About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 16 years old and have experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities! From small lap dogs to large, energetic dogs, I enjoy getting to know each animal and making sure they feel happy, comfortable, and loved. I love spending time outdoors, going on walks, playing, and giving plenty of attention and affection! I also understand that every animal has their own personality and comfort level. Whether your pet is outgoing and playful or shy and reserved, I’m patient and respectful of their boundaries, allowing them to warm up to me at their own pace. I currently have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time to caring for your furry family members! I’m available throughout the week and on weekends for drop-in visits and overnight stays. I’m more than happy to accommodate your pet’s usual routine to help them feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away! My priority is making sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away! I do my best to maintain their usual routines, including feeding, walks, playtime, and crating if needed. About: I'm was professional pet trainer at a major retail chain. I've lived with a dog, cat, chinchilla, hamster, bird, or fish most of my life. I love fur babies and want help people when they need to be away from their beloved pets. Most recently, I helped sit a household with four elderly dogs with various medical needs. I have experience giving medications to dogs, as well as dogs with disabilities like blindness and deafness. Ideally with pet sitting, my wife and I would meet the dogs and/or cats before we pet sit to learn their specific needs, and learn where the food and treats hide. Depending on the pets and the weather, we like long hikes/walks and short trips around the neighborhood. You actually receive two pet sitters with me. My spouse will be home most of the time while I'm at work. I'm also a certified pet sitter with Pet Sitters International. I'm a Vocational Specialist, and my wife and I work together when petsitting, so she's there when I'm not. We work together and it's a team business. I like to learn the current routine of your beloved pet(s) and try to keep their routine for their comfort. I make sure I learn your house rules and will not let those puppy dog eyes persuade me to let them on the couch unless you say it is ok. I have my Pet First Aid Course and am taking other courses to increase my Pet Safety knowledge.

About: Hey! Mark and Kendall here 🐾 We want to walk your dog!! Especially as the AZ weather cools down for the holidays, we're looking for more ways to get fresh air, as well as the lovely fulfillment that comes from playing with animals, and honestly we could use the exercise! lol. I have a bunch of dog toys too - let me know what game they like to play the most (frisbee, catch, tug-of-war) or if they're just chill and more snuggly- that's no problem either! We live in a residential home that has a large backyard with a pool, and even a doggy door [fits up to large dogs]! We are both animal lovers of all kinds, and are needing some doggo/kitty time. With 2 intentional animal care takers, your pet will surely have all the pets, mental stimulation, emotional connection, and exercise they can get! We are both available full-time for the moment and are eager to fill our time warming our hearts and helping our community <3 {Kendall} Having grown up with dogs my whole life, I've grown such an attachment to having a bundle of joy around. My family recently moved and brought the dogs with them. So living without pets for the past 8 months made me realized how important it is for me to care for loving lil sweethearts. Besides raising multiple dogs growing up, my pet sitting experience is limited to petting sitting my family-friend's dogs on several occasions. I'm able to walk dogs, feed them medicine, I almost always get dogs to warm up to me, especially through playing frisbee, catch, or tug-of-war! I also love a good relax time with the dogs, I can usually match the dogs vibe pretty well. {Mark} Hello all Im Mark, just like Kendall i have also grown up in a house with at least 1 dog present. I naturally get along with animals very well and try to give them a safe and comfortable space to be in. I will often times play the acoustic guitar in the house and al ot of the dogs ive done that around love to just lay near the music and relax, my familys bulldog would be a good example as he loves laying next to me while I play. We're currently living at home full-time - which is a perfect opportunity to pet sit! We do leave the house about once a day (for groceries, events, dates, etc.) though someone may still be home. We also occasionally have people over, though they're almost all pet owners or vet techs. Also, every couple months we travel out of state to visit with family (and get out of the Phoenix heat!) Though since it's cooling down, we want to get outside and enjoy the nice weather, especially with a cutie bean of a pet! {Kendall} I'm an artist and part-time online reseller. My days often look like watering the garden, creating art at my desk or editing videos on my computer, listing items for sale online, as well as cook and clean. I do have friends over occasionally, though no worries- most of my friends are vet-techs believe it or not, or at least multiple-pet owners themselves. {Mark} I'm a musician who's recently produced an improvisational album and am currently working on distributing and releasing it to the public, as well as filming music videos. My days look like playing guitar for hours, working on my computer, watching football, and honestly playing video games. I've had a full-time job most of my life, but very recently switched to owning my own schedule. I'd be truly happy to care for a lil creature in the meantime! We are looking to fill our time directed towards caring for sweet animals, helping our community, and getting fresh air & exercise while doing it! We have a lovely, clean and spacious home with a fenced backyard. We have a doggy door, treats, a bunch of toys, a dog bed, and even a pool! There are no other animals who live here, which may benefit certain animals. We live in a lovely gated neighborhood to walk them in. Better yet (if you're okay with it), there's a glorious concrete and dirt trail along Sonoran Desert Drive that we already love walking on, might as well walk a dog too! We're excited to play with doggos, walk them, even swim with them! We're also excited to relax by the fireplace, listen to acoustic guitar or piano, or even cat nap in the sunlight glow in the courtyard. We're aware of more than just their basic needs, especially with a loving and conscious couple like us caring for your pet, we will ensure routine food, water, and exercise, as much as playtime, mental & emotional engagement, and intuitive attentiveness.

