“Mike was fantastic! He took great care of my dog for the day while we were away. He was very attentive and made sure she was happy and well-fed. I highly recommend him and will definitely book again!”

About: I've had pets since I was young. I've taken care of both dogs and cats, from at least 5 months old to 15 years old. I have given senior dogs medications including some IV fluids, but mainly oral medications. Dog walks or visits to the dog park is a part of my daily schedule. I am a part-time student and a part-time caregiver. I have school on Monday-Thursday mornings from 7:30am to 12:30pm. I work as a caregiver on weekends from 1pm to 7pm on Saturday and Sunday. Every night I take care of my own pets and personal resposibilities from 6pm to 8pm. I have plenty of time in the week to do check-ins, potty breaks, and to stay overnight. Staying in my client's home, I follow specific rules and schedules wanted by the client. I I always make sure the pets are safe, doors are locked, and doggy doors are open/closed (up to the client's preferences).
“Angel is amazing and so patient with my anxious pups! She keeps me updated throughout the day, including pictures. My puppies warmed up to her so easily and love having her around. Angel truly goes above and beyond to make sure they get the proper care they need! I highly recommend her!”
“Baylee always takes amazing care of my pets! I feel such ease leaving my pets with her knowing they are going to be in good hands! Baylee even when above and beyond when I unexpectedly got flowers sent to me and she made sure to put them in a vase for me!”

“Lucinda once again did an amazing job! Even when our dog got into a part of the house he wasn't suppose to and made a mess she went above and beyond to clean it up. We ended up having to stay an extra day and Lucinda was gracious enough to be able to drop in 2 more times until we could get home. She's the best”

“Priscilla was very communicative throughout. She sent lots of pictures and updates, and asked thoughtful questions to make sure she understood the instructions, his routine and needs. She made sure Finley was well taken care of, and I felt so relieved knowing he was in good hands. I would definitely recommend her!”

“Sonia does a great job of watching our two cats. She always sends a couple photos and an update with every visit. I appreciate her making sure the cats are well fed and taken care of!”

“Thomas is great with Kaiser! Kaiser is an 11 yr old dog who needs help walking and Thomas is flexible and understanding to help with him. Always feel Kaiser is in good hands with Thomas and never have to worry! Thomas is very detailed and professional and so happy to have found him!”

About: Alongside my mixed husky, I have taken care of my friends’ dogs when they’re away! I dog sat for my friend’s parents, including a 3month old puppy. I’m currently working part-time, which gives me plenty of time to spend with your pets! I enjoy staying active and going on walks, so I’d love to incorporate playtime and outdoor adventures into my routine. I follow all instructions provided by pet owners, including feeding routines, dietary needs, walking schedules, and any specific care preferences. I want to maintain your pets normal routine as much as possible so they feel comfortable, happy, and relaxed while you’re away.

About: We have both had dogs and cats our whole lives and they have always been part of our family. We pet sit for all of family and friends both in our house and many visits to their house. We are always the first call when someone is looking for a pet sitter. We will love and care for your pets as if they were our own. We love cats as well as dogs so if you need cat care too, we are your pet sitters!
About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with a deep, hands-on background in caring for dogs and cats. I currently share my home with three dogs and a cat, so I understand the personalities, needs, and routines of multiple pets living under one roof. I have Extensive hands-on experience with dogs and cats: From puppies to seniors, I’ve cared for a wide range of temperaments and energy levels. Your pets will be treated like family and given the individualized attention they deserve. Expect regular updates, photos, and messages so you can see your pets thriving while you’re away. I’m very responsive. I prioritize your peace of mind, ensuring your home is respected, clean, and secure. I’m currently working part time. so your pet won’t be left alone for long. I offer flexible care options, including drop-in visits, scheduled walks, and at your home stays, seven days a week. Whether your schedule is early or late, I can tailor care to fit your pet’s routine and your travel plans. I have three dogs (two of which are seniors) and a cat. Unfortunately with so many pets at home I won’t be able to offer stays at my home.
“Andrew was on time everyday to check on Ruby, sent tons of pictures and made sure she got all the attention and love she needed! Definitely will be using him in the future as we know she’ll be well cared for!”

“I can't say enough wonderful things about Jacqueline! Knowing my cat was in such caring, loving, and capable hands made being away so much easier. She went above and beyond to make sure he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. The updates were wonderful and gave me such peace of mind. It's hard to find someone you can trust with your fur babies, and I couldn't be more grateful. Highly recommend!”

