About: I have had cats and dogs for all my life and love to meet others’ pets. I have a knack for making all animals comfortable with me right off the bat (and sometimes making their owners jealous with how much they like me). I always listen to the needs and wants of the pets, especially those who may be more shy and need some space. I work part time and remote so I will have lots of flexibility to drop in on pets and stay around to keep them company. I always let animals dictate their comfort levels and how much space they need then slowly work to gain trust as needed. Once we are connected, I love to give them all the attention they want.

I will treat your home with respect and when watching animals and my own home, I do not watch multiple animals from different households to ensure that no issues were to ever arise in a negative altercation. I do have a preference of housesitting at clients homes due to just the comfortability of the animals environment not changing. They tend to already have a little bit of anxiety with the owner, leaving and changing their environment can sometimes for some animals heighten that anxiety.

I know how to stay engaged with them and also learned through a family dog how to stay calm when they were separated from their owner. I’ve available to care for dogs/cats on any week day and can travel to your location by bicycle or walk depending on distance. She has cared for our 4 (previously 6!) dogs and 1 cat on many occasions. They are a big group with some behavioral issues/nuances, and I fully trust her to handle them safely. They also all have their own food foods, medications, and feeding instructions - and she pays close attention to detail in ensuring this is handled correctly. Josi has stopped in to check on them/give breaks on long days away and has held the fort down on weekends/weeks away. Our animals all love her and she adores them like they are her own pets.
