About: There was always an assortment of pets in the house growing up. We had several pit bulls over the years, an Aussie, and at one point 4 cats alongside him. We’ve even raised a couple of bunnies and pet mice I just couldn’t turn away from! I’ve done lots of basic puppy training and even taught my cat a few tricks. Living in an apartment at one point also entailed LOTS of walks and trips to the dog park. I’m not one to turn away from a lost animal, so I’ve rescued and returned a few pups over the years as well! In addition to my own pets, I’ve house sat and cared for the pets of work clients, helped out with neighbors, and family friends pets too. I have plenty of experience with larger breeds but I love little paws too! I currently work part time while I'm working on my business on the side which is on my own time so I'm very flexible! I love to walk in the mornings and evenings, and my longest shift on Fridays is usually 5 hours. My regular work hours: M: 9:30-1:30 T: none W: 9:30-2 Th: none F: 10-3 S: 8-11 S: none I do not offer boarding at this time, but I will be sure to follow whatever guidelines you may leave according to your pet's personal needs. You know your pet best! :)

About: I had a dog as a kid from the ages 6-18. I was a canine coach at a doggy daycare and worked with dogs of all breeds and sizes. I also maintained a group of 30 dogs at a time. I have no problem cleaning poop or puke or anything like that. I also volunteered at a zoo and worked with the primates. I love every animal I see and I especially love dogs. I will love your baby as much as you do Over the summer starting May 11th 2026 I can do any time any day. I do have a trip planned in July. Once the semester starts I can do check-ins and walks in the early afternoons, and evenings on weekdays and anytime on weekends. I can all house sit on any day of you give me a week notice I care for all animals by reading their body language and respecting it. If a dog or cat does not want to be pet, I’m not going to. If they are playful, I’ll be playful. I will also lay down and cuddle your baby. I always put the dogs safety and anxiety first.

We are new to the area and after meeting Rachel we felt immediately at ease with her and so did Charlie. We went out of state for 6 days and She was so good to send pictures every day. I Couldn't have found anyone better to watch my German Shepard for 4 days and stay in my home! Matthew loved on my dog like his own from the start. Took him on hikes, walks all the things my German shepherd needed and sent me pictures/updates the whole time I was gone. My dog is really high energy and requires a lot of attention and detail. This was also my first time leaving my pup alone for this long, so I was kinda nervous. I knew when I met Matthew he was a perfect fit. He was extremely responsive every time I texted him and I was completely at ease the whole time I was gone. His pup, koda, also stayed over so my pup got to have a friend all weekend long!! It was a win win! They were having a blast together, i loved every single video and picture I got. Matthew also left our house completely spotless!. Highly recommend Matthew to anyone looking for a responsible dog sitter that knows what they are doing with all dogs.
