“What a wonderful experience! Bodhi stayed with Jaclyn and William for four nights, and they took amazing care of him. As first-time boarding clients, we were definitely a little nervous, but they quickly put us at ease with daily updates and photos. It was clear that Bodhi was well cared for and comfortable throughout his stay. We’re so grateful for their kindness and communication, and we’ll absolutely be using this wonderful family again in the future.”

“This was the first time boarding our sweet but nervous pup, and Brittany was great! She was super responsive and kept us up-to-date with pictures and messages! Thank you so much!”

“We love this couple and they always take good care of our Princess Leia!! Thank You so much for taking her in last minute this time too!! Leia loves Jorden too!!🐶🐶💙💗🐾”
“Rory had such a great time with Jasmine and family while we were away for 6 days. Rory is generally full of energy and needs a lot of stimulation. She was able to get that at Jasmine’s where she could play in the backyard and also play with other dogs. We’re so pleased to have found a safe place for Rory to go when we need a sitter. 😊 We will book again for sure!”

“We can not recommend Julie enough! Our little guy, Gizmo, was taken care of so well while we were away. The daily pictures are phenomenal and the little updates about his mood are a great added touch! We feel beyond safe and comfortable leaving our little guy in her hands.”

“I am so glad we found a great caregiver for our puppy. Marichelle is very dependable, trustworthy and patient. The next time we're forced to leave our puppy with someone, I know who I'll be contacting!”

“Kelly and Kris took great care of Nora! They send videos of her playing at the park with the other dogs having a good time. They really love dogs and treat them like their own!”

“Gina was fabulous! I’m so glad I found her to watch my little one. I loved the fact that Missy was the only dog there besides Gina’s dog, Bentley. Gina was excellent in keeping in touch and sending me photos every couple days. I’m confident my Missy got a lot of love and attention from Gina and her family. I will definitely use her again.”

“Ari was AMAZING!! Her family was so nice and welcoming and she really made sure we and our dog were comfortable. It was a great experience, especially for our first time leaving our dog with anyone! She sent so many pictures and videos to put our minds at ease. We will definitely book Ari again for any future travel!”

“Celestina was incredible! Great communication while me and my wife were away for the weekend and could not be happier with the love and attention she had for our 3 cats. This was our first time using rover and could not be happier with the outcome! Thank you so much for everything, and we will be using her again for our next adventure away from home.”

“Katie took care of my furr babies while we were on vacation. She went above and beyond to care for them and put my mind and ease. My male cat was stressed and leaving the litter box a disaster daily. I felt terrible as it was supposed to be self cleaning and not much work for her. She took it in stride. Not only did she care for them but she changed the litter and cleaned everything before I came home so I didn’t have to deal with that. What a blessing! I was exhausted from a red eye flight and really appreciated her going the extra mile!”

“Lydia was amazing!! We definitely will be booking her again when we are out of town! She communicates with us if she needs anything and is very respectful of our home I 100000% trust her!”

“Sarah was so understanding with my crazy last minute work schedule. I truly appreciate her flexibility and understanding. She was good to my kitty and kept a good eye out for his health and happiness. Thank you Sarah!”

“Joann was great, would highly recommend. We got lots of detail on how things were going and photos so we could see our girl. I was grateful she was there with our older cat and felt she was with someone who cared as much as we do!”

“Nicolas was so great to work with! I received a daily check in and photo which was greatly appreciated while being far away from home. I absolutely recommend Nicholas! It’s nice to have someone you can trust in your home while you’re away.”

“Natalie was very communicative and quick to get a response from. My cat warmed right up to her and played with her which past cat sitters have been unable to do. I’m planning to book again with her when needed!”

“Tobi did a nice job with house sitting and keeping my fur babies fed and watered. She felt free to ask questions and always responded quickly. Thank you, Tobi. I really appreciate your care for "the girls".”

“Marianna was so attentive and sweet during our meet and greet and to my two kitties when she came for the visit. She was extremely thorough and communicative! I felt very at ease and calm knowing they were in her care. Will certainly rebook!”

