“Wonderful man! He was very curious of our house and our 3 dogs loved him. He is a real pleasure to work with and we intend to work with him again! Thank you so much!”

“Katie, I took care of my pups with lots of love and worked with my unpredictable schedule due to moving. I made a mistake and she made accommodations. I loved that I had her and my pups were very happy. I highly recommend her. You cannot go wrong hire her with peace in mind💕💖💞”

“Toby took great care of our babies while we were away for an extended period. He reached out for confirmation of questions rather than making assumptions, which is the best one could expect! All our pups seemed happy and well taken care of. We will definitely be using him again.”

“I can’t say enough wonderful things about LaAsia! She did overnights with my fur babies—Monet (senior cat), Annabella (playful kitten), and Asha (sweet pup)—for two nights, and she was absolutely amazing. From the moment she arrived, I knew they were in the best hands. She played with Asha, let her sleep with her (which I know Asha loved), and made sure Monet got her medications and her Theragun massages (she's an odd kitty). But what truly set LaAsia apart was the constant communication. I received tons of photos and videos throughout her stay, and they weren’t just quick snapshots—these were meaningful little glimpses into their day that made me feel like I was right there with them. I could see they were calm, happy, and completely at ease. I felt completely at ease leaving my pets. LaAsia is reliable, compassionate, detail-oriented, and truly loves animals. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pets like family, I highly recommend her. She’s a gem!”

“Adrian did a wonderful job house sitting for our two pups. It was our first time ever using a service like Rover, and he was a great representative! Communication was timely and caring. He is very personable and also jumped in immediately to help us when our first sitter had to cancel with a medical emergency even before we had our meet and greet with her. We highly recommend him and plan to use him for future needs.”

“Chris was so great! She house sat for our pup Nalu and he was well taken care of. He likes to take lots of walks and go on adventures and Chris accommodated all of that. We were updated regularly with pictures and videos. She is great, I’d highly recommend her. Professional and communicated well.”
About: Hi, I'm Rae! Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I've owned and cared for dogs my entire life and have over 10 years of experience caring for cats. My experience also extends to small furry pets and reptiles, so I'm comfortable caring for a variety of companions and their unique needs. I'm experienced in administering both oral and topical medications and understand the importance of following care instructions carefully. Whether your pet needs medication, a leisurely walk, playtime, feeding, or simply a caring companion while you're away, I'm committed to providing attentive, compassionate care tailored to your pet's routine. In addition to caring for animals, I'm an avid plant lover with a growing collection of houseplants of my own. I'm happy to care for your indoor and outdoor plants by watering, monitoring their health, and following any specific care instructions, so you can return home to happy pets and thriving plants. As the owner of my own massage therapy practice, professionalism, reliability, and respect for my clients' homes are a part of my everyday work. I understand the trust that comes with being welcomed into someone's home, and I take that responsibility seriously. You can count on me to be dependable, communicate regularly, and treat your home, pets, and belongings with the same care and respect I give my own. I know your pets are family, and my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you're away. I'll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing they're in caring, capable hands. I look forward to meeting you and your beloved companions! Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my daily life. As a small business owner and licensed massage therapist, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to plan my day around the pets in my care. When house sitting, I prioritize maintaining your pet's normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, and plenty of companionship. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my own pets and caring for my houseplants, so tending to a home while you're away feels like a natural extension of my everyday routine. My goal is to provide a calm, consistent presence so your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved until you return home. When caring for pets in a client's home, my priority is to keep their routine as consistent as possible. I'll follow your feeding schedule, provide fresh water, administer oral or topical medications if needed, clean litter boxes or pick up waste, take dogs on walks, and make sure every pet gets the level of attention, play, and affection they're comfortable with. Whether your pet loves to cuddle, play fetch, chase a wand toy, or simply nap nearby, I'll tailor my care to their personality and needs. I also understand that I'm caring for both your pets and your home. I'll treat your home with the utmost respect, keep it clean and secure, bring in mail or packages if requested, water plants, and provide regular photo and text updates so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind. My goal is for you to return home to happy pets, healthy plants, and a home that's just as you left it.

“There aren't enough posititve words to describe Shelley. She is amazing. Benson loved every minute with her. She was very communicative and sent lots of pics and movies. She willingly got up at 4:30am for his morning walks before the heat set in. She went above and beyond with the way she left the house so clean. I was really able to enjoy my vacation because I didn't have to worry about Benson. She will be our sitter from now on!”

“We were very pleased with the service we received from lee. The dogs truly loved him. He went the extra mile to see that the dogs were cared for and that we were comfortable with him being here with the dogs. Also, he took care of the house while we were away. We look forward to having him sit with the dogs again. Lee you are a superstar. Thanks Kem and Richard”

“Alexandra was a great sitter for our dogs. From the meet and greet where she asks a lot of good questions, to the pictures and updates she sent, I felt comfortable having her stay at our house. The dogs were happy and the house was like no one had been there when we got home.”

