I have hands-on experience pet sitting and caring for dogs—including looking after a sweet Chihuahua for a full week while his owner was away. I have experience and am comfortable hosting larger, well-behaved dogs with the help of my partner, Andrew. Why Choose Me? Your dog will get 100% focused, 1-on-1 love and attention! We have a peaceful, smoke-free home with no children and no other pets, making it the perfect stress-free environment for anxious, timid, or high-attention pups. -Clean & Safe Environment: I live in a spacious, very clean, and quiet home where your pet can relax comfortably. -Constant Updates: I love taking pictures! You will receive regular daily photo updates so you have total peace of mind. -Flexible Schedule: My daily schedule is very flexible, meaning your pet will get plenty of individual attention. My partner Andrew and I are huge pet lovers living in a clean, quiet, smoke-free, and party-free townhouse with a cozy patio and access to a community dog park right in our neighborhood. About: I'm 57 years old and have loved and cared for animals since I was a kid. Dogs and cats have always been a big part of my life. Over the decades, I've raised and trained my own dogs, completed extensive dog training classes and gained hands-on experience understanding behavior, consistency and positive reinforcement. Friends have trusted me with their pets while they travel and I've welcomed them into my home where they quickly become family. As a former AZ Humane Society volunteer, I had the privilege of working closely with dogs, cats, rabbits and even fancy rats (ask me about them when we meet!). At the time, I was one of only a few volunteers permitted to work in more than one area of expertise. That experience deepened my appreciation for each animal's unique personality and needs. I'm grateful for that experience and for the wonderful people I was fortunate to meet. I've had a blessed career but made the decision to fully "retire" in January of 2026 giving me the flexibility and availability to provide focused, attentive care. Whether it's a fun neighborhood walk, playtime, feeding routines, or simply offering companionship while you're away, I treat every pet as if they were my own. Currently, my husband, Frank, and I don't have pets of our own as we plan to travel when he retires, sometime between Dec. of 2026 and June of 2027. We miss having pets around! So, we decided we'd become Rover pet sitters to get the opportunity to love on your pets and provide them comfort and companionship while you're away. I have an enormous heart for animals. Your pet's comfort, safety, and happiness will always come first with me. It would be my honor and privilege to serve you and care for your pet(s). I'm currently retired and my only obligation is a volunteer shift that I pull off every Tuesday for just a few hours - normally from about 10:00 am until Noon or 1:00. I occasionally have appointments outside of the home or I may embark on a motorcycle ride a time or 2 a month or have lunch with friends but I'm often at home. I'm physically active - I walk, hike and do weight training so any size animal, big or small is of no concern. Your pet and I will be great pals! My home is ideal for overnight stays because I don't have pets of my own right now. When pets are inside our home, they are part of the family. They're inside when we're inside - watching TV, sleeping, eating dinner, or throwing the ball across the living room, and they have plenty of room to roam outside in the back yard when they want to stretch their legs. We have a large, fully fenced in yard (block wall) with a grassy area on which they can stretch out and sun bathe. We also have a doggie door they can use if they're trained to do so!
“Bar none this was my best Rover experience. Jennifer kept us well informed sending many pictures of my boy throughout his stay(holiday) Her other special doggies welcomed Benny with open paws and Benny was even a guest at a birthday party at Jennifer’s home. The house is a perfect space giving him tons of open yet secure space to roam and play. From the pics, Benny had a great time and felt very much at home. I wholeheartedly recommend Jennifer.as a premier option should you have a need.”

“Kaitlin was absolutely awesome as was her dog Koko. They both took KC into their home for 3 1/2 days of loving care, playfulness and retrieving balls. I will definitely ask Kaitlin to watch KC when I have the need. Oh, BTW, Kaitlin did a splendid job of keeping me updated with texts and photos!!! Who could ask for more?”

“Matia was so accommodating with my boys - she was incredibly flexible around times and our fluctuating schedule. She sent to many video and picture updates for our ease of mind and had so many activities for the boys. 10/10 would recommend you leave your dog with Matia.”