“Absolutely THE best sitter!! She understands and interacts with the pets as if they are her own!! The care and love is felt by us, and our fur babies, and (in our case) she understands and finds the humor in the situations that seem to pop up!! 😂 HIGHLY recommend!!”

“Our pets loved Alanna! She's very attentive and made sure to complete the tasks our spoiled fur babies require. Pictures of them were taken everyday which we looked forward to. We are definitely going to book with her again!”

About: I’ve always had a soft spot for animals, mine or otherwise. I also truly believe pets are family, and I know how important it is to trust the person caring for them when you can’t be there. I have over 20 years of experience caring for pets, including experience with senior dogs and cats who may need a little extra patience and attention. I’m comfortable providing medications and following specific care instructions and routines. I also understand that every animal is different. Some love lots of attention and playtime, some are more independent, and others are happiest just having someone nearby. I take the time to get to know each pet and what helps them feel comfortable and cared for. I take the time to learn your pet’s personality, routine, and what makes them comfortable. Most importantly, I want them to feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I currently run my own business from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility in my daily schedule and allows me to be available throughout the day for pet care. I also have two small rescue dogs of my own, so caring for pets is already a natural part of my everyday routine. Because I’m home much of the day, I’m able to provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, attention, and plenty of company. I can also be flexible with feeding schedules, medications, and other routines your pet is used to at home. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely get outside for potty breaks and playtime, along with two small, friendly dogs of my own. My dogs are crated at bedtime, which also gives visiting pets a chance to settle in and have some quiet time. I understand that not every dog wants to be around other dogs all the time, so I can provide your dog with their own separate space when needed or if that is what they are most comfortable with. I’m also happy to follow your pet’s normal feeding, sleeping, medication, and care routines as closely as possible. When caring for pets in their own home, I’m respectful of both your home and your pet’s routine and will follow the care instructions you provide. My priority is making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.

“Absolutely great having Kylee take care of our cat. You can tell she really loves and cares for animals and it showed. She went above and beyond in her service and couldn’t recommend her more!”

“Stephanie was very communicative and always kept me updated on how Bella was doing, photos included. I felt comfortable knowing she was in good hands! I highly recommend Stephanie for all your pet-sitting needs.”

“What can I say except at Cynthia is incredible! Oliver gets so excited as soon as he sees that we are turning onto her street. I’m always at peace when he’s with her because I know that she’s giving him all of the love, snuggles and playtime that he wants and needs. I could ask for a better person to care for my little guy!”

“This was our first time using Rover and we were very pleased with Kelly and Kris! Their dog was so sweet and gentle and got along very well with my girl. They provided pictures and updates, and were very responsive!”

“If you want your fur baby to feel loved and be well cared for in your absence then you absolutely want Alan and his family! Being with Alan was home away from home for Koda. Koda and I both get separation anxiety but was able to rest easy knowing and seeing that he was having a great time. ❤️”

“Keith and family were so great with my little guy! From the moment we met he was so welcoming. It’s such a relief to have a place for my dog to go that I trust he’s being well cared for! Will be booking again in the near future!”

“This was my first time using this service and Brooklyne was great. I will definitely be using her services again. I can tell Kenzo had a great time. He has been asleep since he got home. THANKS AGAIN Brooklyne ❤”

About: I am here for all the little doggies. I have a teacup yorkie myself. Small dogs need a safe place to be loved. Where their little egos can be fed and they can get all the cuddles needed while away from their family. I have a good size backyard, but they aren't allowed out there without supervision for their safety. My neighborhood has beautiful walking paths for daily walks. We have enough room where your dog could have a safe place of their own if he needed at nighttime. I do daily walks with my dog that your dog could join if they like. I work from home full-time so potty breaks and cuddles could be frequent if needed. Also because I work from home, if your dog prefers 3 smaller meals a day I can accommodate that type of scheduled. I would accommodate any diet schedule/accommodations needed. Some medications I could administer if needed. Your dog would get at least one walk per day. Nice backyard for them to play in. Back yard is fully fenced and does not have a pool.
“Nicole watched Pepperjac as a puppy for some time and then we needed a sitter again a specific week months later. Pepperjac recognized the neighborhood and got so excited to be back with Nicole. We know she is taken care of, happy and safe during her stay. Great communication and updates as well. We appreciate you Nicole.”