“Maghi is awesome! She took such good care of my girls, was very communicative and left my place exactly as I left it. Would absolutely recommend and look forward to next time she watches my girls!”

“Mackenzie is kind, thoughtful and gentle. She has loads of experience with dogs and cats and my very sensitive kitty loved her. So did my rambunctious, enthusiastic dogs. She took care of my pets like her own and my home was in super condition once she left. I am so thankful for her care and attention during our 9 day trip.”

“Kaitlin was awesome. My dogs are happy and rested and it's apparent through pictures and communication that they were well cared for in my absence. Would recommend and use again.”

About: I grew up on a farm and I’ve had the opportunity to care for goats and chickens and ducks and rabbits and most favorably dogs and cats! Unfortunately living in an apartment, it’s difficult to have a dog, however because of my physical limitations after breaking my neck, I’m incapable of keeping a traditional job! So, dog sitting and dog walking has become my best friend! On the side, I do full time outreach ministry through the church that I attend! Please reach out because I’d love to care for your pets! Theoretically I am free to dog sit 30 days out of the month because I do not have a traditional job. In other words, my schedule is open and I’m ready for business! I grew up around dogs, one in-fact who was born fully deaf and so I am aware of the general requirements for the care of dogs! If I am dog sitting at somebody’s house, I simply ask for a written “chore list” so I can keep track of everything I need to do!
“Ashlyn was a great sitter for our two Goldendoodles. She truly showed them the love and attention that we show them and treated them like her own pets. She was communicative, punctual and incredibly helpful in every aspect. She even went the extra mile to pickup some necessities for my girls that they ended up needing. We would definitely recommend her and will be using her again.”

Chris was amazing!!! She took care of my two Goldens with lots of love and care. Chris followed the instructions I had reviewed with her and she went the proverbial extra mile with playing with them, monitoring their pool playtime and especially their daily routine of feeding, snacks and bathroom breaks. In addition, she took such great care of my home and accepted deliveries I had received. I highly recommend Chris for anyone and everyone who is looking for an amazing in-home pet sitter. Thank you Chris ❤️🐶🐶

Mackenzie is one of the best that I have had. She and my crazy, yappy schnauzer got along so well. She stayed at my house while I was out of town and my house looked as if I had never left. I will most definitely have Mackenzie back and wholeheartedly recommend her service.

Anastasiia was absolutely wonderful with our pups! She was incredibly communicative, thoughtful, and extremely tidy, and she sent us tons of photos while we were away, which gave us so much peace of mind. Extremely detail oriented is a huge bonus. She mentally walked thru the steps to ask things I missed in my pet sitting cheat sheet. We even had an unexpected plumbing issue at the house during our trip, and she handled it beautifully—letting us know right away, sending detailed photos, and keeping us informed without making an already stressful situation feel overwhelming. Most importantly, our dogs clearly adored her. Lola in particular was so fond of Anastasiia that it honestly felt like the pups already knew her. ❤️ She was kind, polite, attentive, and took such great care of both our fenchie babies and our home. We came home to happy pups and an immaculate house. We would absolutely trust Anastasiia with them again and highly recommend her!

A big thank you to Thomas for staying with Hershey on a very short request. He came early to a meet and greet, and he and Hershey made friends right away. While we were out for a birthday celebration he played, fed and took several pictures of her. I would definitely would recommend Thomas to care for your fur baby.

We had Andrea house/pet sit for us while we were gone for 2 weeks. She stayed overnight and cared for our one dog and my many outdoor plants. She faithfully did what we asked and beyond. The house was left in great shape for our return. I would definitely hire her again and recommend her to others.

Erica came to our Home and watched our two Frenchies and pit mix for a week. Erica has a great personality and a very calm demeanor. She was awesome with the dogs taking special care meeting each of their individual needs (Eye drops, allergy sprays, allergy pills etc) which can be a lot! We were very comfortable leaving our babies in her care. She texted us daily with cute photos and comments, keeping us updated on the dogs activities. We will definitely use Erica again and would not hesitate to recommend her to our friends. We came home to three very happy pups🐶

We are new to the area and after meeting Rachel we felt immediately at ease with her and so did Charlie. We went out of state for 6 days and She was so good to send pictures every day. On the last day after Rachel had gone home, our flight got cancelled and she came back to be with Charlie till the next day. I don’t know what we would have done without her. Thank you Rachel. Highly recommend her

Haley took amazing care of our dogs and our home while we were away. She was incredibly attentive, kept the house clean and tidy, and was exceptionally communicative throughout our trip, giving us peace of mind knowing they were in such great hands. It was obvious she genuinely cared for them, and we came home to two happy pups and a clean home. We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter and would highly recommend Haley to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, and caring!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Wild Flower walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Wild Flower maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Wild Flower choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
