“Kennedy did an amazing job. She did exactlly what I needed and spent the entire 30 minutes with my cat, Koko; brushing him and swiffering all his hair while also cleaning out his litter box and sweeping up any litter that he tracked around the area. She always took pictures for to me to let me know how Koko was doing and that he was cared for. I appreciate Kennedy and would recommend her to any pet owner.”

“Susan was really friendly to me and checked on my cats every day. She hung out with them for a while each day, and sent me pictures and notes every day about how they were doing. I greatly appreciate her, and I will ask her to drop in on my kitties the next time I travel! I 100% recommend her. :)”

“Vanessa you were AWESOME! Thank you so much for taking such great care of our pups and providing us with detailed updates and photos each day. I also couldn’t help but notice that you cleaned the dog bowls and filled our vase with water for the flowers, thank you so much for doing that. The little touches like that are what sets you apart from others! We will definitely be using you again in the future and recommending you to others as well.”

“Carolyn has been wonderful with my dog, Jasper. She has completed two drop-in visits so far, and I was so pleased with the care and attention she provided that I have already rebooked her for weekly visits. Carolyn is dependable, thoughtful, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. She takes the time to make Jasper feel comfortable and cared for, and I feel at ease knowing he is in such capable hands. Her communication is excellent, and she consistently demonstrates kindness, patience, and professionalism. It is clear that Carolyn treats the pets in her care with genuine affection and respect. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter, and I look forward to continuing to work with her.”

“This is the second time Angel has dropped in for my babies and she is nothing but fantastic! She's extremely and consistently communicative and makes me feel confident and comfortable that my animals will be taken care of.”

“They took pictures at every check in with my dog. They also took him on walks and to the dog park. Fabian and his wife were great and I will definitely be using them in the future!”

My schedule allows me to provide reliable care for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight stays, and I’ll always make sure your pet gets the attention, exercise, and love they deserve! Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. I’ll follow your pet’s routine, provide plenty of exercise, playtime, fresh water, and lots of love while keeping you updated with photos and messages.
“Tonya has watched my dogs a few times now. She is flexible with drop in times, my dogs love her and she sends me great updates and pictures of them. She follows instructions and in return they are great dogs when I'm out of town”

“Baylee has been wonderful to work with! Maribel loves her. Baylee communicates, shows up when agreed and takes good care of my pup for however long we agree on. Thank you Baylee!”

“Kathryn went above and beyond our expectations. She was very attention to our two pups, sent multiple photo updates per day and was very friendly/easy going. We already have her booked for our next trip! Thanks so much, Kathryn!”

About: Growing up I had a variety of animals I cared for. Including cats, dogs, chickens and turtles. In my adult life I have had cats and dogs. I feed my animals daily, I play with my dogs, I bathe my dogs and make sure they have water as well. Depending on weather, I will take them outside. I have a fenced in back yard that allows the dogs to run around and play. I feed them twice daily, and insure they are meeting the required food intake.
About: My friends have trusted me to watch their pets while out of town. I am a pet lover and am happy to deliver a break to you and peace of mind, knowing your pet is being well cared for. This summer, I am available anytime. I am keen on setting a future schedule, so we can hopefully work a schedule out. Just reach out! I have a nice backyard with a brick fence so you don’t have to worry about your dog having outside time. If you crate your dog, I have the space to accommodate. For small/medium dogs, I have a large living room to play in the house chase. My backyard is big enough to throw a ball. I enjoy the outdoors and when weather permitting, I can hike and jog with your pet. I can walk frequently if high energy.
About: I have taken care of all kinds of animals my entire life, cats , dogs, birds, and horses! My mother and grandmother are puppy and dog trainers so I've had a lot of hands on training and experience. I am currently a fulltime online college student at ASU as well as an Air Force veteran so my schedule is completely open. All I need is a couple hours a day away to care for my own fur babies! My fur babies get top of the line treatment, with washing and nail care done by me. I work with the animals to build up their comfort and trust level with me. I try not to force them into anything unless its medicine they need and then I just try to make it fast and painless.
About: I've loved dogs and working with them for quite some time, after I retired from the Navy in 2019 I started working on my dog handling skills, then in 2022 I started working at Glendale dogs 24/7, where I held the position of General Supervisor. I then went to D Pet Hotels Scottsdale working as a shift lead/bather until I finally landed a job as a trainer at Petco. I just left Petco after a year to start working for myself. I am retired, working part-time as a dog trainer for a small business. I am usually hanging at home with my four dogs relaxing or having fun! I consider myself to be fairly competent and confident in my ability to handle most dogs. Aggressive and fearful dogs will take more time than most however, I can generally complete most if not all special considerations you may or may not have for your pets
“Courtney is the most reliable and attentive sitter I’ve booked through rover. She is So helpful and even adjusted and was available when my evening help cancelled last minute. My boys love her, and I know they are in good hands if I book her while I’m out of town. She definitely makes for a stress free trip for a very easily-stressed dog mom!! Highly highly highly recommend her to any and every one! 💖”