“Courtney took my dog 🐕 in as a first time visitor on short notice. My normally shy dog seemed to trust and warm up to her and her dogs very quickly. I got great updates throughout the day and Lucy returned to me happy in the evening. I would definitely leave Lucy here again.”

“My dogs haven’t been on any walks for months. Illness took over our ability to walk them. So we decided to hire a dog walker. I found Rover and I’m so glad I did! Nick is outstanding to help get our dogs used to him and then getting back into walking outside again. They are so excited to see Nick and now know that he is taking them for a walk. Nick is awesome handling my over excited, over reactive barking dogs when he comes over! Nick is the best!!!”

“While I was out of town Bridget walked my dog “Tank” 5 consecutive days. She was amazing, pleasant to work with, prompt with messages, she followed my requests exactly, however I am confident I could trust her judgment had she needed to deviate from my requests. My “Tank” loved her…. If needed I will use her again.”

About: In the past 7 years I have raised and trained many dogs, in different venues ranging from basic obedience to dog sports including but not limited to rally, dock diving, scent work, agility, and tricks. I am continuously educating myself in recognizing different dog behaviors, to assess and anticipate their actions based on their body language. During that time I consistently watched over pets, ranging from taking a dog on a walk, to full pet care while their owners were on extended vacations. My personal dogs have accumulated 29 titles in the past 3 years in events from basic obedience to sports like rally, scent work, and tricks. In 2024 I was awarded the highest scoring junior handler of region 2 by the Australian Shepherd Club of America. I work from home with very flexible hours, so I am available to drop in on your pets whenever is most convenient for you, 7 days a week. I consult with all of my clients ahead of time about the handling and care of their pets, and the safety and security of their home.

