I will love your pets like my own!
Experience: I have been a Rover certified sitter for 3-4 years now and I love getting to meet all kinds of different animals and build relationships with them and my customers! Prior to Rover, I grew up taking care of my own pets and petsitting for family, friends, and neighbors for over 10 years. I love all animals and I can’t wait to meet your pets! My Pets: I currently have an 11 year old Shih Tzu Poodle mix named Max that I love dearly. As he is getting up there in age, he adds to my experience caring for senior dogs daily. I also have a 2 year old husky/shepherd/terrier mix named Maia who is VERY energetic and keeps me on my toes constantly. I am happily prepared to care for dogs from 0-18+. Though I do not currently have any cats in my home, I have grown up with cats and am happy to care of cats of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities! I am happy to follow specific instructions that may seem odd to an outsider but put you and your pet(s) at ease in practice. For example, when we leave the house we leave Bluey running for our dogs which may seem silly, but it helps keep them comfortable! I am not currently able to care for other dogs in my own home but I am more than happy to make visits to your home to feed, play with, walk, or simply hang out with your pets!

This was my first experience with having a sitter through the Rover system and I connected with Starlight right away for her services. She was wonderful, warm and excellent with our lil guy. We went on a 4 day trip and she was always on time and really let our doggie warm up to her so he was comfortable. I highly recommend Starlight for all your fur babies needs! I will be rebooking with Starlight again in the future 🥰
We have utilized Starlight twice now and our cats LOVE her! She communicates regularily and cares for our boys as if they were her own. We refer to her as "the cat-whisperer" and we sure appreciate her!
She did a great job with Francis! I was very nervous to leave him for the first time, but I returned to a healthy, happy cat. I can tell he got some good attention and playtime while I was gone plus, of course, all the food/water/litter care he needs. I especially appreciated getting frequent pictures and updates of my little guy!

Schedule
My schedule is currently very flexible! Unless I am out of town, I am available all days and times. If you ever need a last minute sitter, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I am willing to go above and beyond to accommodate you and your pets on whatever schedule works best for everyone. I am happy to work with you to make visits as smooth as possible.
