“Kim was great! She communicated very well and was always on time. Our dog loved her and was so excited to see her. We would rebook with her again!”

“Brandon is THE BEST! He is truly amazing! He walked my new rescue dog who is very timid. Brandon went above and beyond to work with him and make him feel comfortable! He even brought him a toy! I HIGHLY recommend Brandon!! He’s a fantastic communicator. He truly cares about your dog and is a WONDERFUL person!”

“Koda loved her walks with Tom. We are so thankful for the photos and excellent care he gave Koda. We really enjoyed the communication regarding the walks too. We will definitely be rebooking. Thank you!”

“London is so great with Ruby. She constantly goes above and beyond! I knew she would be fine when she told me she helped train her Cane Corsos. Ruby is always so excited to see her too. I would highly recommend London, thank you!”
About: Hi! I’m Whitney! have had pets of a variety of species all my life. I have, literally, a lifetime of experience owning and caring for birds, dogs, cats, turtles, chipmunks, fish, gerbils, rats, horses. In my teenage years, I gained much experience and became a reliable pet sitter and dog walker. I will take immaculate care of your pets and shower them with much love and attention. They will receive the care that I give to my own pets and that I would want someone to give to my pets (dog, tortoise, 2 birds, and a horse). I have an open and flexible schedule, so I can customize my service to your needs! I’m available 7 days a week and morning, afternoons, and evenings. I will play with, walk, let out for potty breaks, pick up after them, feed and water, and anything else they may need like medication administration.
“Inbal was absolutely wonderful, and I highly recommend her! She arrived on time every single day and spent a full hour with my dogs, exactly as we had discussed. From the moment she met them, my dogs took to her immediately. They were comfortable with her, excited to see her, and never barked when she arrived (ring doorbell footage), which told me a lot about how caring and trustworthy she is. While I was out of town, I felt completely at ease knowing my pets were in such responsible hands. Inbal went above and beyond by not only caring for my dogs but also picking up the yard since they use a doggy door. She paid attention to every detail and followed all instructions perfectly. It’s not easy to find someone who is dependable, compassionate, and genuinely cares about your pets, but Inbal is all of those things. I will definitely be using her again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter or walker. Thank you, Inbal for taking such great care of my babies!”