“Showed up early every morning before the heat to get a small walk in for our older dog! Then played and loved on him the rest of the time. We appreciated you meeting him first and will love keeping you for future trips if your up to it! Sent daily pics in the notes and was very communicative and friendly!”
About: Growing up, my parents always had a family dog in our home. When I turned 18 and went to college, I adopted a puppy that was abandoned in the woods and found on a hike. He became my best friend. He lived to be 14 and passed from old age/ heart murmur, February of 2022. I miss him every day and a friend I taught with, suggested I pet sit! I figured it would be worth a try, as I had pet sit for a few friends and family in the past. In 2022, I gained 30 positive reviews (on Rover) from my fabulous fur friends and their families. In 2023, I gained 17 positive reviews. In 2024, I gained 15 positive reviews. In 2025 I gained 27 positive reviews. I currently have zero negative reviews...I'd LOVE to keep it that way ;) I have several repeat clients and I encourage you to READ my reviews! -I do require a *complimentary* free Meet and Greet visit, prior to our first booking together. This ensures that we are all the best fit for one another! You reach out to me. I'll initiate the scheduling of the meet and greet visit. I usually prefer to schedule these on a Saturday or Sunday- late afternoon. You'd send me your address, as Rover does not display the pet parent's home address until both the pet sitter and pet parent have clicked the "confirm booking" button (located at the top of the message screen in the Rover app.) If you do not have the Rover app, you can use your device to go to Google. Type Rover in the Google search bar to access the website, directly. From there, log in Rover and you can navigate your way to your messages/ rover inbox. This is where you and I will do all of our communicating. Rover duplicates both the pet parent and pet sitter's messages to one another in not only the rover inbox, but also your email associated with Rover...AND your (regular) personal text messages. Drop your phone in the toilet? Just find a device with internet and log in rover. We can still communicate! Whew! Rover does protect the privacy of both the pet sitter and the pet parent, by using an alternate phone number, assigned to each party using the Rover app (this is similar to how Lyft or Uber would use a "fake" phone number for privacy reasons.) When I arrive to your home for the meet and greet, we usually sit in your doorway for the initial hello pets...lots of waggin tails ❤️ Next, we usually sit on your couch for about 30-90 minutes to talk about myself, your pet, your requests, etc. I'm usually petting your fur love as we talk, making sure we're best furrriends! To wrap up our meeting, the pet owner usually walks myself around the home, making sure to show me: The location of pet food, food dishe(s), water dishe(s), medication(s), written directions for your booking (which I will take a photo of to read later,) the bedroom I will be sleeping in, etc. I will make sure your home feels safe and clean, as I always need to keep myself and my other client's safety and health in consideration. Don't worry- your home ***does not*** need to be spotless. However, I unfortunately ***can not*** handle bed bugs, mold, head lice, fleas, ticks, scorpians, spiders, etc. PLEASE, do not waste my gas money, nor my time, by requesting a meet and greet visit, if you have experienced any of these unfortunate situations (within the last 3 years, regardless of your current residence.) I appreciate your honesty more than you'll ever know. At the meet and greet, you may ask to view my fingerprint clearance card. I usually try to remember to have it with me. I do have a reliable vehicle. I have AAA, if I were to experience vehicle issues during your booking. I also understand how to use Uber, Lyft, the city bus and even the light rail. I would always find a way to get home to your fur child. I am highly trustworthy. I am also an incredible judge of character. As long as the pet parent and I feel good about one another at the meet and greet visit, I am confident we will have a successful booking. I do send your home address to my mother, before driving to your home. This way, if you end up being a not- so- great- hooman... well, you know how that goes. ✌️ I do bring pepper spray with me to my visits, so please do not be alarmed by this precaution I take. I love cats and dogs! I love chickens and bunnies, too! Got a Nemo fish? I. got. you. I love getting to know your temperamental cat's colorful personality... Or leaving them to rule the home, while never making direct eye contact- whatever works.. I know the fur friends need our time and most importantly, our love. I will carefully follow directions you leave for me in your home. I am a very clean and organized person and would treat your family member and your home, as my own- with the most respect and care possible. ❤️ Additional services offered, ask at your meet and greet. Extra services will be paid in cash by the pet owner. Money will be left for pet sitter on kitchen counter. Extra services may include: - FREE Daily walks (usually 10-60 minutes in length, depending on weather conditions.) - FREE dog poop pick up [during walks] & throw away poop in nearest dog poop trash bin. - FREE scooping of cat litter box. - Backyard/ Frontyard dog poop pick up & throw away $25/20 minutes of my time, [depends on weather conditions & my energy levels.] - FREE Mail & or package collection *I'm not rushing home to bring your boxes inside, but yay for you!! ✌️ - FREE watering of indoor/ outdoor plants, as