“LaAsia was amazing with Maya! She took her out and walked her three times whilst looking after her. She kept me in the loop with photos on how she was doing which made me feel comfortable leaving Maya. I can tell Maya was a happy girl whilst we were away. I’d definitely recommend LaAsia to anyone needing a dog sitter!”

“Always come how to happy, healthy dogs that have had the love and attention they need. Sonia is a perfect house guest and absolutely wonderful bff to these crazy dogs:”

“This is the second time Baylee has watched our pup, Zeus, and we couldn't be happier! She sent daily photos and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind while my husband and I were away for a week. Baylee took great care of Zeus and also looked after our home. We came back to a clean house and a happy, well cared for dog. We highly recommend Baylee and will definitely book with her again!”

“Fabian Was great with our dog and cat while my wife and I were away for 10 days. Fabian was very communicative even utilizing WhatsApp since my wife and I were in Europe without true texting. He sent pics and videos and cared for our babies at our home. We came home and could not be happier with how our babies and house are. We would definitely book Fabian again.”

“Annabelle was great with my fur babies! She took such good care of them and communicates exceptionally well, provides updates, etc. which gave me peace of mind while I was away. 🩷”

“My husband and I have always been hesitant to leave our pup behind, so finding someone we truly trust meant everything. Katie completely restored our faith in being able to enjoy a worry-free getaway. She was attentive, understanding, and highly communicative, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Our dog can be reactive and a bit challenging, but Katie approached him with such patience and care that he quickly became comfortable with her. We’re incredibly grateful for the experience and will absolutely be booking with her again.”

About: There was always an assortment of pets in the house growing up. We had several pit bulls over the years, an Aussie, and at one point 4 cats alongside him. We’ve even raised a couple of bunnies and pet mice I just couldn’t turn away from! I’ve done lots of basic puppy training and even taught my cat a few tricks. Living in an apartment at one point also entailed LOTS of walks and trips to the dog park. I’m not one to turn away from a lost animal, so I’ve rescued and returned a few pups over the years as well! In addition to my own pets, I’ve house sat and cared for the pets of work clients, helped out with neighbors, and family friends pets too. I have plenty of experience with larger breeds but I love little paws too! I currently work part time while I'm working on my business on the side which is on my own time so I'm very flexible! I love to walk in the mornings and evenings, and my longest shift on Fridays is usually 5 hours. My regular work hours: M: 9:30-1:30 T: none W: 9:30-2 Th: none F: 10-3 S: 8-11 S: none I do not offer boarding at this time, but I will be sure to follow whatever guidelines you may leave according to your pet's personal needs. You know your pet best! :)
“Mary is wonderful! She took the best care of our two fur babies. She sent us updates throughout the stay, allowing us to relax and enjoy our vacation. We appreciate her so much and we will be booking with her again and again! Highly recommend!!”

“There aren't enough posititve words to describe Shelley. She is amazing. Benson loved every minute with her. She was very communicative and sent lots of pics and movies. She willingly got up at 4:30am for his morning walks before the heat set in. She went above and beyond with the way she left the house so clean. I was really able to enjoy my vacation because I didn't have to worry about Benson. She will be our sitter from now on!”

“He does a great job. Always sends me pics twice a day, always plays with my pups and they always seem happy when I get home. Would definitely recommend him.”

“Toby took great care of our babies while we were away for an extended period. He reached out for confirmation of questions rather than making assumptions, which is the best one could expect! All our pups seemed happy and well taken care of. We will definitely be using him again.”

“Angela was a fantastic dogsitter for us! Melo was well cared for. He seemed to be relaxed with Angela. It's always great getting photos of Melo, & we got a lot of them! We appreciated Angela taking care of the house while we were gone.”
“Chris was so great! She house sat for our pup Nalu and he was well taken care of. He likes to take lots of walks and go on adventures and Chris accommodated all of that. We were updated regularly with pictures and videos. She is great, I’d highly recommend her. Professional and communicated well.”

“Makena was great with our dogs! She was very communicative and easy to coordinate with. We really appreciated her taking such good care of our home and our dogs while we were away.”

