week I was gone! Sharon sent plenty of pictures to make sure I knew she was doing well! I would most definitely book with her again.”

Always a great experience! We went out of the country for a little over 2 weeks and Laura was very responsive! She sent updates with pictures multiple times a day which I love! Charlie was getting stinky so she gave her a bath which was very appreciated! I always feel safe leaving my Charlie girl with her and her husband! As always, I will recommend her over and over again :)

I left my 15 week old puppy for the first time, and chose Maria to take care of her! Maria went above and beyond for my girl. She send photos and updates to ease my nerves, washed my blankets and towels before pickup. My puppy Prada was sent home with extra toys and a little handmade gift for her first stay ever. After just one stay, I would highly recommend Maria to watch your special furry friends!!

Leah is fantastic! She provides a calm, structured, and peaceful environment that makes you feel completely at ease leaving your dog in her care. She is incredibly attentive to specific routines with a low-stress approach that was necessary for my pet’s needs. **Highly recommended** for anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
