“Kim was fantastic to communicate with. It gave us a peace of mind knowing she has experience with energetic young dogs. Our pup had a great time with her and she gave us consistent check ins and photos. She was flexible, prompt, kind and warm. We highly recommend working with Kim.”

“We love Rae! And so does our discerning old cattle dog! She’s been caring for him for years, and we trust her implicitly to adapt if things don’t go as planned (like he refuses to take his meds 🙃).”

“We had such a great experience with Nancy! She took wonderful care of our cat while we were away for a long weekend. She was very communicative once booked and sent lots of photos and videos during each visit. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. We will definitely be booking with Nancy again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

About: I feel like I have a special gift with animals. Every Furry Friend is different and when their Parents go away they're all going to have their unique needs to make everything okay. I have a genuine love for animals. I stay 100% of the time at your house. Your home becomes my home base. I won't leave for more than 4 hours. I am retired. I can't think of a better way to spend my time than with animals. An extra bonus is being around unconditional love all the time! My experience with overnight care is your pets do so much.better in their own home. Smells, Toys, all their Stuff. I try to stick as close to their normal routine as possible.
About: For the past 14 years, dogs have been a constant in my life. Not just my own, but friends' and family's too. Puppies, seniors, high-energy breeds, anxious dogs, multi-dog household. I've spent real time with all of it, learning that every dog needs something a little different, and that paying attention, keeping their routine, making them feel safe and loved is the whole job. I structure my days so a dog's needs never come second. Because I run my own schedule, pet care isn't something I'm trying to squeeze in between other commitments. It's something I build my week around. Some weeks that means set blocks of time I protect on purpose; other weeks it shifts depending on what's going on, but the dogs in my care are never an afterthought to fit in wherever there's room. Walks, meals, playtime, potty breaks, and enrichment all happen on a real schedule, not a generic one, but the one that actually works for the dog I'm caring for. Here's what safety and consistency actually look like, service by service. DROP-INS: Visits run 30 minutes, with longer time available. Potty break, feeding, fresh water, enrichment/play time would be my suggestion. But if you have a different routine you’d like me follow please let me know. Quick doesn't mean rushed. Calm, efficient, connected is the goal. HOUSE SITTING: I stay in your home for the full length of the booking. I won't be taking on other responsibilities beyond the care of your dogs and home. This is the highest level of care I offer, and it's priced that way. You're not booking a visit. You're booking someone who's actually there. The only times I'd be away for a longer stretch are quick grocery runs or errands for the dogs, or if your booking falls over a weekend. I attend church on Sundays and would be at service for approximately 2 hours. Meals, walks, medication, and playtime happen on the schedule you set. If you're not a schedule type of person, then just let me know what you would require in terms of responsibility on my end. Overnight, your dog stays wherever they normally would. If that's the bed, it's the bed. If that's their own spot, it's their own spot. I follow your house, not the other way around. If you have any plants that need watering, or mail/packages that need to come in, I'm happy to include that in my service. Pictures: I love taking them. I have an eye for capturing great moments, so unless you tell me otherwise, I'll be sending them your way. Communication: This is based on your comfort level. I typically send one update in the morning and one in the evening, but if you'd like more or less, just tell me. Hopefully I've covered everything. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out :)
“Bailey does a great job with our senior dog. She is very communicative and keeps us informed. She’s is quick to notice anything that might need attention and goes above and beyond. Most importantly, we get back home to a happy and well cared for fur-baby. 😊”

About: I've owned my dog, Sparrow, for just over 2 years now. Additionally, I spent most of college watching my friends' pets, taking them out on walks/hikes and providing extended care when they were out of town. I work most days from home allowing me to provide constant care and attention. When your pet is with me they will be constantly cared for and attended to. I have a large fenced backyard giving your pet space to roam and explore safely. My dog Sparrow is very friendly and will love to have a friend to spend time with.
“Michelle was amazing and took great care of Zen and Leo while I was away on my business trip. She was very friendly and flexible about times and instructions and was very communicative throughout the whole process. Will definitely be using her again the next time I need to go out of town! 😁”

“Devinnie was so amazing and accommodating! I really appreciated meeting her before I left. She went above and beyond my expectations. I will definitely ask for her again!”

