I used to have two small dogs, Bella (Chihuahua) and Scotty (Chiweenie), who were my fur-babies for over 15 years. I’ve cared for them since they were puppies into their senior years. About: My experience with dogs started before I brought George home in 2018. I spent significant time preparing for dog ownership and followed a training book step-by-step throughout his development, working on obedience, routines, boundaries, socialization, and good behavior. Over the years, I also became a frequent guest at a private dog training facility and dog park. Spending time around trainers and many different dogs helped me develop a better understanding of dog behavior, socialization, and training. I eventually became a regular part of the community and an “honorary sheriff,” helping support activities around the facility. In 2025, we adopted Lucas and successfully integrated him into our household, established his routine, and continued working with him on training and good habits. George and Lucas are part of our everyday family life, and visiting dogs will be treated the same way. Dogs are free to roam and sleep throughout our home, and they have access to a doggy door for added convenience. I walk George and Lucas every morning and evening, typically for 15–45 minutes per walk, and guest dogs can join the routine based on their needs and abilities. I work from home full-time, and my wife also works from home two days a week, so dogs staying with us will have plenty of supervision, interaction, and company throughout the day. I’m happy to accommodate individual feeding schedules and medication instructions as well. For larger dogs, I require a meet-and-greet before booking so we can make sure everyone is comfortable together. For other dogs, I’m always happy to arrange one if you prefer. Our goal is simple: when your dog stays with us, they become part of our family and our daily routine, not just a boarding guest. I work from home full-time, so I’m able to provide plenty of attention, supervision, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. Our routine also includes morning and evening walks, and I can accommodate each dog’s normal feeding, exercise, and medication schedule. Dogs in our home are treated like part of the family and are free to relax and spend time with us throughout the day. I follow each owner’s instructions closely, including feeding, medications, exercise, and routines.
