We were so nervous as this was Nyx’s first time without us, just moved to AZ and didn’t know anyone… aaand we would be gone for an entire week. After meeting the family our fears went from 100 to ZERO, and we truly felt like this was the closest he could get to actually feeling like he was home with us. Not only did they put us completely at ease, but we were in a situation where we didn’t have service and I still randomly got multiple photos/videos/updates everyday even though they knew they might not go through.. which I so appreciated. They went above and beyond treating him like family and when we picked him up he was even freshly washed with all his mats brushed out, cuter and floofier than when we left him!! “From the very beginning, Emma was professional and personable. She accommodated a last-minute booking with no hesitation, and the entire process was easy to set up. She was great to work with and even offered pick-up and drop-off, which made things even more convenient. My dog Ruby has separation anxiety, and this was my first time leaving her with someone new, so I was nervous. But from drop-off to pick-up, everything went seamlessly. Ruby is usually a stage five clinger, but she went with Emma immediately without even looking back, which was both surprising and reassuring. Emma communicated throughout the stay, sending updates and pictures that really put my mind at ease. I ended up picking Ruby up early with little notice, and Emma was incredibly accommodating. Ruby came out happy and relaxed, tail wagging. It’s clear Emma truly cares about the dogs she watches. I will absolutely use her again and recommend her without hesitation.”

Every dog is different, but I've been trained by veterinary professionals.) I cared for my 13 year-old Lab-mix, Jackson, 24/7 while working from home during Covid lockdowns. Two of those years he was unable to walk unassisted and 100% of his mobility relied on me to go up and down stairs, outside to the bathroom, etc. He needed medications 4 times per day, and so I understand the struggles. In my life I have rescued and raised a squirrel pup, many cats, kittens, dogs, and now I have a 1 year-old pup at home that I have rescued since I just moved here to AZ. (in my picture! Meet Andromeda!) Meet and greets can be done in your home, a park, or wherever you and your pets are comfy! I am currently laid off and can provide nearly any level of support you need within reason. (I do have a pup at home myself that loves and misses me!) I love walking, but I do have physical limits. After sundown is obviously best, but I'm available early mornings too. Mid-day walks are rough on everyone, but I can handle them. I carry TONS of water and ice packs for both the pets and myself. Whatever works best for you and your babies; drop-ins, walks, bathroom breaks only, exercise (light jog for a few miles if they're good on a leash with me!), throwing a ball, playing tug-o-war with rope, whatever they need or want! Low energy? High energy? I'm their man.

About: My experience with dogs started in my childwood, with my Grandfather, he raised a line of German Sheppards in his farm and all the time he had new poppies they end up with me and my mom until they were big enought to interact with the old ones in the farm. As a adult, I have Eva, a 9 years old Golden Retriver, my wife has 2 dogs that stayed in Brazil with her family: a german sheppard and a spritzel. About: While I am new to Rover, I have been caring for my friends, family, and neighbors pets for the last 30 yrs. Just like humans, no two dogs are a like, so every job is catered specifically to your pets needs. In the warmer months I'll set an alarm early so we can still spend a few hrs outside before it gets too hot. I like to set up a kiddy pool so all of the pups can run around and cool off. I take AZ heat very seriously and am always on the look out for animals getting overheated. I will also always check the temperature of the sidewalk before heading out for a walk. If I'm caring for a pet in your home my in home visits include *Feeding and fresh water (I'll also keep the bowls clean) *Potty breaks *Playtime or cuddles *walks or enrichment time *medication management (if needed) *Mail collection *plant watering. If there is something you need done and it can be completed within the 30 min timeframe Id be happy to help. My goal is for your pup to feel happy, fed, and loved everyday before I leave. At my home I have a medium size fenced yard that is half grass half dirt. I also have a designated dig pit for the dogs who love to dig. I have a one yr old, male, 25lb mini Aussie/terrier mix, who is the welcome wagon and loves all dogs. He's available all day long to play or just cuddle in the sun. In the winter he gets walked 3 times a day and in the summer we go early in the am and late at night. We also enjoy going to the park when it is empty or hiking. I have a medium size crate in my bedroom but there is room for a larger one. If your pup prefers to sleep in his crate alone, I also have a guest bedroom they can go in. But I usually suggest letting your dog sleep in his crate or dog bed in my room since its a new environment.

About: I’ve trained my own dogs all their tricks. I love to play with dogs and teach them new things, I have two French bulldogs and also two pit bulls so size doesn’t matter! Im currently working and my schedule varies but I can get anytime off and am still available! Weekends are always open for me as well. My dogs are kept on harnesses with leashes. They were fully potty trained but when they weren’t we took them out every hour. They get two walks a day, and two meals.

Every dog is different, but I've been trained by veterinary professionals.) I cared for my 13 year-old Lab-mix, Jackson, 24/7 while working from home during Covid lockdowns. Two of those years he was unable to walk unassisted and 100% of his mobility relied on me to go up and down stairs, outside to the bathroom, etc. He needed medications 4 times per day, and so I understand the struggles. In my life I have rescued and raised a squirrel pup, many cats, kittens, dogs, and now I have a 1 year-old pup at home that I have rescued since I just moved here to AZ. (in my picture! Meet Andromeda!) Meet and greets can be done in your home, a park, or wherever you and your pets are comfy! I am currently laid off and can provide nearly any level of support you need within reason. (I do have a pup at home myself that loves and misses me!) I love walking, but I do have physical limits. After sundown is obviously best, but I'm available early mornings too. Mid-day walks are rough on everyone, but I can handle them. I carry TONS of water and ice packs for both the pets and myself. Whatever works best for you and your babies; drop-ins, walks, bathroom breaks only, exercise (light jog for a few miles if they're good on a leash with me!), throwing a ball, playing tug-o-war with rope, whatever they need or want!