“Ash was amazing with our two boys! We have a cane corso and a frenchie and we were super nervous to have someone new watch our pups and they loved her! She even left little treats, a handwritten note, and two beautiful handmade pictures of our pups! So thoughtful and she’s so professional and kind. Highly recommend!”

“Susan was a fantastic sitter for my dog. She was so kind and patient with her, always making sure she was okay while keeping me up to date on how she was doing with lots of lovely photos. Could not recommend her enough, a very kind lady who is definitely an animal person 🥰”

About: I had a dog as a kid from the ages 6-18. I was a canine coach at a doggy daycare and worked with dogs of all breeds and sizes. I also maintained a group of 30 dogs at a time. I have no problem cleaning poop or puke or anything like that. I also volunteered at a zoo and worked with the primates. I love every animal I see and I especially love dogs. I will love your baby as much as you do Over the summer starting May 11th 2026 I can do any time any day. I do have a trip planned in July. Once the semester starts I can do check-ins and walks in the early afternoons, and evenings on weekdays and anytime on weekends. I can all house sit on any day of you give me a week notice I care for all animals by reading their body language and respecting it. If a dog or cat does not want to be pet, I’m not going to. If they are playful, I’ll be playful. I will also lay down and cuddle your baby. I always put the dogs safety and anxiety first.

“Anastasiia was absolutely fantastic! So communicative and helpful, she even tended to a couple things around the house that didn’t relate to the dogs, and we couldn’t be happier with her service. One of our dogs is EXTREMELY timid - Anastasiia was so patient with her, we felt total and complete comfort leaving our fur babies for an entire week. We will definitely rebook with Anastasiia and will highly recommend her to anyone that asks. THANK YOU!!!!”

“Thomas is literally amazing! He is probably the best Rover I've ever had. He is super attentive to the animals and sends daily check-ins with photos and info about the day. My husband and I were scared to leave our furbabied after we haven't left for a year and my husband has been working from home the whole time so they got very spoiled. The animals took to Thomas so quickly and we came back to our house looking immaculate. Book him and you will not regret it!”

Chris took great care of our pups. She made sure their routine was not interrupted. Our pups were very happy and well taken care of. Chris made sure they were good thru fireworks and paid extra attention to our oldest dogs needs. Will definitely book in the future.

We are new to the area and after meeting Rachel we felt immediately at ease with her and so did Charlie. We went out of state for 6 days and She was so good to send pictures every day. On the last day after Rachel had gone home, our flight got cancelled and she came back to be with Charlie till the next day. I don’t know what we would have done without her. Thank you Rachel. Highly recommend her

Haley took amazing care of our dogs and our home while we were away. She was incredibly attentive, kept the house clean and tidy, and was exceptionally communicative throughout our trip, giving us peace of mind knowing they were in such great hands. It was obvious she genuinely cared for them, and we came home to two happy pups and a clean home. We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter and would highly recommend Haley to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, and caring!

Tabitha is great! We found her a couple of weeks before we were going on a cruise. She was not only super friendly and trustworthy, but our 2 dogs absolutely loved her. It was very reassuring to know that our fur babies were safe and well loved while we were gone. We will definitely use her again and we recommend her to anyone!

I Couldn't have found anyone better to watch my German Shepard for 4 days and stay in my home! Matthew loved on my dog like his own from the start. Took him on hikes, walks all the things my German shepherd needed and sent me pictures/updates the whole time I was gone. My dog is really high energy and requires a lot of attention and detail. This was also my first time leaving my pup alone for this long, so I was kinda nervous. I knew when I met Matthew he was a perfect fit. He was extremely responsive every time I texted him and I was completely at ease the whole time I was gone. His pup, koda, also stayed over so my pup got to have a friend all weekend long!! It was a win win! They were having a blast together, i loved every single video and picture I got. Matthew also left our house completely spotless!. Highly recommend Matthew to anyone looking for a responsible dog sitter that knows what they are doing with all dogs.

The average cost for House Sitting in Wild Flower on Rover is $44.4 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Wild Flower walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Wild Flower maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Wild Flower choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