About: Hi, I'm Stacey, a professional, caring pet sitter and dog walker in scottsdale - I grew up in Georgia and now live in Scottsdale with my fiancé and our three beloved pets: two dogs, Busy and Archer, and a cat, Francis. My love for animals started early—my mom is a lifelong animal rescuer who still feeds a colony of stray cats every day, and she passed that compassion on to me. I began pet sitting by helping friends and family while they were out of town or at work, and now I provide professional, reliable care for pets across the neighborhood. I don’t currently work outside of pet care, which means I have the time and flexibility to give your pets the attention they deserve—whether that’s a midday drop-in, a long walk, or dedicated playtime. What I offer: Drop-in visits for feeding, fresh water, litter scooping, and meds as discussed Dog walks: 30-minute or 60-minute options tailored to your dog’s pace and energy Enrichment and playtime to keep pets mentally and physically stimulated Photo and text updates so you always know how your pets are doing Flexible scheduling for daily, weekly, or occasional care Meet-and-greet intros to make sure everyone feels comfortable My approach is simple: patient, safety-first care with lots of love, structure, and clear communication. I’m happy to follow your routines and training cues, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’d love to become your trusted daily or weekly walker and pet sitter. Let’s set up a quick intro and make a plan that fits your pet’s needs. I am currently transitioning from full-time work to creating art part-time and have plenty of availability to come play with and/or walk your pups and kitties! I have a cat and two dogs of my own and they are considered family members :) I am free to come over to your place in the McDowell Mountain/North Scottsdale area to care for your pets and/or take them out for a walk!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8. I used to have a miniature Schnauzer and I always went over to my neighbor’s homes to care for their pets when they were out of town. I currently work 8-4 with a flexible work from home schedule and everyday I walk around my complex as exercise. My complex contains multiple dog parks so adding some company to it sounds like fun. Always approach the pet with calm and respect where ever they are. I’d play with them for a bit to get a sense of their behaviors and after put the collar on and take them to the assigned place for walking.
About: Growing up, my parents always had a family dog in our home. When I turned 18 and went to college, I adopted a puppy that was abandoned in the woods and found on a hike. He became my best friend. He lived to be 14 and passed from old age/ heart murmur, February of 2022. I miss him every day and a friend I taught with, suggested I pet sit! I figured it would be worth a try, as I had pet sit for a few friends and family in the past. In 2022, I gained 30 positive reviews (on Rover) from my fabulous fur friends and their families. In 2023, I gained 17 positive reviews. In 2024, I gained 15 positive reviews. In 2025 I gained 27 positive reviews. I currently have zero negative reviews...I'd LOVE to keep it that way ;) I have several repeat clients and I encourage you to READ my reviews! -I do require a *complimentary* free Meet and Greet visit, prior to our first booking together. This ensures that we are all the best fit for one another! You reach out to me. I'll initiate the scheduling of the meet and greet visit. I usually prefer to schedule these on a Saturday or Sunday- late afternoon. You'd send me your address, as Rover does not display the pet parent's home address until both the pet sitter and pet parent have clicked the "confirm booking" button (located at the top of the message screen in the Rover app.) If you do not have the Rover app, you can use your device to go to Google. Type Rover in the Google search bar to access the website, directly. From there, log in Rover and you can navigate your way to your messages/ rover inbox. This is where you and I will do all of our communicating. Rover duplicates both the pet parent and pet sitter's messages to one another in not only the rover inbox, but also your email associated with Rover...AND your (regular) personal text messages. Drop your phone in the toilet? Just find a device with internet and log in rover. We can still communicate! Whew! Rover does protect the privacy of both the pet sitter and the pet parent, by using an alternate phone number, assigned to each party using the Rover app (this is similar to how Lyft or Uber would use a "fake" phone number for privacy reasons.) When I arrive to your home for the meet and greet, we usually sit in your doorway for the initial hello pets...lots of waggin tails ❤️ Next, we usually sit on your couch for about 30-90 minutes to talk about myself, your pet, your requests, etc. I'm usually petting your fur love as we talk, making sure we're best furrriends! To wrap up our meeting, the pet owner usually walks myself around the home, making sure to show me: The location of pet food, food dishe(s), water dishe(s), medication(s), written directions for your booking (which I will take a photo of to read later,) the bedroom I will be sleeping in, etc. I will make sure your home feels safe and clean, as I always need to keep myself and my other client's safety and health in consideration. Don't worry- your home ***does not*** need to be spotless. However, I unfortunately ***can not*** handle bed bugs, mold, head lice, fleas, ticks, scorpians, spiders, etc. PLEASE, do not waste my gas money, nor my time, by requesting a meet and greet visit, if you have experienced any of these unfortunate situations (within the last 3 years, regardless of your current residence.) I appreciate your honesty more than you'll ever know. At the meet and greet, you may ask to view my fingerprint clearance card. I usually try to remember to have it with me. I do have a reliable vehicle. I have AAA, if I were to experience vehicle issues during your booking. I also understand how to use Uber, Lyft, the city bus and even the light rail. I would always find a way to get home to your fur child. I am highly trustworthy. I am also an incredible judge of character. As long as the pet parent and I feel good about one another at the meet and greet visit, I am confident we will have a successful booking. I do send your home address to my mother, before driving to your home. This way, if you end up being a not- so- great- hooman... well, you know how that goes. ✌️ I do bring pepper spray with me to my visits, so please do not be alarmed by this precaution I take. I love cats and dogs! I love chickens and bunnies, too! Got a Nemo fish? I. got. you. I love getting to know your temperamental cat's colorful personality... Or leaving them to rule the home, while never making direct eye contact- whatever works.. I