“Bonita was such a treasure of a find. I was so anxious about leaving our little Bodi at a boarding facility. No matter how hard I looked, I could not find one that met all my desires for our dog. I wanted, so badly, for him to feel safe and comfortable, attended to and at home. I finally came across Rover online. This was our first time using Rover and Bonita was absolutely amazing. Her home is such a warm and inviting place and so safe for dogs to stay. Bonita does some volunteer work but is retired and spends much of her time at home. So she is able to be very attentive to the dogs throughout the day. She was intentional about being at her home the day when we dropped Bodi off just so that she could help him feel acclimated to his new vacation home. Bonita sent pictures and updates while we were away (for a week), which gave us such a peace and joy to know he was happy and cared for so exceptionally. I would absolutely recommend Bonita to anyone looking for an amazing care lodging for your pet while you’re out of town for either a short or long-term stay. About: Hey! My name is Amber and I work fully remote so I have all of the time to give your fur baby love and attention. I have two Aussiedoodles who love other pups (big or small) and are super friendly. Before them I had a Yorkie for 15 years, so am familiar with senior babies as well who may need some extra TLC. I live in an apartment with a huge community. Lots of grassy areas to walk in and it also has two community dogs parks (I’ll only take them if okay’d by you). I currently work from home full time so your fur baby will be supervised 99% of the time that they are with me. The only time they will be alone is if I go run an errand or two so they do need to be okay with being home alone every once in a while. My dogs are crate trained and will be crated in a separate room if I have to leave. Please bring their crate if they are are comfortable using one. I live in an apartment so daily walks will be provided. Minimum two a day. My pups and I are pretty active so your fur baby will join our adventures. Please let me know if your dog is reactive to people or dogs when walking or if they are strong pullers.

About: There was always an assortment of pets in the house growing up. We had several pit bulls over the years, an Aussie, and at one point 4 cats alongside him. We’ve even raised a couple of bunnies and pet mice I just couldn’t turn away from! I’ve done lots of basic puppy training and even taught my cat a few tricks. Living in an apartment at one point also entailed LOTS of walks and trips to the dog park. I’m not one to turn away from a lost animal, so I’ve rescued and returned a few pups over the years as well! In addition to my own pets, I’ve house sat and cared for the pets of work clients, helped out with neighbors, and family friends pets too. I have plenty of experience with larger breeds but I love little paws too! I currently work part time while I'm working on my business on the side which is on my own time so I'm very flexible! I love to walk in the mornings and evenings, and my longest shift on Fridays is usually 5 hours. My regular work hours: M: 9:30-1:30 T: none W: 9:30-2 Th: none F: 10-3 S: 8-11 S: none I do not offer boarding at this time, but I will be sure to follow whatever guidelines you may leave according to your pet's personal needs. About: Dogs have been an important part of our family over the last 40 years. Our current duo of dogs consists of our matron Elise age 9 and Bella who is 2 and in her pup teens. almost 2 years ago we lost our elder Sammy who had been ill for several years so I am accustomed to caring for senior dogs with ailments. Since entering the business I have provided 24 hour care in our dog centric pup room but am now transitioning what I do mainly to home visits as well as providing walks. I am experienced in working with dogs to learning new commands from multiple training courses I have participated in along with our two dogs, I will happily welcome gentle and friendly dogs up to 60 pounds. My services are reserved for breeds traditionally known for calm and sociable behavior. I am retired and dogs are my avocation. While others golf or travel, I am home the majority of time hanging out with my family which includes our two pups. Our mostly grass backyard is surrounded by a block wall as well as a pool fence surrounding our pool. Our pup den is dog-centric including the furniture and is dog proof which is uniquely different from in-residence boarding. The only external exit from this space leads into the backyard enclosure. My primary focus is to ensure the pup's routine is unchanged from when they are with their pup parents. Schedules and routines are strictly adhered to from feeding to walks and sleep time. Mental as well as physical exercise is stressed. Treat loaded puzzles to solve and hoop jumping are just a few examples. Finally special dietary needs are strictly observed including types of treats.

About: I had greyhounds growing up and even had a chocolate lab for a couple years. Back home in Minnesota, our family dog is a 16 year old greyhound named Rainy! I currently have 2 kitties here in AZ, named Loofah and Krobus. I would love to meet your fur babies too! I make sure I know what things your pet might get into easily and adjust the environment appropriately. Their safety is as important as mine. I try to promote as normal of a routine for them as possible - I need to adjust to their routine, not the other way around.
About: I work a full time job from Sunday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, but I can still do house visits and house sitting around my work schedule. I have had pets for 40 years. I have had birds, cats, and dogs. I currently have three dogs I take to the park almost every day before I go to work. I have sat pets for friends and family at their homes while they were away from a day to a few weeks. My full time work hours are Sunday through Thursday from noon to midnight, but I still have time to house sit or do drop in visits when I can. I promise to take as good a care of your babies as I do my own. I would prefer to take care of your fur baby at your home where he/she is more comfortable. I can also house sit if needed.
