About: I had a joyful childhood growing up with dogs since I was little. Our family has had many dogs, including German Shepherds, Maltese, Chihuahuas, Akitas, and mixed breeds. I also have experience rescuing stray dogs. When I was 13, our dog had a litter of 5 puppies, and they all grew up healthy. I used to be the first choice as a dog sitter among my friends, caring for and spending time with many dogs, including a Border Collie puppy less than a year old. I love dogs! They bring me so much happiness, and I hope all dogs around the world receive excellent care! I am currently a freelance worker based at home, so I have plenty of time to spend with your dogs! I'm mostly at home during weekdays and often outdoors on weekends. However, if needed to care for your dog, I prefer staying at home or, with your permission, taking them out for relaxation. In my home, I provide a safe and caring environment for dogs. They have designated areas with all their essentials and plenty of supervised playtime and walks. I prioritize their comfort and well-being while following any specific instructions provided by their owners.

About: As a dedicated dog sitter, I will provide attentive care, love, and exercise, ensuring your furry friend feels safe, happy, and cherished while you’re away. I currently work from home and I am available most weekend to care for your furry pet. I can house sit your pup as well. I have a fenced yard, cozy yard and friend pup to play with your furry pet. I can easily crate or adapt to any of your pets needs.
“Upon meeting Pam it is apparent that she has a love for dogs. Her home is perfectly appointed to make your pet feel welcome. Our puppy had an enjoyable stay and was happy to see Pam on her next visit!”
“Kaitlin was absolutely awesome as was her dog Koko. They both took KC into their home for 3 1/2 days of loving care, playfulness and retrieving balls. I will definitely ask Kaitlin to watch KC when I have the need. Oh, BTW, Kaitlin did a splendid job of keeping me updated with texts and photos!!! Who could ask for more?”

“My pup has never been with a sitter before . I was very happy to have found Tina . After meeting her ,I felt very comfortable. She was very detail and took notes and listened patiently to all the needs to my dog I was expressing . We picked a day and my pup stayed with her for few hours. I walked out of Tina’s house feeling very confident that Tina would do whatever it takes to keep my pup happy and loved . Being the first time I can understand my pup was a bit stressed but I already saw my Paupi warming up to Tina . I am looking forward for Paupi to get more time with Tina . I feel open to talk to Tina about my Paupi and I feel assured that Paupi will be safe and be well taken care as I start doing longer stays.”

About: I'm in my 30s and have always had at least one (or more) family dog to care for. I am happy to give your pup as much love as I do for my own two, a friendly Cavapoo and Cockapoo. Will stick to your routine and any needs you or your pup express. I'm a flexible and easy-going guy who would love to help you and give your dog some company in a happy home with two more cute and friendly dogs of my own. I currently work from home and am with my two friendly doggies (a Cavapoo and Cockapoo) all day. I only step out briefly to run an errand here and there. When the weather permits and it is not too hot, I take my dogs for walks in the neighborhood and the dog park. When the weather is extreme, I let my pups out into the backyard and then back at home. Dog care is my passion as I find it to be mutually beneficial for the pet and myself. I follow your schedule and routine as closely as possible and will give your sweet pet as much love as I do to my own two. I have a fully fenced in yard, which allows for free roaming and potty time as needed. I also take pups for walks, weather permitting. I have many toys and will also send photo and text updates to let you know that your little guy or gal are doing well. Lastly, I'm happy to provide a free meet and greet so that you're able to meet me and our pups can interact.

“Marisa was a pleasure to work with. Very responsive, sent pictures thru the day and my pup had a great time playing. Will definitely use her services again!”

“Chelsea and Dean did such a great job with our 1.5 year old bernedoodle. They have great space in their backyard to let our guy run around with their two dogs and he had so much fun. Very communicative and will look forward to having them watch our dog in the future!”

“Shahla is awesome. She looked after our 8-month French bulldog puppy for the very first time, and everything went very well. She shared photos with us and clearly knows how to treat dogs. She has the knowkedge and experience, and our dog had a great time at her house with her dogs. We are very much looking forward using her service again.”

