I do consulting and work from home, so pet care fits really easily into my day. I have a flexible schedule and can give dogs plenty of attention, walks, and check-ins throughout the day. I can usually adjust to whatever routine your dog is used to, and I’m around enough to make sure they always feel cared for.

When I’m caring for pets, their safety and comfort come first. I take time to learn each dog’s routine, personality, and any specific needs so I can make sure they feel secure and relaxed. I pay close attention to things like gates, doors, leashes, and anything in the home that could pose a risk. For walks and drop-in visits, I keep your dog on a secure leash, watch for heat and pavement temperature, and make sure they always have water. I never combine dogs from different households, and I stay focused on your pet at all times. If I am caring for your dog in your home, I treat your space with respect and keep everything as close to your normal routine as possible. I send regular updates so you know your dog is safe, comfortable, and having a good time. My goal is to make sure both you and your dog feel totally confident and at ease while they are in my care.

Before I care for your pup, I like to know the basics: the commands they already respond to, any routines they follow, and their typical behaviors. For example, do they pull on the leash, get excited around other dogs, prefer quiet time, or love to talk? The more I know ahead of time, the better I can tailor the experience and make sure your dog feels comfortable, safe, and understood.

A typical day with me is all about keeping your dog happy, active, and relaxed. We will explore the nearby neighborhoods, visit local parks, and enjoy safe, supervised playtime. I adjust our activities based on your dog’s energy level, whether that means long walks, fetch, training games, or just some calm hangout time. My goal is to make sure your pup has fun, stays stimulated, and feels loved throughout the day.

As a former firefighter and paramedic and a long-time dog owner, I bring a calm, reliable, safety-first approach to every visit. You can trust that your dog will be in capable and caring hands.
