About: I have cared for dogs through friends and families for 5 years. In these years I've gained experience with dogs breeds both large and small and am comfortable with all! I work from home and have plenty of time to spend with your furry friends! If I do have roommates so your pets will never be left alone if I need to leave for a quick errand or appointment. I have a fenced yard and a doggy door so your pets will always have access to the backyard. I'm also home to let them out when needed.

About: Hi! I’m Amanda, a nursing student and lifelong animal lover with over 10 years of pet sitting experience. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, from chihuahuas to greyhounds, labs, and pitbulls. I’ve also done extensive training work with my own dogs through both private lessons and group classes, and I have family members who work as professional dog trainers at Zoom Room. In addition to dog sitting, I’ve also cared for cats for family and friends and am comfortable helping with feeding, playtime, litter box care, and companionship. I love staying active with dogs through walks, hikes, and playtime, and I always aim to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. As a nursing student, my schedule this summer is very flexible since most of my coursework is online. Outside of being in class on Mondays, I’m able to structure my days around pet care responsibilities such as walks, feedings, playtime, check-ins, and overnight stays. Caring for animals already plays a big role in my daily routine with my own dog, and I genuinely enjoy building pet care into my schedule. I also stay active and love incorporating walks and outdoor time into my day whenever possible. At this time, I only offer care in my clients’ homes so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routines. I aim to provide attentive, reliable care tailored to each pet’s needs, whether that includes feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication administration if needed, litter box care, or simply companionship and comfort. I also understand how important communication is while owners are away, so I make sure to provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.
“Amia was wonderful! Dependable, great communicator, trustworthy, sweet and friendly. I can tell she made a good bond with our dog and I definitely plan on booking her again.”

“Our first time using Rover and based on Emilee's already stellar reviews, I was expecting a good experience. What we got instead was an outstanding experience that i would highly recommend to anyone with a pet they love.”

“Leena was so great with our cat, Tall Boy! He seemed to really like her and every picture showed him at ease, which brought me great comfort while I was away. Definitely recommend her!”

“Amber and her husband are always so reliable and kind, I know my pets are safe with them even when I don’t have service and that’s a wonderful feeling to have. Thank you again for taking care of them!”

“Brian was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was communicative throughout and showed true care and regard for our kittens. I would welcome Brian in to my home again and would recommend his services to everyone I know. Thanks, Brian!”

About: Hello!! I am a stay at home dog mom :). While was husband was in graduate school for 4 years I started using Rover to keep busy and hang out with your loved ones. Before that, I would spend my free days dog sitting for friends and family. We moved to Arizona last year and have been loving it here. I spend most of my day hanging out with my dog Soni, either at the dog park or out for walks! We love taking long walks especially when the weather is beautiful outside! Soni loves to play and would love to have a slumber partywith your loved pet. She is 9 years old & an old soul! She loves to snuggle and lounge all day. I am very accommodating and will do my best to make sure that your pet leaves with its tail wagging :). I am a stay at home dog mom so I have plenty of time to show your four legged baby lots of love all day long. We just moved to a new house in September of 2023. The house has a finished & fenced backyard. So your dog can enjoy outside time in this beautiful Arizona weather!
“Melinda is a true rockstar. We went out of town for my wife’s birthday and left our two cats and German Shepherd at home for 2 nights. Melinda dropped in 4x a day, walked our dog, took care of our plants outside and went way above and beyond. She sent multiple Updates daily and was always communicative. She’s awesome and wouldn’t trust anyone else to watch our pets besides her. Check Melinda out. Your pets will be glad you did!”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life from chihuahuas and German Shepards. I know how to well maintain every dog I have had. Apart from being a student athlete, I’ve worked at a doggy daycare for about two years. During my time there, I took care of the dogs for the day, fed them, cleaned up after them, and played with them. Working there helped me develop patience and gain practical experience working with various dog breeds. I am home for the summer from college so I have lots of time to care for your pets! Outside of this, I like to go to the gym, watch lots of movies, journal, and listen to music. In my own home I care for my pets as any good owner does. I know what they want when they want it and I easily pick up their signs. We have a large backyard for them to play and run around in. Unfortunately, due to one of my dogs disliking other dogs, I cannot allow other pets into my home. While she loves people, interacting with unknown dogs is a bit complicated for her. I will ensure that any home I am in is well-maintained and not damaged by any pets.
“Krishna was wonderful! My kitty is pretty shy on the initial meet, but the first visit he warmed up to her. She was responsible, communicated, and took initiative even before I got a chance to provide instructions (I was delayed on getting them to her). She even hand washed my kitty's food dishes! I'll be rebooking with her in the future.”

About: Dog Lover with 20 Years of Experience (and One Very Spoiled Goldendoodle) I’ve spent two decades perfecting belly rub techniques and mastering the art of ear scratches. From giving meds to doling out cuddles, I’ll treat your pup like they’re my own, minus the embarrassing baby talk (well… maybe just a little). I am well versed in oral, eye, and topical medications, as well as special care for senior dogs. As someone who put their dog through a 3 week board and train program, I understand the value of maintaining your pups training. I am confident in my abilities to maintain and continue your dogs training so you do not miss a beat! I work from home every day except Tuesdays and Wednesdays, which means plenty of time for tail wags and belly rubs! 🐾 I know how tough it is to be away from your furry bestie—but don’t worry, I’ve got you covered. I’ll make sure they get all the love, care, and attention they deserve while you’re away! When I’m caring for pets in your home, I treat it like a little staycation for your furry friend! 🐶🐾 I stick to their usual routines—meals, walks, snuggles, and playtime—so they feel totally comfortable and loved. I’ll keep things tidy, send you cute photo updates, and make sure your pet feels like the star of the show while you’re away! ✨
“We absolutely loved having Lindsay watch our high maintenance fur family while we were away… think diva-level demands that even make us question our life choices sometimes! 😂 Her professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine love for animals shone through in everything she did. She followed all of our crazy instructions to a T; when she was unsure about anything she reached out right away to clarify. Lindsay sent daily updates with photos and went the extra mile with playtime and cuddles. She even went above and beyond to ensure no one suspected an empty house by moving our trash cans to the backyard after pickup, which we forgot to request. What really stood out is the extra time and care she took with the kitties, she was able to pet one of the super shy cats on her last visit! Our pets were happy, relaxed, and clearly pampered while we were away. If you’re looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter, book her NOW!! Seriously, she is amazing!!”
“Daisy is an excellent care taker and I am so happy to have found her. She always goes above and beyond to make sure my kitty is taken care of. I trust her completely and never have to worry when I leave my kitty with her because I know he’s in good hands. Thank you daisy!”

I am currently an online college student so I am home almost 24/7! A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
