As a graduate student, I have a consistent schedule that allows me to provide reliable morning and evening visits throughout the week. My visits include feeding, walks or playtime, potty breaks, medication if needed, and plenty of love and attention. I may also be available for overnight stays on select weekends. I always prioritize keeping pets on their normal routine and providing dependable care you can count on.

Hi! I’m an experienced pet sitter with over 7 years of experience caring for dogs through in-home sitting, dog walking, drop-in visits, and overnight care. I previously worked for a dog training business, where I learned proper leash handling, dog behavior, and positive training techniques that I continue to use while caring for every dog. I’m also certified by the Arizona Humane Society in dog care, giving me additional knowledge in safe handling and animal welfare. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, including senior dogs who require daily oral medications, and I always strive to make each pet feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their family is away. As a graduate student and educator, I’m dependable, organized, and great at communicating. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to their usual routine, I’ll tailor my care to their individual needs.

We just came back from our 4th of July yearly vacation. We are new to the area and found Avery on Rover. Avery watched our 3 dogs, 2 little mixes weighing 10 pound and a 70 pound Labrador for a week. She stayed at our house and took really good care of all of them. Besides the usual 2 meals a day and clean up she also gave them medication and put drops on their skin. Their skin looks so much better now than it did when we left. She kept in touch twice a day and sent pictures to help relieve our anxiety about leaving them with a person that they had just met. We will definitely hire Avery again the next time we need a house and dog sitter.
Avery is consistently wonderful and my dogs adore her!!!