long as this takes me less than 10 minutes per day! -FREE trash day bin transporting, from wherever you keep your trash bins, to the front curb of your home. - $25 "House key pick up appointment" (on any day other than meet and greet appointment) *must be paid at time of key pick up appointment. Please note- If you give me the house key the day of the meet and greet, no key pick up appointment needed!!! ✌️ ...If you can use a garage code or front door code, please provide that information to me the day prior/the day of your departure for your booking. You ***do not*** need to give me a key in addition to a door/garage code, unless you want to! I do not let people "hide" the house key, UNLESS you have a working camera, which monitors the location where the key is being hid. If your camera stops working and someone finds your key- that's on you. Another alternative is a house key lock box or even a garage opener works. Please consider giving a trusted person a spare key, in the event something happens to the original key. Tell me what to do if I somehow get locked out. It's never happened, yet! Schedule: Substitute Teacher (I have a flexible schedule. I can select 4 hour/half day teaching days, too!) I work full time in education (all kinds of experience with multi tasking and distributing my attention, evenly, among the babes!) - I have to *be at* work at 7 am until 3 pm, Monday through Friday - I do not work my education job on the weekends, meaning I have some extra time for the fur friends! *I am not home 24/7, but the occasional "I'm not leaving the house for 24 straight hours day" definitely happens. Just depends on energy levels and prior commitments.* - I also have most holidays off work from my education job, as I get vacation when my students do. This means that around busy holiday times when people often travel- I am typically off work from my main job and can be available to watch your fur babies! - **On that note- to clarify, I do not stay in the home 24/7 to watch your animal (even with "overnight" visits.) During an "overnight" booking- I do sleep in your home (I love pet cuddles, if allowed!) On work nights, I sleep (usually) from around 10 pm ish until about 5 am. A normal work day's schedule may look like the following: 5 am: wake up and take fur friend potty 5:15 am: feed and water 5:30 am: take fur friend potty for post meal bathroom use 5:45 am: I lock up and head to my teaching job 12pm ish: I send you a "morning summary" message & a video of your dog eating breakfast. 4 pm: I get home and take your fur friend potty 4:15: I feed and water 4:30 take fur friend potty 4:45 ish: I leave your home and go to the gym. Maybe I grab dinner to take to your home to eat...or maybe I go walk around Target for a bit to unwind! Perhaps I'm too tired to do any of that, find a pizza and stay in & snuggle your fur love all night. It really just depends on the day. ***please understand this is my -second- job. I take it seriously, but you are not paying me to stay in your home 24/7. There ~are~ some pet sitters that are able to do that, I am not. Please understand this ~before scheduling your complimentary meet and greet appointment ❤️ 9 pm ish: I usually get ready for bed with your fur love! 10 pm- midnight ish: I send you an "evening summary" message and a video of your fur love eating dinner! My weekends, look about the same as above referenced. (I do stay up late on Friday and Saturday nights.) During the weekend, I am often home much more than I would be during the work week. (It depends on the day. Some Saturdays I go hiking & out to dinner. Others, I Netflix binge and chill with your pup for 36 straight hours. ... I use common sense. If I was gone a lot during the day prior, I try to even it out and stay in more, the following day. Safety, trust & environment: I care for pets in the pet owners home, not my own home. I maintain good relationships with my clients and really do my best to make everyone happy!! I listen to your suggestions. I take notes. I ask clarifying questions when needed and I believe that clear and effective communication is required on both my end (and the pet owner's end,) in order to maintain a healthy pet and working relationship! I lock doors. I double check that the stove is turned off. I send pictures and videos of your animal, so you can let me know if you notice something I don't. I try my best to prevent any accidents from even being possible. I'm not a perfect pet sitter, but my reviews reflect that I take this job very seriously, because I do ❤️
About: Hello! My name is Madison and I have been surrounded by and cared for pets my whole life! My family had at least 3 or more pets present in the house, and I always enjoyed their presence! I can assure that your fur babies will be cared for, walked, fed, and loved while you're away! I can be available daily, all week long, unless occupied by another owner. I am dedicated to caring for pet's and home's whenever you need! First and foremost, I will ensure that your pets are safe and fed. I can check on them every few hours and even stay the night when needed. I will also be willing to take them on walks, clean up waste and litter boxes, and other small but necessary duties.
“Heidi is amazing! She has this beautiful combination of a peaceful spirit when she’s around the dogs, but she’s extremely high energy and friendly and bubbly and just a really colorful person and I am so glad that we have connected. You can tell that she really does care about the animals and makes it a point. I would imagine to make my dog feel like he’s the only dog in the world and he is happier and more exercised and it really truly has been a blessing!”

