About: I've owned my dog, Sparrow, for just over 3 years now. I have experience with pets of all sizes and kinds and I love the unique personalities of every one I care for. My favorite part of being a sitter is keeping your pet happy and comfortable however I can while you’re away, so I’m more than happy to accommodate the special night time routines or whatever will keep your pet most happy. I work from home every day except Wednesdays when I’m in office. I am more than happy to keep your pet company while I work and keep their routine as stable as possible. About: I have taken care of mine and my friends’ pets majority of my life. Those pets range from guinea-piggies, kitties, and puppies. I currently care for my disabled cat. I have dealt with animal medical emergencies and assisted when one of our dogs was having puppies. I enjoy going on runs and I have taken our family dog on plenty of runs! I’m very passionate about all animals and love spending time with them! I am currently a barista, so I am accustomed to waking up early. If your pet baby is in need of care early in the day or should be taken on a walk to avoid the heat I can do it! Also, with my schedule I have evenings typically off as well. I ensure all doors are closed for the safety and security of the pets. All objects that can be wrongfully consumed are out of reach. Having open communication with the owners is important and reaching out with updates is a priority!

If I could give Melissa 10 stars, I would! Leaving my babies for a week is never easy, but Melissa made me feel completely at ease. She took such amazing care of Izzy and Raider and truly treated them like they were her own! She kept me updated every day with pictures. Really well thought out, cute pictures! She was always reliable and responsible, and went above and beyond in ways I never expected or imagined! Knowing my babies were so loved and well cared for let me actually relax and enjoy my trip. Honestly! When I got home, my dogs were happy and healthy! Although I think they may have been a little disappointed that Melissa didn’t walk through that door instead of me! 😂 If you’re looking for someone who genuinely loves animals and will care for your pets as if they were her own, I can’t recommend Melissa enough! She’s simply the best, and I’ll be using her again without hesitation!
Alex was absolutely incredible! He watched our two small dogs and they loved him. He was so attentive, responsive, trustworthy, and caring. He sent us multiple photos and updates to keep our mind at ease. The dogs were taken on multiple walks and played endless games of fetch. He even brought our packages in while we were away. We couldn’t recommend Alex enough and we will definitely be using him for future dog sitting!

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
