About: I stared dog sitting my freshman year of highschool for my neighbor, but eventually I enjoyed it so much that my friends would ask me to take care of their pets while they were out of town; from dogs, cats, and even hamsters. I always enjoy being around animals and I always find a way to build a good bond with them. I am a student at U of A, all my classes are usually in the morning so I’m free most afternoons. I am free on the weekends and can do any overnight pet sitting on Fridays and Saturdays. So if you’re going out for the weekend feel free to reach out! If the house has a backyard I will let them out every hour to ensure they are using the bathroom, if the house does not have a backyard I will take the dog out for a short walk every 2-3 hours. Of course i’ll take the dogs for a long walk everyday whether the house has a backyard or not. I will follow any schedules such as feeding schedules that the owners give me.

About: I have been around animals since I was born. Growing up, I had four dogs and eventually would adopt three foster kittens. I have always taken care of my family's pets and would watch my friend's cats and dogs while they were away on vacation. I understand cat and dog feeding, dog walking, and litter box cleaning. The two services I provide at the moment are check-ins and dog walks. Your pet's safety is my number one concern and I promise to be on constant alert while on dog walks and fully understand your pet's proper feeding regime. I want to bring you ease of mind while I do my job and care for your pets. One note is that I will not walk a dog on the pavement past 95 degrees as any hotter and your pet will be at risk of burning their paws. It is best advised to schedule extended walking periods in the summer in the earlier or later parts of the day.

Now I’ve never been able to connect with a dog on that level since her but I still love them. & hope some day I will be able to give my kids that. I am a single mom with 3 kids under the age of 6. Adding a fur baby to the mix just isn’t in the cards for me right now. & after this year I’m looking to get back on my feet. So I thought this could be a good way to make some extra money to help us. We are a very active bunch. Love hiking, walking, and pretty much anything outdoors. Like I said before we are always outside. I like to take walks in the morningsevenings. Love hiking. About: We have taken care of dogs our whole lives, they are family. All my family members have dogs large and small and bring them over all the time. We have 3 dogs, 2 female & 1 male, all neutered, friendly, loving, and love other dogs. 2 small & 1 medium. We have a large fully enclosed block wall back yard and our pups are mostly in the house with us. I work from home so I am with the pups all the time, they mostly stay in the house and hang out with me in my office, but I let them outside many times throughout the day to play and run around. My dogs love to play and sleep and would love to have another play mate. Our yard is very secure, the dogs sleep in our room with us at night. Very safe and happy environment.

“LOU WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! He took care of my baby boy Rudy this Saturday (half day) and Rudy literally had the the best time. By the time we picked up Rudy he’d been on two walks with Lou and he was exhausted; which is great it got all of his energy out! I was terrified to leave Rudy with someone while we did some sight seeing in big bear but Lou was literally the best sitter ever. The dog door goes to a coyote proof dog run/large kennel to protect dogs from wildlife and keep them from pool. I have a large crate if I need to use it. I enjoy taking care of and playing with dogs so it comes naturally for me. I walk my dogs daily to the park near my house and like to play fetch with them in the house when the weather is not great for being outside. I work from home so I am available to play with the dogs, walk them and let them out for potty breaks as well as give them treats throughout the day. I develop trust with your pet by letting him or her get used to me in their own time. I like to give treats when ok with the owner. About: I’ve cared for dogs for over 12 years and love having them in our home and taking them on walks. I’ll keep you updated each day on what and how they’re doing. We’re a retired couple so we’re home most of the time. We’ll enjoy watching your dog any day of the week and we’re happy to meet your dog’s needs. We have a fenced yard and no other pets. We’ll give good attention to your dog and his needs. We’re happy to let him play inside our house or in the backyard while we watch him. We do prefer that your pet is kenneled at night but willing to discuss exceptions.
About: I'm was professional pet trainer at a major retail chain. I've lived with a dog, cat, chinchilla, hamster, bird, or fish most of my life. I love fur babies and want help people when they need to be away from their beloved pets. Most recently, I helped sit a household with four elderly dogs with various medical needs. I have experience giving medications to dogs, as well as dogs with disabilities like blindness and deafness. Ideally with pet sitting, my wife and I would meet the dogs and/or cats before we pet sit to learn their specific needs, and learn where the food and treats hide. Depending on the pets and the weather, we like long hikes/walks and short trips around the neighborhood. You actually receive two pet sitters with me. My spouse will be home most of the time while I'm at work. I'm also a certified pet sitter with Pet Sitters International. I'm a Vocational Specialist, and my wife and I work together when petsitting, so she's there when I'm not. We work together and it's a team business. I like to learn the current routine of your beloved pet(s) and try to keep their routine for their comfort. I make sure I learn your house rules and will not let those puppy dog eyes persuade me to let them on the couch unless you say it is ok. I have my Pet First Aid Course and am taking other courses to increase my Pet Safety knowledge.
About: My first dog I got when I was in the 4th grade. She changed my life. Now I’ve never been able to connect with a dog on that level since her but I still love them. & hope some day I will be able to give my kids that. I am a single mom with 3 kids under the age of 6. Adding a fur baby to the mix just isn’t in the cards for me right now. & after this year I’m looking to get back on my feet. So I thought this could be a good way to make some extra money to help us. We are a very active bunch. Love hiking, walking, and pretty much anything outdoors. Like I said before we are always outside. I like to take walks in the morningsevenings. Love hiking. I work from home so I can make my own schedule. Depends on the dog. Just like my kids each one is different. What works for one might not work for the other. About: Since I was young, my household has always had pets. I’ve owned dogs, cats, birds, hamster, fish & even iguanas! Never a dull moment! If I’m needed to stay in your home, I would just work my day there in your place and be with your furbaby all day. (I would need your wifi login) If I’m needed for drop in visits or dog walks, I’d be available after 3PM. Weekends are open as long as I don’t have the date you need blocked off for personal reasons. I’m not able to take dogs into my home because I have a rescue dog named Rango that is a little unpredictable with other dogs. I’d be happy to stay with your pup in your home and keep them comfortable. I would just need to know your furbaby’s routine and feeding schedule. I can also do drop in visits and dog walks M-F after 3:30pm and on the weekends anytime as long as I’m available.

At home I have a 19 year old cat named Peppermint, an 11 year old Doberman mix named Katie and a 12 year old Russian tortoise, Opal. I have the most experience taking care of medium to large size dogs and pets who need medications, specific diets, and schedules.
