About: If you’re the type of pet parent who wants their pet cuddled, loved on, groomed, and genuinely doted on, I’m your person. Animals have always been a part of my life, and I’ve never known a time without them. I’m naturally very loving and protective, and I take pet care personally. I treat pets like family, not like a job, and I genuinely enjoy making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. As a pet owner myself, I know how stressful it can be to trust someone else with your animal. I keep that in mind whenever I’m caring for someone else’s pet — I’m the type who will happily flood your phone with pictures and keep communication open so you always know what’s going on. Honestly, it’s a win-win: I get to enjoy spending time with your pet, and you get peace of mind while you’re away. Im currently a stay at home mom with a flexible schedule, Im home throughout the day and able to accommodate drop-ins and last minute request when needed/ Your fur baby will be cared for with genuine care and close attention in a setting where their comfort and routines are respected. . My home is equipped with multiple indoor cameras to provide an added layer of supervision and I also have a quiet, low-stimulus den when needed to help visiting pets acclimate comfortably and reduce stress.
“My 1st time EVER taking a dog to doggy day care . What a great experience!Greg was the BEST! He kept me i formed all day & sent me pictures. I would recommend him to anyone!”

“Pam and Richard were amazing! They were commutative and punctual, and I loved how they sent me pictures of Gelato playing with them in the beautiful yard. He came home a very happy boy, I’ll definitely book with them again!”

“Lauren was amazing! My puppy had a blast and she sent me the cutest updates on his day and his many naps. Her space is set up for puppies and she was so calm about his natural puppy energy. She helped me super last minute and overall was just so sweet and great to work with, I’d recommend her for any pet sitting but she’s especially great with these crazy energetic, puppies.”

About: My husband and I are dog lovers! Our kids have grown to be the same. We are experienced in boarding, walking, day care, drop ins, etc. We are comfortable with medically compromised dogs, as one of our previous fur babies suffered from an autoimmune disease. We both work from home, so we have the availability to provide frequent potty breaks, play time outside, walks, and overall love while we have your pet in our home. Our current dog, Zeke, loves to play and will gladly welcome furry friends into his home :) Your dog must be okay with kids and other dogs and CANNOT be an excessive barker. They MUST be house trained, and obedient. We do not have the capacity to care for dogs who are not trained. We have full availability, unless a previous commitment is scheduled. We work from home and never leave the house for more than two hours at a time. We have a large fenced yard and a child proofed home. Your pet will enjoy lots of time outdoors in our yard, playing with our dog and kids. We take nightly walks around the neighborhood and several potty breaks throughout the day. We keep several bowls of water around for frequent hydration breaks!

About: Dogs have been my life for as long as I can remember. Most recently I cared for my 14-year-old Pittbull Alladin through a serious illness, managing daily medications, special diets, and round-the-clock care with patience and love. I understand that your pet is family, not just an animal, and I treat every dog in my care with that same devotion. I’m attentive, reliable, and experienced with senior dogs, special needs, and high-maintenance care. But I am willing to and would love to take care of dogs that are any age! Your dog will be loved, monitored, and treated like my own while you’re away. Because I work from home, your pet will have my full attention throughout the day — no long hours alone, no wondering if someone checked in. I recently cared for my beloved dog through a three-month hospice journey, which deepened my understanding of attentive, compassionate pet care. I know what it means to truly show up for an animal who needs you. I live a quiet, homebased lifestyle, so your dog will always have company, comfort, and someone who genuinely cares right by their side. My home is set up with your pet’s comfort and safety in mind. I have a fully fenced yard, security cameras both inside and outside, and an extra-large doggy door that accommodates dogs of any size. I always accompany pets outside to monitor them — especially important during Arizona’s hot summers. Inside, you’ll find plenty of toys, cozy dog beds, leashes, and harnesses. Your pet will never be left bored or unattended. I treat every dog in my care as my own, with love, attention, and a watchful eye every step of the way.
About: I had a joyful childhood growing up with dogs since I was little. Our family has had many dogs, including German Shepherds, Maltese, Chihuahuas, Akitas, and mixed breeds. I also have experience rescuing stray dogs. When I was 13, our dog had a litter of 5 puppies, and they all grew up healthy. I used to be the first choice as a dog sitter among my friends, caring for and spending time with many dogs, including a Border Collie puppy less than a year old. I love dogs! They bring me so much happiness, and I hope all dogs around the world receive excellent care! I am currently a freelance worker based at home, so I have plenty of time to spend with your dogs! I'm mostly at home during weekdays and often outdoors on weekends. However, if needed to care for your dog, I prefer staying at home or, with your permission, taking them out for relaxation. In my home, I provide a safe and caring environment for dogs. They have designated areas with all their essentials and plenty of supervised playtime and walks. I prioritize their comfort and well-being while following any specific instructions provided by their owners.

