“I was lucky to find James on Rover. He accepted my last minute urgent situation and kindly provided excellent sitting and care for my little Papillon. Extended his time and services to get dog food and treats while I was gone all week. He is someone to trust and I recommend him !!! Denise P.”

About: I love animals. I worked at as a Veterinary Tech for 8 years. Where I walked, feed, medicated, and grooms dogs and cats. I am very passionate about dogs getting potty breaks and exercise. I love walking dogs. Animals tend to gravitate towards me when I enter a house. I also love cats and the therapy that they bring. Cats are amazing in the skills that they have so I love being around them. I am great with all breeds from large to tiny. Smaller dogs need lots of extra loving such as sitting in laps and larger dogs tend usually to like fetch and outside activities I am also very comfortable about dispensing medication if needed and if instructions are left for me to follow.
“I will definitely be rebooking with Junjie again, my kitten Teddy absolutely loved her and was well taken care of! She provided very thorough notes and details of each visit and was amazing with him. She made sure he was comfortable and well taken care of and I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter!”

“Bella was a great help to us with some last minute bookings for our cat. She was always on time for each visit and took great care while we were away. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Ana was so supportive during her time dog sitting for me! She was very communicative, showed up on time, and was very helpful when one of my pups got sick. I highly recommend, thank you for taking such good care of them!!”

“This was our first booking with Avery and she is wonderful. She provided photos and updates. Our dog seemed more calm and relaxed around her with each visit. We can’t wait to use her services again.”

“Theresa took great care of my two kitties while I was out of town for two weeks! The girls warmed up to her immediately which is saying something as my youngest is usually very sketchy around people she does not know! I got daily pictures and can see them Playing with Theresa which was wonderful! Though I missed them terribly, I did not worry about them under Theresa’s great care! Very Happy !!!”

“Desiree clearly cares very deeply for her clients. Layla adores her and I feel secure knowing Desiree has everything under control and Layla will be safe and happy in her care. Thank you so very much!”
“Jadon did an amazing job caring for my two cats while I was away. He consistently sent photos and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind and made me feel like I could truly trust him with my pets and my home. What stood out the most was seeing how comfortable my cats were with him in the pictures. They're usually selective about people, and it was obvious that they trusted him and felt safe in his care. I would absolutely recommend Jadon to anyone. He’s truly reliable, thoughtful, and trustworthy.”

“Ashley is great! This is the 2nd time that she has watched my cat and she does a great job. She is prompt and sends pictures whenever she stops by. I would highly recommend her services!”

“Carly took wonderful care of our dog, Rosa, for five days, visiting our home twice a day to feed her and spend time with her. She sent us photos after every visit, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Rosa was happy and relaxed when we got home, and we could tell she had been very well cared for. We would definitely book Carly again and highly recommend her!”

“Veronika was a great sport about a somewhat irregular cat sitting gig of looking after a semi-stray cat I have been feeding for several months. She sounded honestly happy and pleased the one time she saw the cat in the yard. Very reliable and easy to work with.”

“Tabbitha took excellent care of my kitties and promptly sent me visit cards with photos each time, which I really appreciated. She is quick to respond to messages and I felt relieved to have someone so caring and conscientious looking after my kids while I was away.”

“Morgan was fantastic! She was punctual and gave me a summary after the drop in. I really appreciate that they made sure Asami got a potty break. I would happily trust them with my dog again.”

About: My experience caring for family pets began at 16 years old. A noteworthy pet sitting involved caring for a household with one female dog, her six newly born puppies, two adolescent dogs, and a senior dog for a week and a half. I believe this highs shows my ability to handle diverse pet household needs. Also, I have gained some experience in pet care for cats since October 2023. I work 12-hour shifts from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and every other Wednesday. I am available every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, along with every other Wednesday. I can inform you if I have that week's Wednesday off or not when you send your request. As a pet owner of a dog and a cat, I understand that each pet requires a unique approach to their daily habits and needs. I will stand by your instructions for the care of your pet(s), with the consideration I expect when others care for my own pets when I'm away. I hold no judgment over their care needs.

My cats love having Isabella and her sister visit them while we are gone on vacation! She doesn’t just feeds them, but also hangs out with them and makes sure they get some people time in while we are away. So happy with Isabella as our pet sitter and highly recommend her!

She was absolutely wonderful! Very nice, dependable, and punctual for every visit. She communicated with me each time she stopped by and kept me updated, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She followed all of my instructions carefully and made sure my cat was well taken care of. I really appreciated how reliable and attentive she was throughout the entire booking. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their pet! 🐾💕

This is my second time booking with Adrienne and she’s still so amazing :) Her report cards are so detailed and she sends so many photos which I absolutely love. She cares so much for Fiona May and not only makes sure she is safe and well fed but also properly stimulated and loved. As a helicopter bunny mom, I feel like I’ve won the lottery finding Adrienne. She is truly special.
Courtney did a phenomenal job with my cat Domi. She went out of her way to make sure my baby felt comfortable while I was away. She checked in on her every day, fed her, filled her feeder and went above and beyond for my girl. She is professional and trustworthy. I highly recommend Courtney to anyone looking for a phenomenal care taker for their pets.

Milla watched my cats for a long trip and she is great at communicating and was very professional. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter. She responded quickly when I had questions and my cats really liked her. She kept my space clean and tidy for when I came home as well. Thank you Milla!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