“Trisha was perfect! She cleaned up while I was having an emergency and my dog had a fantastic time with her. She was able to fill the request last minute. Best experience ever!”

“John is amazing! He is very communicative and takes great care of my cat Oliver. He sends lots of pictures and updates. Will definitely be using him again!”

About: I've always been the go-to pet sitter for friends and family because I genuinely love animals of all kinds. I grew up caring for our family dogs, helped friends with their puppies in college, and even helped raise a litter of stray kittens that are now my old roommate's spoiled fur babies. I also volunteered at the Arizona Animal Welfare League, where I got to spend even more time caring for animals. Whether they're big or small, shy or energetic, I'll love and care for your pets like they're my own. My schedule is pretty flexible right now, so I'm available for walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays. I really just enjoy spending time with animals, and I love getting to know each pet's personality. I'll make sure your pets get lots of love and attention while you're away, just like I'd want for my own. I know pets are usually most comfortable in their own home, so I do my best to keep their routine as normal as possible while you're away. Whether that's going for walks, playing, giving lots of cuddles, or just hanging out with them, I want them to feel comfortable and loved. I'll also make sure to stick to their feeding schedule and any other care they need, and I'll always send updates and photos so you know how they're doing.
“Shelby is so sweet and personable and she took great care of my dog Nash who loves to pull on the leash and pee on every bush he sees lol. She is great with communication and sent me multiple pictures which I loved 🥰 Would absolutely recommend her to care for your fur babies!!”

“Katie is wonderful. Easy to communicate with and made leaving our old man at home easy knowing he was in capable hands. Photos and updates were great and correspondence over our worries about him were put to ease. Thank you for being great!!”

“Liz and Taylor are AWESOME! They are my regular dog sitters, and they are very communicative, personable, dependable, and most importantly my very anxious greyhound absolutely loves them! They always made sure my dog and my home are well taken care of when they come over for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight stays. All of my instructions are closely followed and my home is clean when they leave; I never have to worry while I'm at work or on a trip/vacation. Lastly, they take great pictures of Sonic while on a walk or just playing/chilling at home! I highly recommend them for all your dog walking and sitting needs!”

“Candace is super nice and great with pups! She did an awesome job checking in on our 11 week old Labradoodle. She did 4 visits for us and we will definitely re-book her the next time we need someone!! Highly recommend her! :)”

Elisa is my cat’s primary sitter and is the absolute best. The care, concern, and time she shows my baby girl is incredible and very much appreciated. Elisa is also very detail oriented and responsive, which gives me peace of mind. If you’re looking for a sitter, I highly recommend Elisa. She loves animals and makes caring for them a priority. When Elisa watches my cat, I know she is in good hands.

Trisha was fantastic! We needed a cat sitter on very short notice due to flooding and construction issues in the bedroom of our apartment, and she was a lifesaver. She provided helpful updates, sent tons of cute photos, and took wonderful care of our cats. We recently moved out of range of our old sitter and have officially found our new favorite. Thank you so much Trisha, we can’t recommend you enough! 💞🐾

Nancy was incredibly attentive to my two kitties' needs. I have one cat who hides around new people and makes it difficult to nurture, hands-on. And one cat that was not feeling well and had a couple of accidents (which is not normal, so we were very worried). She remained in communication during each visit and adjusted needs as we went along to ensure they were eating well and as comfortable as possible while we were away. She is very caring and patient, accommodating, and thorough. She read our care plan instructions and referenced each need each day. I appreciate the time and care she gave to our little ones, and in our home. I would recommend Nancy for anyone who needs a great, caring sitter!

Alexa did a great job with everything I asked and my babies were happy to have her check in daily. My one cat is very friendly and needs attention so for Alexa to come and check on her that means the world to her. She was very responsive and sent daily photos of my cat during each of her check ins which helped ease some of the anxiety a pet owner may face when traveling and leaving them back home. Thank you so much, highly recommend Alexa for future stays.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
