“This was my first time using Rover. The process was very easy. It was also the first time leaving my anxious dog with strangers. Rossana was wonderful - she was confident, calm and reassuring.. She and Kurt are obviously dog lovers and experienced pet sitters. They kept me informed during the day and sent two photos which put me at ease. Great.experience!”

“We were staying in the area for a few weeks. Kelly and Bob watched our pup a few times. They were so great with her. We would definitely have them watch her again if we are back in the area.”
“Mindy took such good care of our boys while we played golf. It was so nice not to have to worry about them. They adapted well to her calm environment even though there were other dogs there. I would not hesitate to leave them in her care again. They must of had a good time. They came home exhausted!”

“Nancy is very professional and knowledgeable about dogs. She was able to watch our little guy at the last minute when he was recovering from surgery. Her two dogs are super sweet and welcoming. She gave him the TLC he needed and allowed us to enjoy some time away without worrying about him. We’re very grateful.”

About: Hi! I’m Lauren, a Scottsdale-based pet sitter who believes dogs deserve a loving home environment while you’re away and not a stressful kennel. I grew up on a farm with many house pets. I have 35 years of animal care experience and a special place in my heart for dogs! Your pup will get personalized care, lots of attention, playtime in a fenced yard, swimming in a pool, daily walks to my neighborhood walking trails, cuddles, and a cozy place to relax. I treat every pet like family and love sending photo updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. Whether your dog loves adventure or just wants a comfy couch and belly rubs, I’m here to make them feel safe, happy, and loved. I am currently a stay at home mom with kids in school. Our biggest strength is round the clock animal care. We treat animals as if they’re our own and with all the attention and care they deserve. I live in a gated community, with a fenced in yard. We begin our days with food and then a walk on our walking trail in my community. Afterwards, we like to swim in my fenced in pool in my backyard. The entire day consists of belly rubs, pets, snuggles, and as much playtime as your pup needs! I also help with crate training, and making sure we instill your house rules for animals here as well! As an animal parent myself, I understand that all animals require different things!
“Hunter was amazing! She knew how to handle a big German Shepherd like Bear and made the afternoon super fun for him. Hunter has a nice grassy yard in a safe neighborhood and her home is very dog friendly. She communicated well with me & sent pics of Bear having fun. An all-around great experience for Bear. Highly Recommend!”

“Piper had a great day with Camille. She sent me many pictures and was flexible on her pick up time... she will be going back for overnight stay at the end of the month. Great back yard for playing too!”

About: I recently lost both of my fur babies of 13 years. The house feels empty and would love to share it with some pups that need love and care. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule for regular potty breaks, walks and snuggles. My yard is large and fully fenced in. I have a large yard and live in a great neighborhood for walks. The house is also pretty big for roaming. My children are here half time and love animals.

“Kelly and her family are absolutely amazing!! Our dog Scout had so much fun with them and was comfortable with them immediately. Kelly was very organized and detail oriented which we appreciate very much as Scout requires some special attention due to allergies. Kelly kept us informed every step of the way when he was in her care, she sent many updates and photos throughout the day. Scout was very excited to be dropped off with her every morning and sad to leave in the evening. We can't thank Kelly and her family enough for taking such good care of our sweet boy!!”

About: I’ve had animals my entire life and I have a lot of love to give! I believe I’m very intuitive when it comes to animals needs, even if they have certain sensitivities or issues. We work from home so we're always here for your pets needs. If your dog needs walks or even runs I'm open to whatever their needs are. If they are less social I’m comfortable keeping them away from other dogs or people or vice versa. I will treat your dog like my own. My neighborhood is quiet and a great place to walk dogs. And on lazy days we are great at snuggling. Whatever their needs! My boyfriend and I both work from home. We are always here. So what ever your schedule is, we can recreate for your pet for an easy transition. I have a fully fenced yard. I like to take a walk an least once a day depending on the weather/heat. If your dog is crated I can accommodate as well.
“Kim did a fantastic job of taking care of my dog! I was a bit nervous as this was our first time using Rover, but Kim put all my fears at ease and did a wonderful job of looking after Mellie. Thank you, Kim!”

About: Hi there! I'm Maria. I’ve loved and taken care of animals of all shapes and sizes my whole life. I take care of cats, dogs, horses, chickens, and everything in between. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I live with my boyfriend Steven off a quiet dirt road in the Rio Verde foothills, with a fenced-in yard. Steven is an animal lover as well and enjoys taking care of our furry guests as much as I do We're active people and love going on long walks and exploring. If your dog is active and loves to run, explore the trails, or play an endless game of fetch, then we'll be sure to have lots of fun! Or, if you've got a senior or couch potato who wants only to venture outdoors for the necessities, you can still entrust us to brighten their day with plenty of cuddles and love as if they were our own dog. A trusted pet-sitter since the age of 10, I have experience with animals of all kinds. In addition to suburban pet-sitting, I have also farm-sat and cared for horses, chickens, barn cats and farm dogs. I have volunteered at several vet clinics, and I have also worked with goats, sheep, guinea pigs, bunnies, etc. I’m a life long equestrian with extensive horse experience, so if you need a horse sitter I am qualified for that job as well. We have 2 cats - Glitch and Desmond, who are comfortable around dogs. We also have a dog of our own - an Australian Cattle Dog named Lana who is used to being around other dogs. Animals are my life, and I cannot wait to meet your best friend! I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. My boyfriend Steven, who also works from home, is an animal lover as well and enjoys taking care of our furry guests as much as I do. For drop-ins: Along with providing walks, food, fresh water, and anything else you may need for me to do, I also include plenty of love and cuddles if that’s what your pet enjoys! When your pet stays with us, it will be a home away from home. We have a fenced in yard where they will be supervised at all times. Our cattle dog Lana is used to sharing her home with other dogs.
About: Hi dog people!! I’m from Illinois originally, moved to the Rio Verde Foothills in 2020. All settled in and want to start taking care of dogs again. I’m very passionate about all animals but my heart belongs to the puppers! I care for each dog I watch like they are my own. I have owned dogs my entire life, have cared for my own for 35 years, big and small, pure bred and mixed breed, they all have something to teach us. Your dog will have a safe and happy home while they stay with me. If you don’t meet the requirements on my profile, for example, your dog is not crate trained, reach out anyway and let’s talk about options! I currently work full time from home and have a flexible schedule so your puppers will have time outside for exercise and potty breaks whenever necessary! I have a large fenced yard and one dog at home. My fence has snake fencing for added protection. During the hot summer months your dog will be able to cool off and get daily exercise in the pool!!