know the fur friends need our time and most importantly, our love. I will carefully follow directions you leave for me in your home. I am a very clean and organized person and would treat your family member and your home, as my own- with the most respect and care possible. ❤️ Additional services offered, ask at your meet and greet. Extra services will be paid in cash by the pet owner. Money will be left for pet sitter on kitchen counter. Extra services may include: - FREE Daily walks (usually 10-60 minutes in length, depending on weather conditions.) - FREE dog poop pick up [during walks] & throw away poop in nearest dog poop trash bin. - FREE scooping of cat litter box. - Backyard/ Frontyard dog poop pick up & throw away $25/20 minutes of my time, [depends on weather conditions & my energy levels.] - FREE Mail & or package collection *I'm not rushing home to bring your boxes inside, but yay for you!! ✌️ - FREE watering of indoor/ outdoor plants, as long as this takes me less than 10 minutes per day! -FREE trash day bin transporting, from wherever you keep your trash bins, to the front curb of your home. - $25 "House key pick up appointment" (on any day other than meet and greet appointment) *must be paid at time of key pick up appointment. Please note- If you give me the house key the day of the meet and greet, no key pick up appointment needed!!! ✌️ ...If you can use a garage code or front door code, please provide that information to me the day prior/the day of your departure for your booking. You ***do not*** need to give me a key in addition to a door/garage code, unless you want to! I do not let people "hide" the house key, UNLESS you have a working camera, which monitors the location where the key is being hid. If your camera stops working and someone finds your key- that's on you. Another alternative is a house key lock box or even a garage opener works. Please consider giving a trusted person a spare key, in the event something happens to the original key. Tell me what to do if I somehow get locked out. It's never happened, yet! Schedule: Substitute Teacher (I have a flexible schedule. I can select 4 hour/half day teaching days, too!) I work full time in education (all kinds of experience with multi tasking and distributing my attention, evenly, among the babes!) - I have to *be at* work at 7 am until 3 pm, Monday through Friday - I do not work my education job on the weekends, meaning I have some extra time for the fur friends! *I am not home 24/7, but the occasional "I'm not leaving the house for 24 straight hours day" definitely happens. Just depends on energy levels and prior commitments.* - I also have most holidays off work from my education job, as I get vacation when my students do. This means that around busy holiday times when people often travel- I am typically off work from my main job and can be available to watch your fur babies! - **On that note- to clarify, I do not stay in the home 24/7 to watch your animal (even with "overnight" visits.) During an "overnight" booking- I do sleep in your home (I love pet cuddles, if allowed!) On work nights, I sleep (usually) from around 10 pm ish until about 5 am. A normal work day's schedule may look like the following: 5 am: wake up and take fur friend potty 5:15 am: feed and water 5:30 am: take fur friend potty for post meal bathroom use 5:45 am: I lock up and head to my teaching job 12pm ish: I send you a "morning summary" message & a video of your dog eating breakfast. 4 pm: I get home and take your fur friend potty 4:15: I feed and water 4:30 take fur friend potty 4:45 ish: I leave your home and go to the gym. Maybe I grab dinner to take to your home to eat...or maybe I go walk around Target for a bit to unwind! Perhaps I'm too tired to do any of that, find a pizza and stay in & snuggle your fur love all night. It really just depends on the day. ***please understand this is my -second- job. I take it seriously, but you are not paying me to stay in your home 24/7. There ~are~ some pet sitters that are able to do that, I am not. Please understand this ~before scheduling your complimentary meet and greet appointment ❤️ 9 pm ish: I usually get ready for bed with your fur love! 10 pm- midnight ish: I send you an "evening summary" message and a video of your fur love eating dinner! My weekends, look about the same as above referenced. (I do stay up late on Friday and Saturday nights.) During the weekend, I am often home much more than I would be during the work week. (It depends on the day. Some Saturdays I go hiking & out to dinner. Others, I Netflix binge and chill with your pup for 36 straight hours. ... I use common sense. If I was gone a lot during the day prior, I try to even it out and stay in more, the following day. Safety, trust & environment: I care for pets in the pet owners home, not my own home. I maintain good relationships with my clients and really do my best to make everyone happy!! I listen to your suggestions. I take notes. I ask clarifying questions when needed and I believe that clear and effective communication is required on both my end (and the pet owner's end,) in order to maintain a healthy pet and working relationship! I lock doors. I double check that the stove is turned off. I send pictures and videos of your animal, so you can let me know if you notice something I don't. I try my best to prevent any accidents from even being possible. I'm not a perfect pet sitter, but my reviews reflect that I take this job very seriously, because I do ❤️
“Sierra was a wonderful dog walker for our Golden Retriever. She took great care of Teddy and made sure to keep him away from other dogs per our request. I also appreciated Sierra’s flexibility, willingness to adapt to our schedules and her punctuality, too. Looking forward to booking her again.”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and multiple types of pets in general, for 14 years. I finally got a dog of my own about 3 years ago and have been training her to be an emotional support animal. I care deeply about the care of all animals and that they have the attention and play time they need. I love taking dogs on walks, making it long and enjoyable for them, going on sniff adventures and playing fetch. I’m available all day at the moment and I’m a great fit for any pup that needs all day care! I currently have a very free schedule, I’m able to be available all day to hang with your pup, as well as stay the night when needed:) I care deeply about the safety of your dog. I can always crate your dog if needed, use leashes when out and about. I love to get to know your dog through you, find out what makes them anxious, if they’re prone to running out the door, etc, so I can make sure your dog is the safest they can be.
“Savannah did a great job walking my 45lb dog. She showed up every day we had scheduled and early enough to avoid the heat. I highly recommend Savannah as a dog walker!”