“KaMari was on point and good at the sitting job I hired her for for my three fur babies. I was very very hesitant leaving them cuz I never have before but all my instructions were followed to the T and my male got his urinary drops detrimental for him to live daily so the money I spent was well spent piece of mind money. She even took my trash out and left one of the lights on so to keep them company. If u need a sitter, even for just a short time, hire this wonderful caring sitter. ???”

About: I have been a part time pet sitting for a variety of different animals for over six years. Not only am I well versed in caring for dogs and cats, but I have worked in the zoological field for five years both volunteering and paid work. Animal care and conservation has not only been an interest of mine but a life-long passion! Please be advised I am comfortable with giving oral medications but I have never preformed vaccines or inhalers on mammals. At this point in time this is my full time job! I am flexible with times! I take breaks midday to care for my own cat and reptiles at home. I am dedicated to the safety and health of every animal in my care. I ensure all locks are checked before leaving and that the pet will always have access to clean water. Pets are not just animals in your home but are very important parts of the family. I am comfortable with meet and greats prior to visitations to build trust with my clients.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember. My mom bred dogs while I was growing up, so I was involved in their daily care from a young age. I helped feed, groom, socialize, exercise, and care for puppies and adult dogs, giving me hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. As an adult, I’ve continued to care for pets for family and friends and understand the importance of providing a safe, loving, and reliable environment. I am a Registered Nurse and currently work only three days per week, which allows me to have a flexible schedule and spend plenty of quality time with the pets in my care. My husband works from home full-time, so there is typically someone available throughout the day to provide supervision, companionship, potty breaks, playtime, and attention. Our home is located in a gated community, providing an added level of safety and security. We have a fenced backyard where dogs can safely go outside for fresh air, potty breaks, and supervised playtime. Pets staying with us will spend most of their time indoors with the family, receiving plenty of attention, companionship, and exercise.

Couldn't have asked for a better sitter for my cat. Kathryn is great with her communication. Constantly giving updates throughout her visits with photos. Very attentive and loving. My Ziggy warmed up to her quickly! Definitely gave me a peace of mind while I was away

Jordan was great! Callie can be a crybaby (I call her my Screecher Creature). Jordan said Callie whined for awhile and then stopped and lay down next to her. Leia was nervous at first because she didn't know Jordan. Jordan took time to slowly get Leia comfortable with her. She used treats and techniques. All of my pets liked her.

This was our first time leaving our fur babies. We were gone for 3 nights, and were not the least bit worried because Tonya sent us updates after each drop in visit. She even went above and beyond by hauling up our trash bins and bringing our mail into the house. Tonya, you are the best, thank you so much.

Tina was the best! From our cats loving her at the meet and greet to taking such good care of them while we were gone, she went above and beyond. She also had great communications, lots of pictures, and additional play time! Couldn’t be happier with our experience with her! We will definitely use Tina again in the future

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
