“Megan was great with Mac. Ive only had him a few weeks, so I wasnt sure how he would do at daycare, but Megan has a real way with dogs. Everything went well and Mac got to get some exposure to kids and other dogs.”

“This couple was so easy to work with! They were so kind and accommodating to our busy and unpredictable schedule. Duke had a blast getting to play fetch on a large property and is now one worn out puppy dog. We will definitely rebook!!!”
“Donna is Amazing! She is so gentle and kind and attentive with the pups!!! Martha is our high anxiety girl who has trust issues. She did Awesome with Donna and the daycare! So appreciate the updates and pictures… already making plans for future daycare and overnights with Donna!! ??”

“Charlie was on vacation for a month and he really missed Margaretha! I think she missed him a little bit too! He has such a good time and she is such an awesome lady with all the dogs! We really like getting the videos during the day! We HIGHLY recommend Margaretha to any one looking for someone to care for their fur baby.”

“Pamela was absolutely amazing with our dog and made the entire experience stress-free. She was very responsive, kept us updated with messages and photos, and made us feel completely comfortable leaving our dog in her care. It was obvious our dog was well cared for and happy the whole time. We would absolutely use her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.”

“She did an amazing job at taking care of my puppy, brushed him and cleaned his eyes without us even asking. She monitored his food and water intake as well as bathroom breaks, responded fast and sent the cutest photos. Lastly he fell right to sleep once we got home, you can tell her had a great day and had lots of fun.”

“Fantastic sitter! Snapple has been so happy to have company as she has separation anxiety. Lisa and family make her feel relaxed and at home! Will 100% continue to book as needed! Thank you!!”

About: I grew up around animals and have loved and cared for them all of my life including dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, chickens, snakes, and a mini pig named Tucker! I can't imagine life without them. (Have exotic pets, I'm cool with that too!) I am responsible, reliable and dependable. I will follow all special instructions for each pet in my care. I will love and care for your fur babies just like my own, using care and caution when pet sitting within your home to keep your pets happy in their own safe environment. You are always welcome to check in with me to see how your pets are doing each day. I hope to meet you and your furry family soon so you can take time away with peace of mind that they are well taken care of!
“Melissa and her family took great care of our 1st-timers! They were clearly well-cared for and even received a mini spa day while they were there for the day. We would definitely visit them again!”

“I was super anxious about leaving Molly with someone new as my pup is extremely anxious and gets very stressed and our regular sitter is away in collage. Antonia and her husband not only did amazing but they both just have a super calm demeanor that they automatically put me at ease. I knew Molly will be in good hands the minute I met them. Antonia went as far as trimming my pups nails too, which at times I feel are made of concrete. Molly is a bit apprehensive of men and I don't know what kind of magic her hubby did on my dog but she automatically took to him. Clearly the pictures speak a thousand words. The updates were so needed in my case and getting pictures throughout her stay was very appreciated as I am probably more anxious than my dog. Thank you again Antonia for all you have done today.”

“Wonderful visit and great communication, appreciate all the effort that went into making Boudreaux feel right at home. Would definitely recommend and use again!”

About: I have prior experience in a vet office, i have had multiple different types of family pets since I was young. Have had pet trainers in the family. I work from home, your pup will never feel alone and will receive plenty of attention throughout the day. My 12-year-old daughter, who absolutely adores dogs, will also shower them with love and extra cuddles. We’re home most weekends, ensuring a cozy, safe, and fun atmosphere for your pet. Whether it's playtime, relaxation, or just feeling at home, we make sure your pup enjoys every moment!" We have a large fenced yard with grass. We currently do not have another fur baby at this time.. My senior boy crossed the rainbow bridge a little while ago. So now we just want to love on other's and help where we can. We have a desert tortoise who roams the backyard and minds her own business. I do not have a doggy door, my prior dogs have all been trained to alert me or where on schedule or just got potty breaks when needed.

“I was so nervous leaving my pup to a stranger but I couldn’t be any more happy with James and his family watching over my pup! My pup is so attached to me and is picky with the people he interacts with but he was so happy and calm when I got him back. I received constant updates on how he was doing and a lot of pictures, which I was happy with. Definitely making them my regular go-to-fam to watch my pup!:) Thank you again for watching Prince Jameson, see you soon!”

“Tony and his wife were fabulous. Bliss enjoyed her vacation. Tony played lots of ball with her which is her favorite thing to do. They kept her safe and send a picture of her looking happy in their yard. We will definitely use them again and would recommend you to as well!”

“Ericka and her family was fantastic with keeping Ollie during my time away out of town. I would recommend her services to my family and friends.. Thank you so very much!!”

“What can I say except at Cynthia is incredible! Oliver gets so excited as soon as he sees that we are turning onto her street. I’m always at peace when he’s with her because I know that she’s giving him all of the love, snuggles and playtime that he wants and needs. Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Sacaton commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 1,352 sitters in Sacaton, 88% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
