“Zack & Mariah were great to connect with and were very flexible to our needs. We are so appreciative that they were able to get Opie outside because he's still learning to walk well, and take the time to play with him in the house just to burn off some of his puppy energy. We loved getting all of the crazy Opie pictures!”

“Savannah did a great job walking my 45lb dog. She showed up every day we had scheduled and early enough to avoid the heat. I highly recommend Savannah as a dog walker!”

“Emily is the best! My boys love her and she has helped us out many times. My one dog sits and listens for her then starts singing when he knows she is here. It’s the sweetest.”

“Christopher has been walking my dog Ernest multiple times a week for the past couple of months. I can tell he takes great care of him by the detailed notes he gives from their time together, but moreso by how utterly excited Ernest gets when he sees Christopher around the neighborhood. Highly recommend!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my hands-on experience caring for animals in a variety of settings. In addition to pet sitting for neighbors, friends, and family members, I have volunteered over 50 hours at the Arizona Humane Society, where I gained experience working with dogs of different ages, sizes, and temperaments. Through these experiences, I’ve learned the importance of patience, reliability, and individualized care. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the day, evenings, and overnight. Whether your pet needs a midday walk, early morning care, evening check-ins, or overnight companionship, I can accommodate a variety of schedules. I understand that every pet and owner has different needs, and I am committed to providing reliable care whenever it is needed. When staying in a client’s home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable by following their usual routine as closely as possible. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, exercise, and any special needs. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship so they feel safe and cared for while their owners are away. I also respect and care for the client’s home, keeping it clean and secure, and provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are happy and in good hands.

After relocating to Scottsdale 20 years ago my passion for animals only grew! I currently pups who rule the household. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Windsong
Melissa was absolutely wonderful with our dogs! She walked my Siberian Husky and our Border Collie puppy for four days, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provided. Both of our pups absolutely adore her, which says a lot—especially with a high-energy puppy in the mix. Melissa was reliable, attentive, and clearly has a natural connection with animals. It gave me real peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. I came home to two happy, well-cared-for dogs every day. We will definitely be using Melissa for all of our fur babies’ needs going forward. Highly recommend!

It has been so lovely working with Rachel over the last several months. She consistently has been walking my browser daily when I’m at work. I can always depend on her to be timely, flexible, go above and beyond, send the best pictures, and being a caring and loving companion to my sweet doggy! Also, she sends great updates and is very concerned with my dogs well-being. Thank you, Rachel!!! she’s truly a dog expert and gets bonus points for being a Chihuahua mommy herself! I couldn’t recommend her more.

My pups absolutely love Shani and I do too! Shani is not only kind and caring in the way she interacts with my fur babies but she is very responsible, showing up on time every time. Shani does those little things like extra time walking them, holding and petting them and making sure they have such a positive experience. Shani loves what she does! Shani is, by far, the best person I have ever found to care for my pups!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
