When he could not walk, she pushed him in a stroller so he could still see the world. When he needed special food, she made it for him, medications were given without fail, not a single dose was skipped. I came to know Shannon as caring, kind and empathic person toward animals. She feels the same way about people and is a unwavering champion of the underdog, believing in the power of kindness and the intrinsic value of people from all walks of life.
