About: I feel like I have a special gift with animals. Every Furry Friend is different and when their Parents go away they're all going to have their unique needs to make everything okay. I have a genuine love for animals. I stay 100% of the time at your house. Your home becomes my home base. I won't leave for more than 4 hours. I am retired. I can't think of a better way to spend my time than with animals. An extra bonus is being around unconditional love all the time! My experience with overnight care is your pets do so much.better in their own home. Smells, Toys, all their Stuff. I try to stick as close to their normal routine as possible.

About: I've owned my dog, Sparrow, for just over 2 years now. Additionally, I spent most of college watching my friends' pets, taking them out on walks/hikes and providing extended care when they were out of town. I work most days from home allowing me to provide constant care and attention. When your pet is with me they will be constantly cared for and attended to. About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience caring for animals of all kinds and my ability to connect with each pet individually. I grew up on a horse ranch where I trained and showed horses from a very young age. I was responsible for cleaning stalls, feeding animals, grooming, and caring for more than 20 horses daily. That experience taught me responsibility, patience, consistency, and how to read animal behavior and needs closely. I also grew up with dogs and cats and developed a special bond with them early on. Over the decades, I’ve rescued, cared for, and trained many animals, and I truly believe every pet has its own unique personality. I take time to support and nurture each one based on their individual temperament, routines, and comfort level. I’m experienced with everything from grooming, playtime, exercise, and feeding to administering medications and providing senior or high-needs care. This past year, I cared for a cat with extensive medical needs, including a feeding tube, chemotherapy treatments, sulfur baths, and IBS management. The care required a very strict around-the-clock medication and feeding schedule, and I handled it with compassion, attentiveness, and reliability. I also love being active and enjoy taking dogs on hikes and trail walks when appropriate for their energy level and needs. In addition to dogs and cats, I’ve also cared for ferrets and birds. Overall, I genuinely love animals and find a lot of joy in meeting them, building trust with them, and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while in my care. I currently have a hybrid work schedule where I am available Friday - Monday during the days and evenings. Tuesday - Thursday I'm available by 5pm. In a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, familiar, and loving environment so pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I carefully follow feeding schedules, exercise routines, medication instructions, and household expectations, while also giving pets plenty of affection, companionship, playtime, and supervision. I’m experienced caring for pets of all ages and needs, including puppies, senior pets, rescues, and animals requiring medications or more advanced care. I pay close attention to behavior, appetite, energy levels, and emotional well-being so I can quickly notice if something seems off. I also love keeping pets active and engaged through walks, hikes, enrichment, grooming, and one-on-one attention. Every animal is unique, and I adapt my care style to what makes each pet feel most comfortable, secure, and loved. I also love to send photo updates to clients to help them feel reassured and comfortable while they are away from their pet.

Nancy was incredibly attentive to my two kitties' needs. I have one cat who hides around new people and makes it difficult to nurture, hands-on. And one cat that was not feeling well and had a couple of accidents (which is not normal, so we were very worried). She remained in communication during each visit and adjusted needs as we went along to ensure they were eating well and as comfortable as possible while we were away. She is very caring and patient, accommodating, and thorough. She read our care plan instructions and referenced each need each day. I appreciate the time and care she gave to our little ones, and in our home. I would recommend Nancy for anyone who needs a great, caring sitter!
Alexa did a great job with everything I asked and my babies were happy to have her check in daily. My one cat is very friendly and needs attention so for Alexa to come and check on her that means the world to her.