“Heather was able to come walk Norman with just a few hours notice! She was very responsive, on time, gave a detailed report and my pup was exhausted the rest of the afternoon! Thanks again Heather!”
“Bianca has been so great with our Golden Retriever, Indy. He loves going on walks with her and she has improved his walking manners so much, just with simple commands and consistency. Highly recommend!”

“First time stranger walk for Walter and first time using Rover and Daniel did not disappoint. Friendly and affectionate to our pup, he took our fluffernutter on an hour long walk. He even got our pooch a water when it seemed he was thirsty because I forgot to pack one. Thank you Daniel! Will be using you again, I’m sure.”

“Sara saved me in a pinch when, after surgery, I couldn’t walk our large dog in the mornings like I usually do. While I miss taking Paisano out, I am so happy he has Sara to take him on long walks. He waits for her every morning now!”

About: I worked at a pet resort, and have had dogs and animals my whole life. I love ALL the dogs!! Ask me, I’m sure I can help. I also LOVE taking photos of pets! I am very flexible and willing to work with you! If a date isn’t available you can message me and ask it might be a request that I can help you with. Every pet is different, so they are based on their own needs. I do not have a fence so leash walking is necessary currently. I have given shots and various medications as well. Let me know what your dog’s likes and dislikes are if I forget to ask you.

Melissa was absolutely wonderful with our dogs! She walked my Siberian Husky and our Border Collie puppy for four days, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provided. Both of our pups absolutely adore her, which says a lot—especially with a high-energy puppy in the mix. Melissa was reliable, attentive, and clearly has a natural connection with animals. It gave me real peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. I came home to two happy, well-cared-for dogs every day. We will definitely be using Melissa for all of our fur babies’ needs going forward. Highly recommend!

It has been so lovely working with Rachel over the last several months. She consistently has been walking my browser daily when I’m at work. I can always depend on her to be timely, flexible, go above and beyond, send the best pictures, and being a caring and loving companion to my sweet doggy! Also, she sends great updates and is very concerned with my dogs well-being. Thank you, Rachel!!! she’s truly a dog expert and gets bonus points for being a Chihuahua mommy herself! I couldn’t recommend her more.

My pups absolutely love Shani and I do too! Shani is not only kind and caring in the way she interacts with my fur babies but she is very responsible, showing up on time every time. Shani does those little things like extra time walking them, holding and petting them and making sure they have such a positive experience. Shani loves what she does! Shani is, by far, the best person I have ever found to care for my pups!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