About: I grew up on a farm and I’ve had the opportunity to care for goats and chickens and ducks and rabbits and most favorably dogs and cats! Unfortunately living in an apartment, it’s difficult to have a dog, however because of my physical limitations after breaking my neck, I’m incapable of keeping a traditional job! So, dog sitting and dog walking has become my best friend! On the side, I do full time outreach ministry through the church that I attend! Please reach out because I’d love to care for your pets! Theoretically I am free to dog sit 30 days out of the month because I do not have a traditional job. In other words, my schedule is open and I’m ready for business! I grew up around dogs, one in-fact who was born fully deaf and so I am aware of the general requirements for the care of dogs! If I am dog sitting at somebody’s house, I simply ask for a written “chore list” so I can keep track of everything I need to do!

About: Whether with Rottweilers, Corgis, Basset Hounds, Labs, and Shih Tzus, I’ve always had a full house! Now I’ve got a full crew of my own: two Cane Corsos (6 & 3) and a 10 year old Boxer. So I’m very used to big dogs, big personalities, and all the energy levels in between. Whether your dog wants to run laps or just supervise from the couch, I’m good with both. I’ve been dog sitting for friends and family for 10+ years, so I’ve seen a little bit of everything when it comes to routines and temperaments. I’m also comfortable giving medication when needed (I’ve done that with my Corso and dogs I’ve cared for before). My goal is pretty simple: keep your dog happy, safe, and ~maybe~ a little spoiled while you’re away. Also… I have five chickens, so chaos doesn’t scare me 😁 I work a ~9–5, but I’m home a lot more during the summer since I work more remotely then. My own dogs basically run the house schedule anyway, so I’m already used to early mornings, breaks for potty time, and fitting everything around them. Pet care fits in really naturally for me. I’m flexible before work, after work, and on my remote days. I stick to routines, pay attention to details, and make sure doors, leashes, and feeding are all handled carefully. There will be no “oops I forgot the gate” moments over here. I also treat every dog like they’re my own while they’re with me.. they’re comfortable, watched, and loved on. Whether they’re playful or more chill, I make sure they have a safe space and feel right at home.
“Tiffany watched our senior dog for four nights and did a great job. She came over twice a day, at our requested times, to feed our dog and give her some love. She was very communicative and sent us photos. We will definitely be booking her again.”

Kylie was an amazing sitter for our cat Rose. She checked in on her and provided consistent updates and details while we were out of the country. She was patient with her each time she checked in which for a more shy older cat is such a great skill to have. Thank you Kylie for the help and taking such great care of Rose!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Jacqueline! Knowing my cat was in such caring, loving, and capable hands made being away so much easier. She went above and beyond to make sure he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. The updates were wonderful and gave me such peace of mind. We have truly loved working with Starlight. We can trust them with specific care and medication instructions. For this trip, we had to add visits last minute. Starlight was so easy to coordinate with and their communication is always quick, thorough, and clear. Starlight always provides photos and written updates that are greatly appreciated by us. We highly recommend Starlight if you are in need of care for your fur babies!

Kathryn did an amazing job cat sitting while I was away on vacation. She sent plenty of updates during her visits along with photos. I can tell my cat really warmed up to her and enjoyed her visits. Kathryn had the best communication and fed my cat on time every day the whole week. I would absolutely book with her again.

Priscilla was very communicative throughout. She sent lots of pictures and updates, and asked thoughtful questions to make sure she understood the instructions, his routine and needs. She made sure Finley was well taken care of, and I felt so relieved knowing he was in good hands. I would definitely recommend her!

Carolyn has been wonderful with my dog, Jasper. She has completed two drop-in visits so far, and I was so pleased with the care and attention she provided that I have already rebooked her for weekly visits. Carolyn is dependable, thoughtful, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. She takes the time to make Jasper feel comfortable and cared for, and I feel at ease knowing he is in such capable hands. Her communication is excellent, and she consistently demonstrates kindness, patience, and professionalism. It is clear that Carolyn treats the pets in her care with genuine affection and respect. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter, and I look forward to continuing to work with her.

Jordan was great! Callie can be a crybaby (I call her my Screecher Creature). Jordan said Callie whined for awhile and then stopped and lay down next to her. Leia was nervous at first because she didn't know Jordan. Jordan took time to slowly get Leia comfortable with her. She used treats and techniques. All of my pets liked her.

Taylor is amazing! During our meet & greet, she was so nice and so attentive. She asked plenty of questions to ensure she could give our dog the best care. My dog loved her & she did everything so well! She made sure our Velcro dog got all the attention she needed! We will for sure be booking her for future sits!

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