About: Hi! I’m Lauren, a Scottsdale-based pet sitter who believes dogs deserve a loving home environment while you’re away and not a stressful kennel. I grew up on a farm with many house pets. I have 35 years of animal care experience and a special place in my heart for dogs! Your pup will get personalized care, lots of attention, playtime in a fenced yard, swimming in a pool, daily walks to my neighborhood walking trails, cuddles, and a cozy place to relax. I treat every pet like family and love sending photo updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. Whether your dog loves adventure or just wants a comfy couch and belly rubs, I’m here to make them feel safe, happy, and loved. I am currently a stay at home mom with kids in school. Our biggest strength is round the clock animal care. We treat animals as if they’re our own and with all the attention and care they deserve. I live in a gated community, with a fenced in yard. We begin our days with food and then a walk on our walking trail in my community. Afterwards, we like to swim in my fenced in pool in my backyard. The entire day consists of belly rubs, pets, snuggles, and as much playtime as your pup needs! I also help with crate training, and making sure we instill your house rules for animals here as well! As an animal parent myself, I understand that all animals require different things!
About: My husband and I are dog lovers! Our kids have grown to be the same. We are experienced in boarding, walking, day care, drop ins, etc. We are comfortable with medically compromised dogs, as one of our previous fur babies suffered from an autoimmune disease. We both work from home, so we have the availability to provide frequent potty breaks, play time outside, walks, and overall love while we have your pet in our home. Our current dog, Zeke, loves to play and will gladly welcome furry friends into his home :) Your dog must be okay with kids and other dogs and CANNOT be an excessive barker. They MUST be house trained, and obedient. We do not have the capacity to care for dogs who are not trained. We have full availability, unless a previous commitment is scheduled. We work from home and never leave the house for more than two hours at a time. We have a large fenced yard and a child proofed home. Your pet will enjoy lots of time outdoors in our yard, playing with our dog and kids. We take nightly walks around the neighborhood and several potty breaks throughout the day. We keep several bowls of water around for frequent hydration breaks!
“I couldn’t have been happier!!! I’m so excited I found Michele. She knew I was nervous leaving my dog because of his separation anxiety, but she texted me not long after I left and let me know he was already settled down! That was not necessary but TOTALLY appreciated. Now I feel confident leaving him there again in the future.”

About: I'm an editor who works from home in the North Scottsdale area! I worked Rover for about 10 years and I aim to go above and beyond to provide good care for all the dogs and love on them just like their owners do. I’m reliable and flexible, so I sometimes take visits/walks booked the day of, and I always make sure to walk dogs even if just around the block when booked for a drop-in visit. I’m good with big and small dogs and have experience with Pitbulls and other bigger/more energetic breeds. Sidenote: I don’t discriminate with kitties! Love them as well and will feed and pet for free on a household with a dog, or for same fee if alone or needs medication. I work from home, so I'm flexible to take a couple of dogs on walks per day or do a drop-in visit. If I'm boarding a dog, I walk them at least 3 times a day. I'll always make sure the dog(s) are leashed and do not dominate me on a walk. I'm watchful of what their sniffing and always make sure to pick up after them wherever they go!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Windsong
Millie had such a fun time with Lauren and her new friend Mako today! She loved all of the walks, playtime, and naptime she got to experience with both of them. Her dog Mako is the sweetest when welcoming unfamiliar pets into his home. Lauren goes above and beyond when caring for not only her pets but others as well! She does an excellent job making sure other dogs feel as comfortable as possible in here home (which is very clean and dog friendly)!! Will definitely be booking future visits!!

Alondra is such a great caretaker for my dog! I know he was so well taken care of and loved in my absence. She supplied me with plenty of photos and voice memos to keep me updated as they spent time together. I know that if I ever need anyone to watch my dog again, I can count on Alondra! I will definitely be booking her again.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Windsong commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
