“Elise took wonderful care of our cats while we were away. We were able to completely relax knowing we’d get a detailed update on how the visits went, and we even looked forward to the drop-ins because we’d get the greatest pictures of them!! Like seriously the best photos we have of our cats now are from Elise. I’m most thankful for the patience and care for our oldest cat who can be very particular and standoffish. Seeing pics of her with her tail up and being social was so sweet. This is our first time using rover in our new state and we are so fortunate it was with Elise, we’d definitely rebook in the future.”

“Absolute stellar service! Alicia used ingenuity to reach our stubborn old cat and give him his food and daily meds, and eventually won his approval as well. The daily photo let us know he was okay and allowed us to enjoy the longest time away from home we have had in 25 years. Her attention to detail was amazing and we highly recommend her.”
“Kayla has watched my kitties and fish a couple times now and she's fantastic! I love that she professionally works with animals, which puts this nervous cat mom at so much more ease while I'm gone. I'll continue using Kayla to watch my babies and definitely recommend her!”

About: I have had pets and been around dogs/cats my whole life. I have taken care of my parents dogs and freinds critters in the past. I pay attention to detail and will treat your critter as if they were my own or if they belonged to a family member. I have a full time job from 8am-4pm and I am open on weekends. Dog walking is my most flexible service, but I will make time to check on your critters, and depending on the weekend, I can stay with them. I would care for a pet as an extension of any pet I have ever had. Whether thats keeping them fed, building trust, giving the attention they need, or keeping them safe
“Can’t thank Carly enough for getting me out of a last minute jam. She took amazing care of my two pups and did a great job communicating updates. Will definitely use her services again!”

About: I've loved all types of animals growing up. We always had a dog. My family raised a rooster, goats, horses, chickens, ducks, and emu's. They had an iguana at one point and my favorite thing was to help care for the animals. At 19, I fell in love with a black short hair rescue cat and I've had cats since. I am currently a caregiver and full time mom. Pet care, in shorter shifts, helps facilitate helping my client and taking the best care of my family. I care for my cats by helping groom them via brush or glove, sift litter daily and change litter weekly. Having several cats means continuous care. Wet food in the morning and evening and dry food set out during the day with a fresh water bowl or fountain. Treats for behavior reinforcement and extra love.

About: I have worked in animal shelters for over 8 years and I have extensive experience with providing enrichment, socialization, and training plans for dogs and cats of all behavior dispositions and ages. I am a canine behavior consultant certified (CBCC-KA) and a certified animal welfare administrator (CAWA). Your pets will be in good hands with me and will receive all the love attention they need! I have 3 cats and 1 dog of my own so I am comfortable providing care in households of mixed species as well. I am a very routine person! While I do work full time Monday through Friday, my schedule can be a bit flexible to meet your pets needs and ensure I am there when they need me. I will ensure your fur babies feel safe in their environment and will bring lots of treats to win over even the most nervous of pets!
About: I grew up with dogs and cats on the farm and own two dogs of my own. I have had each of them since they were puppies and they are now 7 and 8 years old. One of my dogs is reactive to other dogs so I understand some animals need a little extra time, love, and support to feel comfortable. I also foster kittens through a local organization. I have worked as a nurse for 10 years and have struggled to find trustworthy individuals to let my dogs out with my irregular schedule. I joined rover to help other people working odd hours have care for their pets. Since I have worked both day and night shift, I understand the need for animal care at non-traditional hours. I have also been a travel nurse and know the stress of moving to a new city and finding care. I am available on weekends, most holidays, and days before 2pm. I am occasionally available Monday and Friday evenings as well. I am familiar with cats and dogs of all sizes. I abide by your preferences and will ensure your pets are taken care of in the same manner you would care for them.
“Sicily was available for a last minute booking and I’m glad she was! She was able to work with my schedule and was super considerate with my finicky cats, even going beyond and cleaning up after them and making sure the outdoor cat had access to his food when he wouldn’t come inside. Very thoughtful and considerate. Will definitely book with Sicily again, highly recommend!”

“Heaven was great. She took very good care of my cat even though he is a rescue and not too interested in humans he doesn’t know. Heaven did her best to make sure he was eating and well even not being able to see him. She let me know just what was going on while I was a long way from home. I couldn’t recommend her higher.”

“Hillary was amazing and took phenomenal care of my 2 dogs while I was out of town! My dogs are a bit older and one of them has anxiety and Hillary made sure they both received the attention, love, and care they needed!”

“Kiley was amazing with our two pups. My dogs immediately liked her during the meet and greet and she made me feel super comfortable. I knew my dogs would be in great hands and well taken care of with her. She was very respectful of our home and did the check-in and check-out perfectly. I will definitely keep Kiley as my go to for when I need a reliable and caring pet sitter. ?”

“Ana is always professional and reliable and takes fantastic care of my Doberman and Pitbull. She’s goes out of her way to accommodate emergencies. She will be leaving us soon as she moves, and she will be very hard to replace.”
About: *If you are not seeing me available in August, please contact me to see my availability/flexibility on those days that may show on not available* I have been an animal lover all my life from small kittens, puppies, senior doggos to reptiles. I have been trained in pet CPR. Basic training in grooming (bathes, nail trim cuts etc.). We are located in Ahwatukee in a big house with a fenced in backyard that backs up against the golf course. We are a busy and active family with 3 kids and two doggos. We have two senior dogs (lab mix and 4lb Chihuahua). I would prefer us have a meet n greet beforehand to see if it's a good fit! If you have questions please feel free to ask! I am able to move my daily schedule anytime to accommodate taking in your pup in my home or even during a drop in visit. With the fenced in backyard and turf. We have a pool but it also is fenced in where no animal or child can enter at any time. I will have your pet on our house schedule (feeding, walks ect) or however you need your pet to be taken care of just let me know!
“This was our first time using Rover and we love it! We chose Cecilia O. because of her experience with cat's and injections. We were going out of town and our cute fat cat is diabetic and needs insulin shots. Cecilia came and met us and our cat before our trip and we all instantly fell in love with her! While we were on our trip not only did we get the Rover cards with lots pictures and updates Cecilia and I kept touch through text. She went far beyond our expectations. Cecilia stayed longer than her required time so my cat could stay outside on our patio longer, she played with him, brushed him, groomed him, cleaned his little box almost every day and of course fed him and gave him his shot. She even brought a gift for our cat at the end. Cecilia is amazing and we love her and will definitely use her again and Rover!”

“Avery did a wonderful job taking care of our dog. She is trustworthy and dependable. Most importantly, our dog enjoys her company. We plan on using her services again. This was our 2nd booking with her.”

Milla watched my cats for a long trip and she is great at communicating and was very professional. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter. She responded quickly when I had questions and my cats really liked her. She kept my space clean and tidy for when I came home as well. Thank you Milla!

Jadon did an amazing job caring for my two cats while I was away. He consistently sent photos and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind and made me feel like I could truly trust him with my pets and my home. What stood out the most was seeing how comfortable my cats were with him in the pictures. They're usually selective about people, and it was obvious that they trusted him and felt safe in his care. I would absolutely recommend Jadon to anyone. He’s truly reliable, thoughtful, and trustworthy.

We had an amazing experience with Heaven! She took such great care of our two cats and gave us total peace of mind while we were away. You can tell she truly cares about animals—everything was clean, our cats were happy and relaxed, and communication was excellent throughout. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and kind to care for their pets. Thank you again!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Guadalupe. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