“Olivia has been an absolute lifesaver for our family and our dog, Auggie. From day one, she has been incredibly reliable, with perfect attendance and punctuality every single time. Knowing that I can count on her completely gives me so much peace of mind. What truly sets Olivia apart is how much she genuinely cares. Auggie absolutely adores her and gets super excited every time he sees her. As a devoted (and admittedly sometimes overprotective) dog mom, I have plenty of special requests and instructions, and Olivia always listens carefully and follows them without hesitation. She is thoughtful, attentive, and extremely responsible on walks. She takes the time to put Auggie's doggy shoes on before walks and remove them afterward, makes his safety a priority, and is always aware of his surroundings. It's obvious that she treats him as if he were her own. If you're looking for someone who is dependable, trustworthy, caring, and truly exceptional with dogs, I cannot recommend Olivia highly enough. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found her, and Auggie agrees!”

About: I’ve trained my own dogs all their tricks. I love to play with dogs and teach them new things, I have two French bulldogs and also two pit bulls so size doesn’t matter! Im currently working and my schedule varies but I can get anytime off and am still available! Weekends are always open for me as well. My dogs are kept on harnesses with leashes. They were fully potty trained but when they weren’t we took them out every hour. They get two walks a day, and two meals.

About: I’ve been caring for pets for years, including dog and cat sitting and overnight stays so pets can feel comfortable in their own home. I’ve also grown up with dogs, so I understand their routines and needs. I’m reliable, attentive, and treat every pet like my own—whether that’s walks, playtime, or sticking to their schedule. Many clients have referred their friends to me after seeing how well I care for their pets, which shows the trust I build with both pets and owners! I’m currently a student, but I have plenty of availability outside of my classes. I work part-time, which gives me flexible hours to check on pets, go on walks, and provide consistent care throughout the day and evenings. I always prioritize a pet’s safety, comfort, and routine. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely, keep the environment clean, and make sure pets feel secure and cared for. I pay attention to details like feeding schedules, walks, and any special needs, and I treat every home and pet with respect and care.

“Kelly and Kris took great care of Nora! They send videos of her playing at the park with the other dogs having a good time. They really love dogs and treat them like their own!”

“Outstanding experience boarding our dog with Christina. She was extremely conscientious and genuinely caring, and it really showed in her frequent updates and photos. Will use her in the future for sure.”

“Briana was absolutely wonderful! She was easy to communicate with and took great care of Daisy! She sent me pictures every day updating me on how she was doing. Daisy was very happy there! I will definitely use Briana again in the future!”

“Ashley and Tony took such great care of Rocco during his stay. They sent tons of photos and videos daily which I appreciated to see how much fun he was having. 10/10 would recommend and would rebook in the future. Thank you so much!!”

“Carrie is so thoughtful and caring! My dog loved her. She gave him lots of attention and playtime. She kept me updated the whole time. I plan to use her again in the future! Thank you so much Carrie!!”

“Jessica and Adam take wonderful care of our dogs while we are away. She sends adorable pictures and videos. She is very responsive to messages. Wonderful sitter!”

“Richard is an exceptional caregiver. My two mutts LOVED their time away from mum and it showed in their affection for Richard when I returned to bring them back home. Richard is responsive and prompt with communication, and he was willing to accommodate our normal feeding and outdoor schedules. We received lots of photos and some video. Rio and Beau settled in quickly and always looked relaxed and content. I've been a Rover client for many caregivers across the country because my husband and I travel for work. It's always a little nerve-racking trying to find a new caregiver and I feel so very blessed to have found Richard and his wife Debbie. We are looking forward to being repeat clients. We will see you guys soon! Highly recommend 🤩🤩🤩”

“Shego can be stubborn, independent, and is not always easy to manage due to her size and temperament. Despite that, DJ handled her with patience, confidence, and genuine care. He took the time to understand her personality, followed all of my care instructions, and made sure she received plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. Throughout the week, DJ kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. When I returned home, Shego was relaxed, healthy, and clearly well cared for.”

“Eric was truly amazing, believe every single outstanding review. It is very clear that he and his husband are so caring and loving towards the animals they keep. My two pups seemed comfortable and content the entire 5 days we were gone like they were with family. My husband and I went on a cruise and didn't have the best service but that didn't stop Eric from updating us everyday with pictures, videos, and a rundown of the day. And of course we cannot forget the cutest portraits of my pups that he took. Those are definitely our new favorite pictures! Anyone would be lucky to book with this household!”

“Krysten was always quick to respond and considerate, she sent photos, and she was mindful of ways to make our little dog comfortable and happy! Thank you so much!”

“I would highly recommend Vanessa! We had never left our pup to anyone before and Vanessa made it a very smooth and easy transition. I did not worry while we were on our vacation. She sent lots of updates, pictures, and video of our pup and I knew she was safe and well. Will definitely book Vanessa again for our Rover needs!”

“Eric and his family took great care of our precious pup, Cash. I received daily communications and photos and felt great knowing that he was in good hands. I will definitely book through them again.”
