We were so nervous as this was Nyx’s first time without us, just moved to AZ and didn’t know anyone… aaand we would be gone for an entire week. After meeting the family our fears went from 100 to ZERO, and we truly felt like this was the closest he could get to actually feeling like he was home with us. This is very dependent on the dog, their comfort with me, etc.) I cared for my 13 year-old Lab-mix, Jackson, 24/7 while working from home during Covid lockdowns. Two of those years he was unable to walk unassisted and 100% of his mobility relied on me to go up and down stairs, outside to the bathroom, etc. In my life I have rescued and raised a squirrel pup, many cats, kittens, many dogs, and now I have a 1 year-old pup at home that I have rescued now that I've moved here to AZ. (in my picture!) If you need someone to just give some attention, snuggle, exercise, or anything in between! I am currently laid off and can provide nearly any level of support you need within reason. (I do have a pup at home myself that loves and misses me!) Whatever works best for you and your babies; drop-ins, walks, bathroom breaks only, exercise (light jog for a few miles if they're good on a leash with me!), throwing a ball, playing tug-o-war with rope, whatever they need or want! About: I’ve only taken care of a friend of mines cat who is strictly indoors and was responsible for playing with her for a good few minutes at their house as I house sat as well. They have 2 dogs as well that I cared for at the same time and made sure to give them attention as well. I made sure to feed the exact amount told to me as well as clean the litter every day before bed. I am in the vet field and am capable of administering medications if needed either orally or by injections including pets who are diabetic! I would love to expand my skills and knowledge by creating more furry friends to care for!

About: My experience with dogs started in my childwood, with my Grandfather, he raised a line of German Sheppards in his farm and all the time he had new poppies they end up with me and my mom until they were big enought to interact with the old ones in the farm. As a adult, I have Eva, a 9 years old Golden Retriver, my wife has 2 dogs that stayed in Brazil with her family: a german sheppard and a spritzel. We love dog, we love to play with them, teach some tricks, all the things that make dog the men's (and women's) best friend. I came to the US to work in a tech company here in Chandler Arizona, my wife is a nurse and since we can from Brazil in January she still studying (2 days per week) english to be able to work here, so she has 100% avaiablity to help me with the dogs. We have flexible hours and can handle at least 2 "extra" dogs per week. We live in a big home in Chandler (Ocotillo). We have a nice backward where they can play (when the weather is nice) and we also normally walk the dogs every night during the summer (when it's coller) and normally during the day in the winter time. The house has all the protections and is already adapt to dogs since Eva lives here with us.
About: While I am new to Rover, I have been caring for my friends, family, and neighbors pets for the last 30 yrs. Just like humans, no two dogs are a like, so every job is catered specifically to your pets needs. I know how stressful travel can be on our animals so I always approach each assignment with extreme calm, patience, and positivity. I am a big believer in positive reinforcement. I take AZ heat very seriously and am always on the look out for animals getting overheated. I will also always check the temperature of the sidewalk before heading out for a walk. If I'm caring for a pet in your home my in home visits include *Feeding and fresh water (I'll also keep the bowls clean) *Potty breaks *Playtime or cuddles *walks or enrichment time *medication management (if needed) *Mail collection *plant watering. If there is something you need done and it can be completed within the 30 min timeframe Id be happy to help. My goal is for your pup to feel happy, fed, and loved everyday before I leave. At my home I have a medium size fenced yard that is half grass half dirt. I also have a designated dig pit for the dogs who love to dig. I have a one yr old, male, 25lb mini Aussie/terrier mix, who is the welcome wagon and loves all dogs. He's available all day long to play or just cuddle in the sun. In the winter he gets walked 3 times a day and in the summer we go early in the am and late at night. We also enjoy going to the park when it is empty or hiking. I have a medium size crate in my bedroom but there is room for a larger one. If your pup prefers to sleep in his crate alone, I also have a guest bedroom they can go in. But I usually suggest letting your dog sleep in his crate or dog bed in my room since its a new environment.

About: I have 3 rescue dogs one is a Doxiepoo (half dachshund half poodle) and the other two are dachshunds. They are crate trained. I have loved dogs since I can remember, I can help with training while in my home and they have a huge yard to play in! I can only take dogs under 40lbs. I currently work part time from home and have plenty of time to spend with your pup. I do have a covered patio for them to hang out and is shaded for part of the day. I have a huge fenced yard and 3 pups of my own. I do have other crates if needed for the times I need to run errands and while I work. They will have frequent potty breaks for the times I am working. Where their little egos can be fed and they can get all the cuddles needed while away from their family. I have a good size backyard, but they aren't allowed out there without supervision for their safety. My neighborhood has beautiful walking paths for daily walks. We have enough room where your dog could have a safe place of their own if he needed at nighttime. I do daily walks with my dog that your dog could join if they like. I work from home full-time so potty breaks and cuddles could be frequent if needed. Also because I work from home, if your dog prefers 3 smaller meals a day I can accommodate that type of scheduled. I would accommodate any diet schedule/accommodations needed. Some medications I could administer if needed. Your dog would get at least one walk per day. Nice backyard for them to play in. Back yard is fully fenced and does not have a pool.

About: I’ve trained my own dogs all their tricks. I love to play with dogs and teach them new things, I have two French bulldogs and also two pit bulls so size doesn’t matter! Im currently working and my schedule varies but I can get anytime off and am still available! Weekends are always open for me as well. My dogs are kept on harnesses with leashes. About: My husband and I recently moves to Maricopa. We are new to the area but would love to share our amazing backyard with your fur babies! I grew up in a house with 13 dogs in my childhood house, I’m pretty sure that’s close to being insane. But here I am, still looking for more dogs to care for. I was looking to adopt another dog but my husband and I cannot since we are expecting this year, so please let your dogs fill this hole in our heart by trusting us to take good care of them. As far as I know, you’re allowing your dogs to keep me company while I stay at home! ❤️ I work from home so I am pretty flexible to take them out for a walk anytime upon request. At most I take them out 4-5 times a day and make sure by the end of my work day, by request I can take them out on walks around our neighborhood! I make sure I have multiple non plastic water bowls out. And I allow them to spend time at the backyard monitored since it is can be very hot out. I make sure to check in with dogs’ owners about food restrictions and medications beforehand to make sure I don’t give them treats they can’t have.