About: I'm in my 30s and have always had at least one (or more) family dog to care for. I am happy to give your pup as much love as I do for my own two, a friendly Cavapoo and Cockapoo. Will stick to your routine and any needs you or your pup express. I'm a flexible and easy-going guy who would love to help you and give your dog some company in a happy home with two more cute and friendly dogs of my own. I currently work from home and am with my two friendly doggies (a Cavapoo and Cockapoo) all day. I only step out briefly to run an errand here and there. When the weather permits and it is not too hot, I take my dogs for walks in the neighborhood and the dog park. When the weather is extreme, I let my pups out into the backyard and then back at home. Dog care is my passion as I find it to be mutually beneficial for the pet and myself. I follow your schedule and routine as closely as possible and will give your sweet pet as much love as I do to my own two. I have a fully fenced in yard, which allows for free roaming and potty time as needed. I also take pups for walks, weather permitting. I have many toys and will also send photo and text updates to let you know that your little guy or gal are doing well. Lastly, I'm happy to provide a free meet and greet so that you're able to meet me and our pups can interact.
“Kaitlin was absolutely awesome as was her dog Koko. They both took KC into their home for 3 1/2 days of loving care, playfulness and retrieving balls. I will definitely ask Kaitlin to watch KC when I have the need. Oh, BTW, Kaitlin did a splendid job of keeping me updated with texts and photos!!! Who could ask for more?”

“Mellanie provided daycare for Dakota at the agreed time. Mellanie was easy to work with and kept us informed. Dakota was happy when we picked her up. Mellanie has a fenced backyard. I would definitely recommend Mellanie and I will use her services again in the future.”

About: I have taken care of dogs since grade school, I love dogs and I currently have a horgi named Cosmo. I have watched and walked dogs for friends and family when they are out of town. I have also taken care of my 15 year old lab when she was in her senior years. I am currently going back to school for my Bachelors degree, so I have a fairly open schedule! I can work around any schedule just let me know. I have a fenced yard and my pup loves other dogs and he loves to play. We have plenty of dog toys as well. We also have a variety of dog leashes.
About: I’ve have always had pets since I was a kid. I know they become our family members and need to be treated as such. I will love and take care of your family just like I would with mine. I have over 20 years of family and friends relying on me to pet sit. I do have training with senior dogs! I have references if needed. I work from home so I can come to your house to let them out for walk and give them love. They are also welcomed to come stay for the day with me at my house. I can do overnights if needed. I can come to you or your fur babies can come stay at my house. I will walk your dog on a leash and let them out when needed. If they come to my house they will not be crated, they can enjoy inside relaxing with having someone present at all times.
“Communication was great, and we really appreciated the photos and updates while we were away. Rocky seemed happy and content when we picked him up, which gave us so much peace of mind. Will book again!”

“Tina is great and took very good care of Kevin. The second day he walked in to her house without even checking to see if I followed him, which I just love! She sent pictures and kept me updated so I knew how he was doing. She is very caring and Kevin took to her immediately. I will definitely reserve time with her again.”

Millie had such a fun time with Lauren and her new friend Mako today! She loved all of the walks, playtime, and naptime she got to experience with both of them. Her dog Mako is the sweetest when welcoming unfamiliar pets into his home. Lauren goes above and beyond when caring for not only her pets but others as well! She does an excellent job making sure other dogs feel as comfortable as possible in here home (which is very clean and dog friendly)!! Will definitely be booking future visits!!

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