About: I’m a former veterinary technician, have cared for a wide range of animals since I was a kid. I know some first aid and have experience with basic grooming(bathing, brushing, nail trimming). Your furry friend will be well cared for when under my care. Currently a stay at home mom, just taking care of my baby and my own animals so have lots of extra time to help care for your dog! I treat every pet as I would treat my own animals. They are like family and will be loved on and cared for during our time together.

About: Experience caring for anxious and/or special needs animals (diapers, mobility issues, medication, senior dogs, puppies) both professionally and personally. I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been pet sitting on and off for family friends and neighbors since I was a teenager, but started doing so more professionally in the past 5 years. Most of my experience is with overnight care for dogs (ranging from a single night to a full month at a time) but I’m an animal lover with personal experience caring for every kind of pet imaginable (horses, ferrets, fish, cats, bunnies, reptiles/tortoises). I work very flexible hours part-time which mostly consists of work from home, this leaves my schedule wide open for overnight care and long stays. Very good at keeping consistency with feeding and medication schedules, as well as making sure potty breaks taken as frequently as needed (experience with special needs dogs who require being let outside/cleaned up after much more than other dogs).

About: Hey everyone! I’m Maguire or just call me Mag. Fully deaf since birth, and I use American Sign Language & written English to communicate with anyone (no oral). I spent my childhood & early adulthood with 9 cats and a small dog. I once helped rescuing & taking care of 4 stray kittens with my dad & brother. Interestingly, my family and I had used sign language to train & communicate with our pets. Sadly my dog has recently passed away, and all of my cats are currently living with my dad very far away from me. It’s been a while since I don’t have spent time with any pet, and it makes me feeling a little lonely so that’s why I decided to join Rover recently. Getting paid is cool but spending quality time with animals will always be the most rewarding part for me as a commercial pet sitter Unfortunately I didn’t get a lot of experiences as a pet sitter but I did feed & look after my former roommate’s 3 cats for some time. Also I’ve taken care of my dad’s paralyzed kitty for a short time. As now, I may be an inexperienced commercial pet-sitter but I’m always so motivated to learn and grow my pet-sitting skills. About: I recently lost my 16-year-old Shih Tzu, Harper, who was a huge part of my life. Caring for him through every stage of life, especially his senior years, gave me extensive experience with patience, routines, medication support, comfort care, and recognizing dogs’ individual needs. I am comfortable caring for both small and large dogs and provide a calm, clean, smoke-free home environment. Your dog will have access to a spacious, air-conditioned 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time. There are no other animals or children in the home, allowing for a peaceful environment and plenty of individualized attention. As a school principal, responsibility, communication, safety, and trust are part of my everyday life. I understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet with someone dependable, loving, and attentive. During the school year, I have my full-time role as an elementary school principal. I'm typically away from home Monday through Friday from approximately 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. If your dog is comfortable being home during those hours—similar to a typical workday—I would love to care for them! Before and after work, your pet will receive plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, walks (if requested), cuddles, and lots of love. One of the perks of my career is having several school breaks throughout the year. During fall, winter, spring, summer breaks, and long weekends, my schedule is much more flexible, allowing me to spend significantly more time at home with your pet. If you're looking for boarding during one of those breaks, your dog will enjoy even more companionship and attention throughout the day. My home is safe, smoke-free, and has a fully fenced yard. Transparency is important to me, so if your pet requires constant supervision or frequent midday care during the workweek, I may not be the best fit. However, if your dog is comfortable with a typical workday routine, I'd be happy to welcome them into my home. As a school principal, responsibility, communication, and creating a safe, caring environment are at the heart of what I do every day—and I bring those same qualities to caring for your pets. I provide a safe, calm, clean, and loving environment where pets can feel comfortable and cared for while away from their families.
