“Emilee was fantastic!! She came for a very pleasant meet and greet on short notice during the holidays, I felt immediately safe and in good hands and she followed through! I got tons of pictures and can tell my very social kitties didn’t miss me too much! Thank you!!”

About: Hii! My name is Aidaly and I’m ready to take care of your pup! I’ve taken care of pets for quite some time! I am comfortable around all dogs and easily willing to adapt and learn how to take care of your babies! When I come to your home to take care of, play with, and walk your babies I will make sure I am present and showing them love! I would love to be able to walk them around the neighborhood and if there is a dog park nearby have them interact with other dogs as well. I have a cat and a chihuahua of my own, Isabel and Princess - so I would love to treat your babies as I do mine. When I’m in your home, I will treat it with care and make sure your pets feel safe! I am currently doing this full time and I am available for drop ins and house sitting. If you’re NEW to Rover - Use code “as74613” to get $20 off your first booking with me I’m currently doing this full time. I enjoy working with pets and I enjoy being able to lend a hand as much as I can! :) At clients home, I care for the pets by making sure I know where everything is and looking around the area/neighborhood for local parks for us to take our walks!
“Since this was my first extended trip when a family member wasn't able to take care of Tully, I was a bit worried. Because of Daniel, I was able to enjoy my trip to Ireland with no worries at all! He sent me pictures & updates every day, & Tully seemed to really like him. I would book Daniel again in a heartbeat. Thanks for taking care of my guy!!!!!”

“Kayla was great. The care she provided was so much better than any boarding facility I have ever used. I highly recommend her and I will book her again when I travel.”

“Katie was amazing! I was dreading leaving my new puppy to go back to work after only having her for 4 days. Katie offered to swing by the house to meet Kitana before the actual day and it couldn’t have gone better. My puppy fell in love with her immediately and set my mind so at ease. My puppy also unfortunately had a couple bouts of diarrhea and Katie did amazing communicating everything to me and also handling everything at hand.”

I stick to their routine, make sure they get plenty of love and playtime, and create a calm, safe environment. I’ll also keep you connected with regular updates and photos, so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. When your pet is with me, I will prioritize: • Consistent routines (meals, walks, meds if needed) • Plenty of love, attention, and playtime • A calm, safe environment tailored to your pet’s needs • Regular updates and photos so you feel connected and reassured I can stop by for feedings, potty breaks, walks, or check-ins throughout the day. I’m happy to tailor my visits to your pet’s routine so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away. I understand that inviting someone into your home requires trust. I’m respectful of your space and attentive to your pet’s needs. I take the time to help them feel comfortable while making sure everything in your home is safe and secure and building trust with your pet along the way.
“Trish is amazing as always! My pups love her and it’s nice knowing I have a trustworthy and dependable person to look after them. Will definitely reach out to her again.”

“Krishna was wonderful! My kitty is pretty shy on the initial meet, but the first visit he warmed up to her. She was responsible, communicated, and took initiative even before I got a chance to provide instructions (I was delayed on getting them to her). She even hand washed my kitty's food dishes! I'll be rebooking with her in the future.”

“Kayleigh is the best. We are so glad we found her. I never worry when we are away because I know she is taking great care of our dogs and cats. Thank you Kayleigh!”

“Olivia is clearly a huge animal lover, and she’s super professional and caring. My cat Evie loves her! She provided detailed updates and lots of pictures while I was away. I feel very comforted knowing that Evie is in great hands when I leave town.”

“Amia does a wonderful job of interacting and taking care of our dogs! She is very gentle, but confident with her approach to dogs which was very important with our German Shepherd. Thankful to have found her and trust her with our pups!”

“The dogs had a great time and were very relaxed when I got home. It was my first time using Rover. We usually board the dogs but my older lab had a broken toe which was still healing. I was worried about him being out of the house. The daily photos were so reassuring to see him and my other dog happy and comfortable. I'm so happy to have better option to boarding.”

“Hillary was amazing and took phenomenal care of my 2 dogs while I was out of town! My dogs are a bit older and one of them has anxiety and Hillary made sure they both received the attention, love, and care they needed!”

About: I have extensive pet care experience, having owned and cared for dogs, cats and even chameleons. I am attentive, patient and committed to keeping every pet safe, happy and comfortable. I am currently working full time and am available everyday after 5 pm. I have open availability every weekend and am available all day Saturday and Sunday. I ensure a safe, trustworthy environment by being reliable and consistent, closely following each pet’s care instructions and maintaining open communication with regular updates to the owner(s).
About: I've provided care for many dog types, large and small, since I was a teenager. I've house sat to care for puppies overnight, and for senior dogs needing extra attention. I've also handled dog medical emergencies and am familiar with how to help doggos feel comfortable and safe in these situations. My day job is somewhat flexible as far as scheduling goes. I have time between meetings and project work for feedings, potty breaks, walks, etc. and can work from home from client's homes for house sitting usually for half the day if I go into the office in the morning. I will care for pets in the client's home. This provides pets with an added sense of safety being in their own home, and with their own routines. I can adapt to whatever those needs are to ensure each pet feels safe, and so that clients can trust that their pets are being well cared for.
“Thank you to Bella, who took very good care of my cats while I was out of town! She was even kind enough to unpack a Chewy delivery bc I was running low on cat food. I will definitely be using her again as a sitter.”

About: Hello! I love ALL animals, but I definitely have a special place for dogs ❤️. I’ve worked at the Philadelphia PAWS, SPCA, and East Lake Pet Orphanage. I not only learned how to properly clean dogs but I was taught what to specifically look for health wise. I recently opened my bookings back up and super excited to go back to doing what I love! I currently work from home so I’m able to give your dog all the attention they need. It’d be the greatest gift ever if you’d let me take care of your furry angel. Im very social and interactive with fur babies. I love playing with them, hanging out with them and reading any signs they give me to know if they are okay or not. In my home, fur babies are allowed anywhere and it’s pretty doggy proof in here. In your home just let me know where you feel comfortable for me to roam. I work from home! So I can adjust to any schedule needed. I’m not the most active person, but if you have a dog that’s super high energy and loves to go on walks that works for me. It helps me get my exercise in! Haha I don’t allow more than one booking at a time. So you won’t have to worry about another pet potentially with your dog. I also won’t do anything without your permission so if your pet doesn’t like certain things I will NOT do it!

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Wonder Rift
I am a veterinarian with many high-needs animals, and I am particular about who I hire to help with our pets. Josi has taken care of our (large) crew for years! She has cared for our 4 (previously 6!) dogs and 1 cat on many occasions. They are a big group with some behavioral issues/nuances, and I fully trust her to handle them safely. They also all have their own food foods, medications, and feeding instructions - and she pays close attention to detail in ensuring this is handled correctly. Josi has stopped in to check on them/give breaks on long days away and has held the fort down on weekends/weeks away. Our animals all love her and she adores them like they are her own pets. She always takes the time to give them affection, throw the ball for a dog, and sit with them. Our cat loves when she visits and immediately meows and demands attention and petting from her. She has been punctual, always showing up for our crew when expected and also has been available to help us with last minute requests many times. She is communicative, reliably responsive, and always friendly. I trust her completely with my pets and my home and would highly recommend her for any pet care needs.
Esther was so nice and communicative, she even went above and beyond to help me with something unrelated to watching my cat while I was out of town. She was great with my cat, who was being uncharacteristically shy. I would be happy to book Esther again in the future!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
