“Keiten watched our cats for 6 days while my husband and I were away on vacation and she was wonderful. She communicated daily, sent pictures after each visit and took very good care of our kitties. We came home to happy cats, cleaned litter boxes and even cleaned food bowls. We were really able to relax and enjoy our vacation.”

About: I grew up on a farm and I’ve had the opportunity to care for goats and chickens and ducks and rabbits and most favorably dogs and cats! Unfortunately living in an apartment, it’s difficult to have a dog, however because of my physical limitations after breaking my neck, I’m incapable of keeping a traditional job! So, dog sitting and dog walking has become my best friend! On the side, I do full time outreach ministry through the church that I attend! Please reach out because I’d love to care for your pets! Theoretically I am free to dog sit 30 days out of the month because I do not have a traditional job. In other words, my schedule is open and I’m ready for business! I grew up around dogs, one in-fact who was born fully deaf and so I am aware of the general requirements for the care of dogs! If I am dog sitting at somebody’s house, I simply ask for a written “chore list” so I can keep track of everything I need to do!
“Vanessa you were AWESOME! Thank you so much for taking such great care of our pups and providing us with detailed updates and photos each day. I also couldn’t help but notice that you cleaned the dog bowls and filled our vase with water for the flowers, thank you so much for doing that. The little touches like that are what sets you apart from others! We will definitely be using you again in the future and recommending you to others as well.”

“Katie and her husband are amazing. My pup had limited time left and I asked them to spoil her and love on her. They did just that. I loved the photos I got from them. They were even able to get her to eat at lunch when she skipped breakfast with me. I wish I had thought about rover sooner and met Katie and her husband. I have family coming into town this week, once they leave I will be booking again. Thank you for all that you do for our fur babies.”

“Jacqueline has been a wonderful support for my sweet kitty during my long days at work. I have noticed that my cat is happier when I get home after spending time with Jacqueline.”

“Priscilla was very communicative throughout. She sent lots of pictures and updates, and asked thoughtful questions to make sure she understood the instructions, his routine and needs. She made sure Finley was well taken care of, and I felt so relieved knowing he was in good hands. I would definitely recommend her!”

About: Animals have always been an important part of my life, and caring for them brings me genuine joy. In addition to my years of personal pet companionship ive looked after many friends’ and family members’ dogs and cats —of all ages, sizes, and personalities. From bouncy puppies full of energy to calm, senior floof's who just want a gentle walk or a cuddle (sometimes with medications too), I like to match their energy and needs to make them smile and feel comfortable. I understand how stressful it can feel to leave your furry friend behind. That’s why I treat every pet as if they were my own—keeping routines consistent, showering them with attention, and making sure you stay connected with plenty of updates and fun moments along the way. My goal is always to give you peace of mind while giving your pet a stress-free, loving experience while you're apart. I work for myself and set my own schedule, which gives me plenty of time and flexibility to focus on caring for your loved ones. That means your floof won’t be squeezed in between other commitments—I provide a relaxed, playful environment with the attention and consistency they need. Whether it’s long walks, cuddle breaks, or just sticking to their routine, I’ll make sure their days feel happy and stress-free while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow your instructions closely, keep routines consistent, and leave your space exactly as I found it. I pay attention to details like securely locking doors, double-checking food and water, and keeping any hazards out of reach. If I’m welcoming your pet into my home, they’ll be in a calm, pet-friendly environment where they get plenty of love, play, and rest. I make sure walks are safe and enjoyable, staying mindful of Arizona heat and choosing the best times of day for exercise. Most importantly, I treat every pet like my own—whether that means giving rambunctious pups extra playtime, offering patience and gentleness to shy or senior pets, or sending regular photo updates so you know they’re happy and cared for. My goal is to give you peace of mind and your pet a safe, fun, and stress-free experience.
“Olivia is amazing! My cat was so calm and sweet when he met her. She has such a good vibe! She sent lots of pictures, texted updates, and went above and beyond to put birds on the TV for our Charles. Great experience! Highly recommend:)”

About: I've grown up with dogs all my life!! Love being with animals and taking care of them! I've taken care of dogs for a family friends many times. I work Monday through Friday, but I have mornings and evenings available, along with additional availability on weekends. My schedule allows me to provide reliable care for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight stays, and I’ll always make sure your pet gets the attention, exercise, and love they deserve! I have a friendly dog of my own, but if your pet prefers to be the only animal or isn’t comfortable around other dogs, my parents are happy to watch him. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. I’ll follow your pet’s routine, provide plenty of exercise, playtime, fresh water, and lots of love while keeping you updated with photos and messages.
About: I began my journey in the animal care field as a zoo teen at the age of 13, continuing until I graduated high school. During that time, I also had the chance to train service dogs, which was a rewarding experience. Following that, I was fortunate enough to work at an animal shelter, and now I am currently employed at an animal hospital as a Veterinary Technician. Making a difference in the lives of animals is what truly matters to me, even if it's just one pup at a time. I have three wagging tails of my own at home, So I know, first-hand the experience needed to give them the fun and care that's needed. I frequently take my dogs to lakes and parks, enjoying the outdoors with them. I have extensive experience in administering medication and have worked with dogs of various ages and sizes, making me comfortable with all breeds. I also do portrait photos of pets for my personal portfolio and would love to offer some if interested 🐶❤️

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Wild Flower
Couldn't have asked for a better sitter for my cat. Kathryn is great with her communication. Constantly giving updates throughout her visits with photos. Very attentive and loving. My Ziggy warmed up to her quickly! Definitely gave me a peace of mind while I was away

Jordan was great! Callie can be a crybaby (I call her my Screecher Creature). Jordan said Callie whined for awhile and then stopped and lay down next to her. Leia was nervous at first because she didn't know Jordan. Jordan took time to slowly get Leia comfortable with her. She used treats and techniques. All of my pets liked her.

This was our first time leaving our fur babies. We were gone for 3 nights, and were not the least bit worried because Tonya sent us updates after each drop in visit. She even went above and beyond by hauling up our trash bins and bringing our mail into the house. Tonya, you are the best, thank you so much.

Tina was the best! From our cats loving her at the meet and greet to taking such good care of them while we were gone, she went above and beyond. She also had great communications, lots of pictures, and additional play time! Couldn’t be happier with our experience with her! We will definitely use Tina again in the future

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wild Flower. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