“Our senior mutt, Roxie (11.5yrs) went to Will’s for the first time for daycare while we were moving. Walked right in when Michelle greeted her. The place is so well kept. When we picked her up, she was happy & content. We will definitely be taking her back here again. Thank you for the photos, also!”

“Zach and family always take the best care of Barley when he’s there. I know he’ll get fresh air, walks and lots of snuggles! Appreciate knowing he’s in good hands.”

“Liz was so sweet and accommodating to my last minute request. Holmes had so much fun and got some much needed attention during my work day. I got the cutest pics of him exploring and he got some canine buddy time in with Liz’s senior girl. I knew he was in good hands from the minute we got there and I will definitely be booking again. Thank you so much!”

“Wonderful!! Honey so enjoyed her time. She was excited to spend time with Amanda. We are in from out of state and they treated Honey like their own. Thank you! Highly recommend.”

“Woohoo! Roxy's first day at Evan's awesome dog daycare and what a scortcher (114). But she had fun with new friends (love the videos) and kept cool inbetween outside play times. She's all tuckered out now, but she'll be back tomorrow for more of Evan's TLC. Many thanks!”

“Truly, the best sitter ever and this is coming from a first time Rover user was very nervous, but felt that this was the right place for dolce tons of updates and they have beautiful dogs truly thankful”

“Su sent lots of pictures of our pup settling in! They had so much fun and our pup was well taken care of, I don’t think he was eager to leave during pickup. He felt so welcomed, calm when we picked him up, and made a friend.”

About: Hi! I’m Jenna, and I’d love to care for your little pup while you’re away. I have over 30 years of experience with small dogs. As the proud dog mom of a sweet Havanese named Bailey, I know our dogs aren’t “just pets”, they’re family. 🩵 I also know how much trust it takes to leave them in someone else’s care, which is why I treat every dog who stays with me with the same kindness, patience, and attention I’d want for my own. I intentionally care for small dogs because I believe they thrive in a calm, home environment. Rather than a busy, high-volume setting, my goal is to provide personalized attention so each pup feels safe, comfortable, and truly at home. I’ll follow your routine as closely as possible: from feeding schedules and walks to favorite toys and bedtime habits. My goal is to make their stay feel familiar and stress-free. You’ll receive regular photo and message updates because I know how comforting it is to see your best friend happy and well cared for. I can’t wait to meet you and your little one and provide a safe, loving home away from home. I currently host only one pet family at a time, so your pup gets personalized attention and a calm, home-like stay. I specialize exclusively in small dogs (under 25 lbs) because I believe they thrive in a calm, safe environment where they can feel comfortable and relaxed. I keep my bookings limited so every dog receives the time, attention, and care they deserve. Every dog is unique, so I’ll follow your routine as closely as possible; from feeding schedules and walks to favorite toys, medications (if needed), and bedtime habits. My goal is to make your dog’s stay feel as familiar and stress-free as possible. Because I’m home full-time, your dog will rarely be left alone and will have plenty of companionship, supervision, and care throughout the day. I’ll also send regular photo and message updates so you can relax knowing your furry family member is happy, safe, and well cared for. 🩵 I have a fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor time and share my home with Bailey, my sweet 10-year-old Havanese. Bailey has a gentle personality and enjoys the company of other small dogs. My home is quiet with no children, which helps create a calm environment for dogs who prefer a more peaceful setting.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Windsong
Millie had such a fun time with Lauren and her new friend Mako today! She loved all of the walks, playtime, and naptime she got to experience with both of them. Her dog Mako is the sweetest when welcoming unfamiliar pets into his home. Lauren goes above and beyond when caring for not only her pets but others as well! She does an excellent job making sure other dogs feel as comfortable as possible in here home (which is very clean and dog friendly)!! Will definitely be booking future visits!!

Alondra is such a great caretaker for my dog! I know he was so well taken care of and loved in my absence. She supplied me with plenty of photos and voice memos to keep me updated as they spent time together. I know that if I ever need anyone to watch my dog again, I can count on Alondra! I will definitely be booking her again.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
