About: There was always an assortment of pets in the house growing up. We had several pit bulls over the years, an Aussie, and at one point 4 cats alongside him. We’ve even raised a couple of bunnies and pet mice I just couldn’t turn away from! I’ve done lots of basic puppy training and even taught my cat a few tricks. Living in an apartment at one point also entailed LOTS of walks and trips to the dog park. I’m not one to turn away from a lost animal, so I’ve rescued and returned a few pups over the years as well! In addition to my own pets, I’ve house sat and cared for the pets of work clients, helped out with neighbors, and family friends pets too. I have plenty of experience with larger breeds but I love little paws too! I currently work part time while I'm working on my business on the side which is on my own time so I'm very flexible! I love to walk in the mornings and evenings, and my longest shift on Fridays is usually 5 hours. My regular work hours: M: 9:30-1:30 T: none W: 9:30-2 Th: none F: 10-3 S: 8-11 S: none I do not offer boarding at this time, but I will be sure to follow whatever guidelines you may leave according to your pet's personal needs. You know your pet best! :)
“Angel is amazing and so patient with my anxious pups! She keeps me updated throughout the day, including pictures. My puppies warmed up to her so easily and love having her around. Angel truly goes above and beyond to make sure they get the proper care they need! I highly recommend her!”

“Terrific!! So on top of things and our kitties loved her!! She was thorough, prompt, went the extra mile and clearly adores animals. Sooooo lucky to have her as our sitter!!”

“Susan was really friendly to me and checked on my cats every day. She hung out with them for a while each day, and sent me pictures and notes every day about how they were doing. I greatly appreciate her, and I will ask her to drop in on my kitties the next time I travel! I 100% recommend her. :)”

About: Hey! My name is Amber and I work fully remote so I have all of the time to give your fur baby love and attention. I have two Aussiedoodles who love other pups (big or small) and are super friendly. Before them I had a Yorkie for 15 years, so am familiar with senior babies as well who may need some extra TLC. I live in an apartment with a huge community. Lots of grassy areas to walk in and it also has two community dogs parks (I’ll only take them if okay’d by you). I currently work from home full time so your fur baby will be supervised 99% of the time that they are with me. The only time they will be alone is if I go run an errand or two so they do need to be okay with being home alone every once in a while. My dogs are crate trained and will be crated in a separate room if I have to leave. Please bring their crate if they are are comfortable using one. I live in an apartment so daily walks will be provided. Minimum two a day. My pups and I are pretty active so your fur baby will join our adventures. Please let me know if your dog is reactive to people or dogs when walking or if they are strong pullers.
“Kennedy did an amazing job. She did exactlly what I needed and spent the entire 30 minutes with my cat, Koko; brushing him and swiffering all his hair while also cleaning out his litter box and sweeping up any litter that he tracked around the area. She always took pictures for to me to let me know how Koko was doing and that he was cared for. I appreciate Kennedy and would recommend her to any pet owner.”

“They took pictures at every check in with my dog. They also took him on walks and to the dog park. Fabian and his wife were great and I will definitely be using them in the future!”

About: I've grown up with dogs all my life!! Love being with animals and taking care of them! I've taken care of dogs for a family friends many times. “Baylee has been wonderful to work with! Maribel loves her. Baylee communicates, shows up when agreed and takes good care of my pup for however long we agree on. Thank you Baylee!”

“Vanessa was absolutely incredible as a sitter. She was kind and caring with me and my babies. I received many photos while I was away which I love. You can really tell the love Vanessa has for animals with how she communicates. Her notes were thorough and made me feel like I knew everything that happened on her visits”

I absolutely cannot recommend Vanessa enough to be the one to watch over your fur babies. This is our second time having her and I think she loves our crew almost more than we do! The care and attention she gives is outstanding and it’s such a comfort knowing that they’re in wonderful, caring and loving hands. I’m afraid to recommend her more bc I don’t want her to get all booked and unavailable when we’d need her again!!!!! Thank you soooo very much from the bottom of our hearts!!!! Love Max, Mina, April, Daisy and Gilbert Linguine 💜

Couldn't have asked for a better sitter for my cat. Kathryn is great with her communication. Constantly giving updates throughout her visits with photos. Very attentive and loving. My Ziggy warmed up to her quickly! Definitely gave me a peace of mind while I was away

Jordan was great! Callie can be a crybaby (I call her my Screecher Creature). Jordan said Callie whined for awhile and then stopped and lay down next to her. Leia was nervous at first because she didn't know Jordan. Jordan took time to slowly get Leia comfortable with her. She used treats and techniques. All of my pets liked her.

This was our first time leaving our fur babies. We were gone for 3 nights, and were not the least bit worried because Tonya sent us updates after each drop in visit. She even went above and beyond by hauling up our trash bins and bringing our mail into the house. Tonya, you are the best, thank you so much.

Tina was the best! From our cats loving her at the meet and greet to taking such good care of them while we were gone, she went above and beyond. She also had great communications, lots of pictures, and additional play time! Couldn’t be happier with our experience with her! We will definitely use Tina again in the future

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wild Flower. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
